Pace's Drive-Inn Review

How can someone not love Paces? I've been coming here since I was a kid. The doulbe country burger with cheese, a cherry rainbow and small fry constitutes the perfect meal.

Meat on burger was so thin you could see through it. Not much pastrami. Busy place.

I've loved Paces ever since I was a kid. If I were stranded on a desert island and could request one refreshment it would be a peach rainbow! If you have never tried a rainbow before, please, do yourself the favor of getting one today.

The workers are very rude. The girl who was taking my order was acting very rude and was rolling her eyes at us. After me and my friends ordered our food I could hear them gossiping about us. Also when we sat down to eat there was a dead cockroach by the window. My friend who used to work there told me that they did the bare minimum for cleaning and she was also pretty sure that they were violating food code. This place needs to go out of business if the costumer service and cleanliness is going to be terrible. Someone please have an inspector look at the place and shut it down.

We have had a few bad experiences lately with terrible customer service, mostly high school girls gossiping in front of customers and taking FOREVER to get food out. Today my son went in to order food to go and the girl behind the counter brought it out in a basket. When my son told her it was supposed to be a "to go order" the girl was irritated and with attitide tossed the basket on the counter spilling fries all over. My son then had to scoop up his food off of the counter and bag it all. I called to complaine and the girls on the other end thought it was funny, giggling and such. There is no number for a manager.....how convenient! Mostly good food but terrible service! No manager is a bad bad idea.

Love paces. Pretty disgusting though when the staff is swatting flies behind the counter right over top of the food prep areas. This location is dirty and the staff seems inexperienced. The pastrami here is the best in the valley, not stringy and they put plenty on the burger.

The burgers were great, and the service nice, but the fries weren't as large as we thought they would be. I would certainly recommend this establishment though.

The large fries and onion rings we ordered were the size of small value fries at McDonald's, only more than double the price, no receipt to tell us what we paid so much money for, the girl at the window was too preoccupied with her conversation to say anything to us after handing our last bag and shutting her window. In case she reads this, I'd like to tell her 'thankyou, you have a great night as well'

Last night was my first time there. Everything we order was good. I heard they have floats. Definitely want to go back to try that. Also, they have lime......

Pretty good for the most part but their service was an absolutely amazing I think it could have been better. There Rainbows are amazing and their fries are pure heaven but for some reason it's a hit or miss with their fries it's either terrible or amazing overall pretty good though.

Pace's is a Layton fastfood institution. It is a great place for shakes and other fun ice cream deserts. The onion rings are pretty good but the burgers are just OK. It's kind of a normal mom and pop small town burger joint.

The grilled cheese and chicken strips were both solid comfort food. Hit that american food feel I was looking for.

Food is pretty good for fast food.but service can be better. Seems like kids are running it but way too much fun and not taking care of customers seriously.

I love paces! They have very High cleanliness standards. The fish sandwich is the best around and there rainbows are amazing. Of course the pastrami Burger and the Western Burger in the country Burger...OK so many good things...And the staff are always friendly and kind and cheerful and amazing...

I was told the country Burger had two patties of meat, burgers only have one very thin Patty of meat

Pulled into the Layton location drive thru at 9:15 pm Supposedly they close at 10:00 pm. All the lights were on and the open sign was still on. Sat there for a few minutes longer with no response. A worker walked past us. Another car pulled in behind us. All the lights were suddenly turned off so we left as we drove by the window the workers were ducking underneath the counter. We just wanted some popsicles for a soar throat. Could of at least had the decency to tell us you were closed.

Overcharged me - $4 for a small fry. The burger was smashed and small.

Been there twice and both times they messed up my order. First time I had ordered food it was all wrong. Today I ordered a hot fudge brownie sundae, they gave me a Oreo brownie sundae. I told her what I ordered and she said yeah there's brownie at the bottom, I asked why the Oreos and she said it comes like that. That was a blatant lie. I had to drive away with the messed up order otherwise she would've been wearing it. I wished i could've kept my composure To ask for my money back. Needless to say I will NEVER go there again.

I thought they forgot to put a patty on our hamburgers. Turns out they are just paper thin. The onion rings were gross. The coke tasted like 3 different sodas combined. The kids grilled cheese is a hamburger bun with cheese melted inside. Not grilled. The tots were the only thing we got that were good. It was a terrible lunch unfortunately.

Great family restaurant that I've been visiting since I was a teenager. Love their fries and corn dogs, and you gotta get a rainbow when you go! I like the tigers blood flavor.

Doesn't take American Express which doesn't make sense. Basically McDonalds level food for twice the cost.
