The service was great and I loved their chicken tenders basket. The rainbows are delicious.

Decent little fast food joint. They are reasonably priced and their onion rings are pretty amazing. They can/will make custom shakes for you. Their burgers don't seem to be as greasy as McDonald's or any of the other fast food places. This is always a hit with my daughter because the kids meals come with a coupon for a free ice cream bar.
Great little local shake shop. I think they had burgers and stuff but we got off the highway needing shakes. Wife raved about her seasonal pumpkin shake. Worth the stop!
This is an ok place to eat. Fairly good food. What you'd expect from an old diner style place. Not as clean as I would say is in my comfort level although not filthy.
Awesome food and good, happy employees. We will go back many times!
They have amazing food for a really great price. The staff are nice and helpful and they have a nice diner and a drive threw.
I love it the food and drinks are delicious plus the ice cream and slushie's
Ummm.....the best burger (country burger). It tastes like what you imagine McDonald's commercials from the '90's burgers taste like
Food is great but pricy.
My only complaint is that they are not doing refills because of the covid situation which I understand but we had to buy a whole other drink instead. If you not offering refills maybe you can put something into place so we don't have to pay full price for another drink, offering a 2nd drink at a discount would be my suggestion.
Good ice cream and I would recommend the rainbows. They are a little pricey though.
I love coming here, they have these things called rainbows & they're the perfect treat on a summer day, if you happen to stop by i would recommend a strawberry rainbow.
No clue where they get the chicken but only a handful of places have anything like it and they are in amusement parks. Best chicken strips without a $50 ticket to a park.
My favorite place to eat out in Layton, the rainbow floats are delicious.
Country burgers, onion rings, and lime rickeys. Perfect meal! Yummy!
This is my favorite burger place in all of Utah. Their country burger and fries should be a dietary staple
Best ice cream! We go her all the time for dessert! Their food is good too, we always get the country burgers!
Such a good place to eat. Old fashion hamburgers and so much more. The food tatse really good and its not very expensive. I would highly recommend Paces.
The people who work here are really nice and efficient. It's not a gourmet joint, but they get the orders right every time and the kids love to go there.
Awesome foot long hotdogs! And the fries are out standing!!!!!
It's got the country setting!
Love this place. Great food that feels like home. My kids love it.
Dear Paces ownership,
We were regular customers to your store for years before moving out of state a while back. We remember when your store opened in Layton and how excited everyone was.
Our family digs the old-fashioned diner experience as well as the food, which is always cooked fresh and tastes superb.
We stopped in this past weekend, during our brief visit back home and everything was still fantastic.
The staff does such a great job. Their friendliness and attention to detail is much appreciated.
I wish your eatery continued success and hope you'll branch out in the future. Fort Collins sure could use a franchise like yours as there's nothing like it out here. These folks haven't even heard of fry sauce, lol.
McDonalds killer but closed on Sunday. Old school style fast food with real ingredients. The best experience is to walk in and order.
Delicious grilled cheese. Cute and cheerful staff . regular diner fare
My family and I love Pace's. For years we would travel down to the bountiful (and then the only location) Pace's and get great food. But I have to say that as the years have passed the quality of the bountiful location has gone seriously down hill. The teenagers that work there now are not very friendly or helpful. They are also slow and don't make very good burgers. I also can't get a decent malt from them anymore! The last time I went there for a Chocolate Malt there wasn't a single taste of malt to be found. It was just a semi-chocolaty shake. When I challenged the kid who had took my order I slowly found out that he really didn't know what a malt was! He assumed it was just more chocolate in the shake. Double face palm.
Now, the experiences I have had at the Layton Pace's have been far superior. They are always friendly and fast and my malts are malty! When I worked close by several years ago I would usually go once a week. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. I'm not sure if it's the same family that runs the two places, but if so your bountiful location could learn a thing or two from the Layton location! Keep up the good work!
Got a burger here and it was so gross! Way way way too much weird sauce. Would not come here again.
I didn't know a burger could be that thin . I could not tell i was eating a burger with all the lettuce and sauce. Chocolate Shake was so thick could bot drink through straw and did not taste like real Chocolate actually did not even taste like artificial either.
What a let down . How about a fresh thick Burger not a paper thin frozen one .and Real Chocolate Very disappointed
We stop and eat at Pace's when ever we are in Layton. I like the food there a lot and it's not a chain. Very good ice cream treats and such. Only complaint is that the burger patties are small but I always get a double.
