Had a great time at the event that was there , concourse de elegance
Very nice you can view the stables it was very quiet and could take good photos, but it is a pity the palace itself is still under renovation.
Castle can not be visited at the moment because of renovation. The garden is very large and worth seeing. Staff friendly and helpful.
Nice palace. Really big, actually you have to spend a whole day here.
The stables and gardens are really worth the effort. The palace itself can not be visited due to renovation work. This makes it less interesting. Admission price is therefore also halved.
A long drive since we were here.
Amazed how beautiful.
Beautiful gardens !, with many different fountains!
Were there with princes and princesses. The bizarre warm weather made it difficult to do / see everything with (small) children. Park is not completely wheelchair (or pram) friendly.
Princess and princesses were barely visible (probably partly due to the bizarre high temperatures). Restaurant where we ordered a toasted sandwich took a very long time (+/- 42 minutes per toasted sandwich) for (young) children that is actually too long. The souvinir shop was beautiful, but I thought it was a pity that they really had little of the palace itself (but beautiful royal house items)
All in all, I could really enjoy it, but expectations were different.
I hope to go back to normal temperatures one day with children who are no longer dependent on the car
Gardens are beautiful, only they are currently working on a renovation.
The garden and the stables are open. The palace has been closed due to renovations.
been on the princess's day with the family for my 2 daughters. nice party, nice location (of course) a pity that we could not enter the palace itself but that is currently being renovated
Very beautiful gardens and a coach house with stables. Also the walk on the orange trail, we have walked the red, was very beautiful and led you along the beautiful streams.
Prachtige locatie voor de Royal Polo ,mooie ervaring.
Yes with smaller children it is more fun than that you go with older boys
Yes pity I am not allowed to post photos but work on a nice crane here see timelaps on the site of the loo
Temporarily on the roof, due to the renovation. Also with the (construction) lift and nice on the terrace of the resto with a Veluws beer
Beautiful palace with an intensely beautiful garden.
I loved it. Great for all ages. A truly unique and special place.
Excellent visit to this huge area. The visit of the Palace is very very good, The furniture, the rooms and the very useful information that you can hear by taking the audio kit. The visit of the park, ponds, woods, stables ... It is really to redo when everything is greener. Probably around May-June.
Although the palace is closed for restoration and renovation, the stables and gardens can still be visited. You can also enjoy the surroundings with an external staircase / lift on top of the palace. Well worth it!
The grandeur of a castle surrounded by lush gardens.
very nice park behind the palace. Nice to walk there regularly and keep in good shape.
Nice day .. princess day for kids .. fun activities and goody bag.
Beautiful gardens.
Nice walk, nice that you can lift on top of the roof terrace with a lift.
A fantastic place to be! Even though the palace itself is still closed, but the park and garden are open. We joined the prince and princes day , which was just great! Kids just loved it. Very well organized!
We could not visit the palace itself because of restoration works. But the gardens were beautiful to walk in with beautiful water features and well maintained. Also animation for the youngest.
Great building and great food in the wilhelmina hall. Go there now while you can because it will close for renovation for 4 years.
Really recommended if you are in the area.
If you have paid tax for more than 60 years, do you have to be cut and shaved one more time?
It wasn't very interesting as an architecture. However, you can pick up chestnuts at the bus parking lot and the bus stop just a short walk from the exit.
By the way, there is nothing in Apeldoorn. I've lived for a long time, but there's really nothing. There is no feature. The whole town has a suburban atmosphere.
Was nice to go hiking again. Only they are currently busy renovating.
Beautiful gardens and nice to be able to see the whole area from the roof of the palace.
The King of the Netherlands himself once lived in this place. It is currently under renovation and will be from this museum. I have the privilege of doing electricity here. Behind the museum are beautiful and large gardens. Once it has been renovated, it will be worth visiting this place.
Royal Dutch Palace. Very cool. It has a lovely garden.
