Despite the great renovation of the palace, I walked very nicely in the garden that was very well maintained. Beautiful plants that look great in a beautiful pattern. The walk in the woods around the pond radiated serene tranquility, and everyone greeted each other nicely. Looked with surprise at how large the carp have grown.

Castle can not be visited and is currently a major construction site. For this, the entrance and parking fees will be properly paid. Stables and garden can be visited. Not to compare with French castles.

This is one huge and best palace in the Netherlands which tourists should never miss. It has a French styled garden and lots of beautiful statues in it. The interior design of the palace is marvelous and you'll see lots of paintings and antiques. I was surprised that the former Dutch queen even had far-east porcelain and decoration. The park of Oude Loo will only be opened between April and May every year. The palace Het Loo is worthy to visit again and again.

Nice palace and nice palace garden. The palace will be renovated in the coming years, so it cannot be viewed from the inside. It is a pity that an exhibition in the exhibition space has to be paid separately. Should one solve otherwise.

The palace inside is quite beautiful, much as you'd expect from a royal palace. For those interested in royal history, it's definitely worth visiting. There is a large garden, which is impressive, although it's difficult to appreciate on a day when the weather is bad, as it was when I visited. Nonetheless, an enjoyable day out.

Willem van Oranje bought the medieval old Loo in 1684. The palace (summer residence of Dutch governors and kings from 1686 to 1975) was last inhabited by Princess Margriet. From 1984 it has been decorated as a museum. There is a lot of splendor to see in the gardens of palace Het Loo, beautifully restored to its former glory, and it is wonderful to walk through it. In the palace itself we thought it was a bit too full and very dark (there was of course no electric light in the past). Not a royal palace with very large rooms. Lots of paintings, many corridors and many small rooms. A maze for the uninitiated. The gardens made us happier. Very unfortunate that taking pictures in the palace was not allowed. All in all a special experience and worth it!