I want so bad to love this place! But the management is terrible. The food is okay, the popsicles are awesome, ice cream is pretty good and old school enough to be unique, but they mess up my order EVERY time and then all but blame me, the customer, that they got it wrong. They once told me i didn t talk loud enough at the drive though so they got it wrong... i avoid going here if i can the ones in Bountiful or Clearfield must be under different management because they don t seem to have the same problems... they charge for extra fry sauce in Layton too, the manager told me that all the gourmet burger places do. I literally started laughing and could not voice my dismay that they thought the were a gourmet burger place. There is more meat in a McDonald s happy meal. Again, food is pretty good but they have a huge opinion of themselves and are managed very poorly, customer is always wrong at Layton Paces.
Super good prices. I went ti get onion rings, my favorite, but they were out!
Love the food at Pace's. They're fresh lime slushes are divine!
Still carries the charm of a local burger joint. Food is good,
I'm in love with their tater tots! There ice! Their food!! Darling nice girls working and told me about the card punch for drinks and how to save on refills.
They have a huge fly problem, there were dead flies in the booth I was sitting in.. I ve came here 3 times in the last couple months and always horrible flies buzzing in your food and it makes you lose your appetite , it s really gross. The service is okay and The food is alright , I love the ice cream more than anything. I hope they do something about all these flies
The food was really good. Fry sauce? Did not know that was a thing, yes please!!! Rainbow? Half slurpy half soft serve ice cream? Didn't know that was a thing, yes please. I got the chicken sandwich and it was so yummy. Best fries I have had in a long time. Will definitely go back when I'm visiting.
White castle will give this place a run for their money on the meat department
This was the first time I've ever had rainbows. It's pretty much snow cones in a cup with vanilla ice cream. It's so simple but so good.
We love Pace's. Great food and service. Reminds me of an oldtime diner.
Delicious on all levels, can't seem to stay away from this place!
While visiting family in Layton, we decided to stop by Paces for their famous onion rings. The rings were a little greasy, but edible until we found a hair embedded in the batter of the rings. The only response from the teenage staff was "we're sorry"...no offer of a replacement or refund. Very unfriendly and definitely not helpful. Needless to say my expectations were not met and I will not be back.
Fantastic service and food! I ordered a large rainbow and asked for extra flavoring and they more than delivered!
Always super tasty!! Just wished it was a little cleaner.
Everything is delicious!! Coustomer service is amazing!
The food is good but I don t think I ll return back! The employees are not wearing masks and whether this is a political stance or not, it s a serious health violation and I reported them to the county officials. As a healthcare professional I was shocked!
Asked for a small clear plastic cup for ketchup and mustard to dip my corndog in and was denied. So much for customer service! I guess I'll go back to burgar king!
Seriously went to Paces twice in one day last week. I grew up in Bountiful next to the original and it s part of my childhood...worked there as my first job with Chad Pace, who I believe started the Layton Location. Anyway, I friggin love Paces, always have!!
...BTW the cotton candy rainbows are next level!
I absolutely love their pastrami burgers. My wife and I are addicted to their dr. Pepper.
Customer service is great but every single time I go to the drive thru they melt the fry sauce cup on my fries. I really don't appreciate eating melted plastic on my fries because then I just wasted money on a meal I can't eat.
It's not too bad, the food was good and the diner is a little older feeling. It is great for a quick family bite to eat. This is not a bad place at all, it's a great mid-tier burger joint. But that is all it is.
Not what I expected.... Thin burger patties, overpriced frozen fish, they had good fries and onion rings though
Good place to eat. My family likes the Chicken Strips there, always good !! Onion rings are the best!!
One of my favorites, but the bountiful location is hands down the best
Staff not wearing masks on 6/27. They state they don't "have to start wearing them until next week". What the heck? The pandemic is now 3+ months old. Why no masks until next week? Did not feel safe.
Good price, great food (esp rainbows, popsicles, and onion rings). Their service is notoriously slow, especially during the high school's lunch and just after classes let out
Burgers are great! Made to order! Big big difference between Pace's and fast food chains. Decent prices.
The best pastrami burger in the state!!! The regular hamburger is equally as good! The fries are amazing!!!
Can give In-N-Out a run for its money. They are literally neck and neck. The only difference is that wait for Pace's is relatively short. Me and my wife have been coming here ever since we moved to Layton. We will be a life long customer for sure.
You get what you pay for don't expect too much if you're hungry order a double they also have tots definitely a plus
Veey yummy food. There pace bars are the best. Their prices are pretty good as well
Ordered a double deluxe country burger and small fry, the burger was disgusting and the fries were under cooked. I'll never go back and I'll make sure I let others know how bad this place is.
For some reason I feel like the manager or owner of this Pace's has an obsession with young blonde teenagers. Every time I come here that is the entire staff, which no offence to them but you can tell how young they are simply based off of their complete lack of knowledge and work ethic. If they trained their staff properly I would be more inclined to change my review but I don't believe that is going to happen any time soon.
