Huge food barn. Reasonable prices courteous staff but the they are required to be. The lady who served us was delightful.

Love this place. Easy shopping heaps of selection. Nice and clean.

Not crowded, massive choices, huge cheese range, good prices, efficient, friendly.....I could go on and on.....

False advertising of "special" prices leaves a sour taste

Big shop, reasonable prices, plenty of parking, entrance is easy and accessible. For $2 you can hire a kids cart trolley to keep the kids entertained as you do the shopping. Note to international shoppers: you will require your passport for proof of age when purchasing alcohol here.

One Pak'nSave is pretty much like another. Had everything I wanted except for a coffee flavour syrup

Reasonable prices and a large selection of products. The packing of your own groceries doesn't really seem to have an impact on the overall cost of products. Note, take your own bags or be prepared to pay 5c per bag.

The supermarket itself gets five stars. However, it only gets three because of the lotto shop inside.
My mother sent me in to check her scratchy and her lotto ticket for her as she cant stand crouds.
As I was waiting in line, the receptionist, a lady with gray hair and light blue shirt gave me the evils as she served the customer in front of me.
When it was my turn, she asked for my ID. Keep in mind that I am TWENTY years old. She did not accept my ID. So, frustrated I went and got my 54 year old mother for proof. Then she refused to serve HER only because I was standing next to her.
In the end we walked off, my mother extremely angry and me in tears.
We went to the dairy across the road on Queen St and guess what? They served me. Without asking for ID.
That woman ruined my day and made me feel like the curse of this planet.
I will NEVER buy from that lotto shop agian.
If that is how you treat your customers, good luck staying open.

Like every PAK'nSave in NZ the cheapest way to buy food

Great range of products standard to Pak n Save, some items I can find here that aren't at Countdown! The only thing that annoys me every time with Pak n Save is the placement of their product pricing, I always look at the price for the product on the shelf above, their layout doesn't feel intuitive.

Great selection and generally good prices. Fruit and vegetables food for a supermarket but more expensive than the vegetable shop.

Pak n slave, well you have to do that everywhere now with the ban on single use plastic shopping bags. Selection not as good as Countdown or New World.

Good place really cheap product but a can get really crowded

It is our local. The usual brilliant service and great products.

An OK place to buy your groceries, not a wide range of brands or high quality products like you would find in its sister chain store NW but the shop itself had really helpful and smiling staff.

Busy.. A very handy carpark. A well stocked supermarket. The staff are a friendly bunch, and extremely helpful.

Busy place. Shelves pretty empty most times of essential items, most staff friendly, but lots of aisles blocked with shelf stocker trolleys.

Generally go here with a larger shopping list looking for bargains.

A great store. Good opening hours. Excellent parking. We found one staff member called Zoe to be extremely helpful and friendly. The delicatessen has a good range of ready to eat food. We will definitely shop there again.

I was there about 7 p.m. on Friday night looking for fruit and vegetables but the pickings were pretty lean