We paid to visit the castle ... Not possible work and heavy rain so not possible to visit the gardens
Nice gardens and stables. Palace unfortunately closed for maintenance work
Together with 4 children (2 princes and 2 princesses) went to princes and princesses day. This was a one-off for us personally. The castle gardens are beautiful and the surroundings beautiful, but the expectation of this organized day was very disappointing. The children's activities were mediocre. The highlight was the etiquette lesson. The promised theater was there and if you are creative yourself you can turn the other activities into fun games, but I was actually looking forward to a day of playing children and not to act as an animator. Furthermore, there were very few toilets.
Beautiful and well-kept gardens. Nice that you can now use the roof during the renovation!
The palace is temporarily closed, but gardens are beautiful too.
Due to the renovation, not everything is open, only the garage, other catering establishments that are not accessible or not open very late.
Liked it a lot, the whole place is very well maintained.
Beautiful garden with fountains! Nice to walk there with children on a sunny day.
Beautiful gardens, palace is currently not open this is under construction.
So much to be learned about Dutch royal history here. Take the audio tour. Go have a cup of tea in the back of the gardens and enjoy the view of the grounds and palace from there. Allow the afternoon for your visit.
It's a very interesting place. It's still under maintenance. It's estimated to be completed by 2021. The garden is super nice. But now I can only look at the garden. There is also a bush maze, which also looks very interesting. I haven't been able to experience it this time. There are also free-range peacocks in the cafe. It is also very comfortable to drink coffee and watch the peacock open!
3 hours is NOT enough time. We were almost running to finish the stable area after the Palis tour and garden. We could have been here all day. Audio tour is a MUST and are thankful the nice ladies encouraged us to buy it. (Extra 3) A guided tour is only in Dutch. Everything is well signed and beautiful. A bit difficult I would say with a walker or stroller but people were using them. Sorbet was a perfect cool down treat after walking the gardens. There is also an Orange Trail that is available as well. The temporary exibit is extra and didn't seem worth it to us.
Very friendly staff. The palace can be visited via an adapted route for wheelchair users. However, several rooms are difficult to see, because the partition is too far away from the hallway.
The path from the till to the palace is long and very bumpy. The shuttle bus is there, but has to be paid for separately. When we were almost at the bus, the driver looked at us and drove away.
Beautifully beautiful park with a suitable walking route for everyone. Palace gardens are also very beautiful. And the lining collection in the stables is an absolute must.
There was a Concours d 'Elegance in the large park of Het Loo Palace. Fantastic arranged parking and transport from parking garage. Spacious design and lots of different cars and various brands. The race of old cars was also very nice to see.
Koninklijk en toch huiselijk met prachtige tuin en schitterende kamers.
beautiful, I have been there many times especially in the summer when the greenery and flowers and plants are in bloom. you can easily spend a day here, not only in the palace but also the stables and gardens are definitely worth it, the entrance fee is also payable. a ride with the carriage is quite fun, if you like to take photos, you can indulge yourself here. You can also go here with older children. just chilling and enjoying the beautiful. there are also plenty of bed and breakfast rentals in the area to stay the night.
Still construction site, but the garden is very nice to look at.
Very beautiful, much to see. I am curious about the renovation!
On Sunday, July 29, we have been here. The palace has been closed due to a long-term renovation. With an outside elevator you can go to the roof of the palace where you have a beautiful view over the gardens. The gardens are particularly beautiful and worth a visit !!
The palace cannot be visited for the time being due to the renovation, but there is plenty of beautiful and interesting to experience: with an outdoor lift on the roof with a beautiful view, many horses in the stables, the walk around the Oude Loo until the end of May, the Orange Walk from the palace garden to the swimming ponds and a beautiful fresh planting with spring flowers in the palace garden
We have again experienced a beautifully decorated Christmas 2017.
Very special and the gardens are beautifully landscaped.
The palace is currently unavailable due to renovation work. Despite that definitely worth a visit. The gardens are beautiful, walking around the domain is beautiful. And the stables and carriages are certainly fun to visit. Piece of royal history. We also booked high tea. Very nice and nice location in the ballroom.
Special to be able to look into the life of the royal family.
A fantastic spectacle from the panoramic roof. Everything symmetrical, what clean lines and art for that time of construction!
Great gardens Too bad that the castle is closed until 2020
Princess Day was a great success, also for the Queen Mother.
It is a beautiful and special palace with beautiful gardens, surrounding forests and the guidance is very enthusiastic.
