Pak n' Save Review

Very similar to other Pak n Save shops, got just about anything one could want.

If you've ever worked at this supermarket then you know what depression feels like

Big store, great prices but doesn't stock the variety in specialist food that Fresh Choice does.

I used the self-serve checkout. Before I had a chance to ask about 'single bun' purchase, a very helpful operator was by my side! Very good service.

Good prices . Layout is useful and if you can not find an item just ask the staff. Good prices on basics like bread and butter but nearly everything is there. There is an aisle of exotic food behind the bins of dried fruit seeds and sweets.
Good wine selection.
Tons of parking and boxes for groceries after paying

Excellent grocery store. This one's quite large and had some good stuff, particularly in the bakery, meat and produce sections. Quick check out too.

Going to Pack 'N' Save you get what you're promised, cheap prices. Things here are indeed cheaper than you'd get at its competitors but this comes with a cost. Unfortunately, this causes some, I repeat some not all, of its employees to be a bit lack luster. While others are perfectly fine you do get the one who looks like they'd rather be hanging from a tree than helping you with your shop. In the end though, this is understandable since I'm there for a bargain, not some 5 star service. Apart from that it's a big store with all the stuff one would need in it and a huge range of products

Did not honour a product recall which was widely reported in media however it was not on their official list so no refund, iv'e not shopped there in months now.

Reasonable price, good access, wide varieties of products

Pak n Save is definitely the best place to shop. They seem to always have deals on.

This is a very large Supermarket. You could get lost. the service was great and staff helpful

Plenty of staff account,didn't stock endivors drink range and staff were genuinely belligerent to help ........pay rate relayed

Good store with relatively friendly staff. Not a fan on the dark gloomy environment most pns stores seem to have. This store is particularly dark.

Good value for money when weekly specials on, bring bags (sometimes there are no boxes)

Best value supermarket in town ...They may not have everything ..but what they carry are lowest prices

This pack and save is pretty large so it has a wide variety of fresh produce and normal packet and can items. It also has a large frozen section and fridge part too.

Too busy for me. A bit overwhelming coming from a small town. I found the pricing not as cheap as i thought it would be. Heaps of choices and options in regards to products.

So busy, panic buying once again..for goodness sake people just be sensible, there is plenty of supplies they are not going to run out.

Convenient, but the cost of fruit and veggies is much higher here, with far less variety, than some of the local markets around.
Also, you need to pack your own grocery bags, pay 5c per bag of you haven't brought your own, and if you are not a permanent NZ resident then you need to bring your passport if you want to purchase alcohol. Not even your driver's licence will cut it

I have disability sticker and can never easily get a park in front of shop. Especially pension day! I find pak n save runs out of alot of products and takes away our choices so we pick what they want us to buy

Check out Supervisor has no concept of Customer Service. Lower prices overall, however pays to compare.

There was a fly in the bread cabinet. When we told the staff they said it's out of their control and left it to crawl over the bread and danish.

The bakery/deli sells the biggest, freshest and most tasty gourmet sandwiches I have ever eaten. And for only $6!

Supermarket providing wide variety of well priced items. Found Latitude 41 Pinot Noir in stock at a good price. Recommend the wine and the store.

Great shop but can do so much better, the shop needs to be bird proofed and a better range of specials not so much of the wine and beer. This is not feeding families, honest pricing for cripes sake.

Everything you need. All specials on display as you walk in the entrance. Excellent lay out of food beverages bakery fish and deli. This supermarket has it all.

Couldn't give top marks as no longer stock Delish brand apple pie filling. Pam's diced apple does not make a good apple pie.
