It should be illegal how differently this hotel is representing themselves on their website and what you actually get. Our room looked nothing like the pictures- instead it was furnished with mismatched thrift store finds. The sofa bed was stained, and the mattress was a 2 inch piece of cheap foam. My son woke up with bruises each morning from the bed frame poking through the mattress. We did not have the cooktop in the kitchen (however, we were provided with cooking pots, go figure) or a desk in the living area. The carpet in the hallways were worn and dirty. We did not receive beach chairs, tickets to the museum or chilled water as promised in their ads. While I understand that COVID may have changed the way things are handled now, they are still charging the full $25 resort fee each day. You also don t get daily maid service. Again, I understand the limitations currently, but the pricing should reflect this. If I knew how run-down the room would have been beforehand, we would have booked a different hotel.

Not worth the money especially if your on quarantine. This hotel is outdated with no amenities. This particular area of Hawaii seem to be REAL hawaiian 5 0 ish ? Not alot of diversity either.

I stayed at Pacific Monarch Hotel for 1 week in March 2021. It was great and the room was very impressive. I got the "Partial Ocean View Studio with One Queen Bed" and it was great. Also the price was below all other similar 3-star hotels in the area ($140/night including resort fee +$30/day parking). I was put on the 31st floor which had an amazing view of Waikiki with a HUGE sliding balcony door such that the entire room could be open to the air. It comes with a small fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, electric stove, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. The hotel is within very easy walking distance to the beach and surf board rental shops. Also, I didn't have any problems with the parking, despite what other reviews say. Parking is $30/day... just make sure you display your pre-paid parking ticket on your window and park between the lines (the spaces are narrow, but will still fit a full size Chevy Suburban)

The rooms were very nice and you can get a great view of the beach and the city from the balcony which you can get to from the front room and the bedroom. My room had a small kitchen which came with cooking pans and eating utensils, cups etc. The staff were great and helpful. I loved my stay.

A cute and quiet 3 or 4 star hotel settled in a quiet neighbor hood with updated looks and most of the amenities to accommodate your stay.

Last time we stayed here we had a wonderful view of the beach in a room higher up, this time when we got to the room on a lower floor not so wonderful. I went to the front desk and asked if there was something better, they gave us a room on the 18th floor with an amazing view of Waikiki. They really went beyond our expectations. We enjoyed our stay very much. Security staff near lobby elevator was very friendly and always up for a friendly conversation. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and helpful. Convenient location, close to beach and stores are a short walk away. Room was very clean except for under the couch bed. Pool area was clean with a beautiful view of the beach and mountains. We were fortunate enough to have the pool to ourselves several times. Jacuzzi wasn't working when we arrived, but we called the front desk and they had someone fix it immediately. Convenient trash disposal on each floor, and bathroom was very nice and updated. Internet speed was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed for 10 days. It was a great place to rest with the wife and kids. The swimming pool was a good size for the kids too. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Mahalo nui loa.
