Great food and friendly, smiling service at the counter!

Normally this place is ok but dang so glad the girls working tonight were so happy and talkative amongst themselves while customers wait 10 mins for them to quit talking to make a simple banana split..and its really ridiculous being handed a banana split in nothing but a flimsy cardboard fry container like seriously don t have any to go containers for people so they don t have to spend time cleaning ice cream out of their car will not be going back ever

The girls working were adorable! Onion rings were delish! I ordered a grilled cheese with ham, it was more like a toasted sandwich.

No professionalism. Everybody was in plain street clothes. The hamburgers are dinky. It was the first time and the last time I will ever eat at this place again. Too little meat. Too much ketchup and mayo. Not to mention a tiny shake was 3 bucks. Cashier was some kid who looked like he was 9 years old.

We like the food, BUT the only problems that we have is there seems to always be flies all over in the restaurant. I'm sitting here now and am counting 6 on the window behind our seats and 4 on the window next to our seat. The other thing that bothers us is the ice cream shakes seem to always be about an 1-2 inches below the rim. Owners, please do something about the 2 listed issues. Thank you.

We came in at 9 oclock tonight only to not get the sandwiches we ordered, or one of our rainbows. Not sure why exactly but waiting in line to fix the problem took longer than just getting it right the first time. So we left. Not pleased

I ordered at the drive-thru. When I pulled up to the window, saw no employees had masks. I told a employee politely I don't feel comfortable without masks and said please cancel my order. She the employee yelled masks don't work and spit at me. Hopefully a manger there reads this and it's video tape. TicTok

Paces has amazing burgers, my husband and I usually get the paces double cheeseburger! The burger is large portions and filling. Sometimes we share a burger and onion rings. The onion rings are good too, but nothing beats the burger.

Burgers are okay but the shakes and onion rings are great!

I love the food here and the shakes are excellent if your in the Layton area this is a must.

Decent food, but the pastrami burger is great just as they claim.

I love the low prices of this place. The meat in the hamburgers is only about a millimeter thick. Where are you need to feed a bunch of kids it s not a bad option

Cockroaches!!! Today while my husband and co workers was eating there cockroaches ran across the table. They left without eating along with other customers!

The double pastrami with cheese is an amazing burger at a good price. The service is great, and the place is always clean. Definitely a highly recommended local burger shop!!

Used to be top rating...but the double cheese burger did not have lettuce onion pickles or tomato on it. What is the deal with that?

Not impressed with this location. It smells funky inside and really trashy and dirty. The cashiers always look at me like I'm a cockroach and it's way too expensive.

Had a wonderful night at Paces tonight with the family! Christina was an amazing hostess, she personally brought our food to our table and made us feel like we were family!

I like the Layton Location way better than the Bountiful. In Layton they are quick, clean, and the atmosphere is much better. All in all great food and great service.

The best onion rings. So tender not stringy ever. And nothing better than a rainbow drink.

I grew up going to the Pace's in Bountiful. If you've never had a 'Rainbow', you need to try one right now.

Great tasting burgers and fries, also recommend trying one of the rainbows.

Love the ice cream and homemade onion rings from here! And it's always great tradition to bring my family and get some good old pace bars.

They are the best ever hamburger/onion ring/fries joint in the whole USA!!! I can say it from going to the original Bountiful location and the newer Layton location for over 25 years!!! All the food is very very good and it has only been at the most 1-2 times that we have had a very very very minor problem with service or food quality!!!

The very best burger is the Country Boy W/Cheese (CBC) and then choose the fries or onion rings (these are to die for) with the BEST fry sauce around and you have to wrap it up with a RAINBOW!!!!! The Rainbow will need to have EXTRA Ice Cream and the a partial suicide of grape, cherry and peach flavors in the same cup!!

We have lived out of town for most of the 25 years and this is the ONLY place we'll make sure we eat out at when we are visiting the area!!!!

I give them the very very very best of tips because of all the years of such a great place to visit and eat!

I'm sorry I'm a weirdo and can't eat gluten. The pastrami burger on a bed of shredded lettuce was pretty good.......however, you forgot my fork. It smelled really good so after an appropriate amount of hand sanitizer I proceeded to eat with my fingers.......I can tell you their food is very hot and fresh. Now the reason for the 4 star is not for my delicious burns, no. If I would have had a fork, I would've gotten more of the fries.

What happened Pace? Ordered a fresh strawberry rainbow and there is no fresh strawberries. I went and asked the counter if I got the wrong order and they said, if you look really close there is tiny strawberry fibers in it. The equivalent of this is trying to pass off fresh orange juice by adding a few pieces of pulp to water and calling it fresh orange juice. If you are not going to add fresh strawberries then take it off the menu. Customers are not dumb. In the past these same Rainbows had huge chunks of strawberries.

If you are searching for fresh and delectable food, with fantastic customer service, and quality time with friends and family; Pace's must be your next destination. This food joint has been my go to for many years, and I have not been disappointed once. Kudos to all of the employees who truly take pride in their work, and keep their valued customers happy.

Their ice cream and frozen treats are awesome. The food is good. The price is just a little higher than other fast food.

Way too expensive. $3.30 for water cup filled with a slurpee.

We've been patronizing Pace for over 40 years, we WILL NOT be going back!
We had terrible service at the Layton location! "large" order of fries was the smallest we've ever gotten from Pace! The package wasn't full! Our burgers were ALL wrong! We told them about the burgers, before we ate any of them. They took them back did "something" to them, and they were still not right!
We ate them any way. The beef patties seem to have gotten even smaller than they were just a couple weeks ago! What happened????
We spent over $20, and for a few dollars more, we could've spent the same amount at Crown Burger and been super full and had leftovers!!!!!!! We were still hungry after eating at Pace!!

Best tater tots in the world! I enjoy their menu items. Their slushies are really good. However, they need a new speaker. You have to repeat yourself about 5 times before they get your order correct. I think it's due to a bad speaker system. Nice customer service.

Love the small town diner feel and the more extensive choices in good than a fast food, chain restaurant.

Pace's has great old-style food from a simpler time; burgers, corn dogs, and Popsicles (Pace bars) are our favorites.

My dad was a taxi driver, every couple months there was a guy that flew in from New York to buy a bunch of their Popsicles and then flew them home (back when it was much easier to fly). Rainbows are amazing, cherry or tigers blood slush with soft serve vanilla ice cream. Sounds weird and then you drink it and you're hooked.

Hamburger patties are smaller than the McDonald's cheap hamburger, and that's for the "Deluxe Hamburger" they sell. They really need to increase the quality of their meat. Their slushes are amazing and that's what brings me here.

Decent food at a decent price. The onion rings are a "got to have" if you go here, and the rainbows are excellent finish to your meal!

Great food! Lots of choices. Awesome prices! Family friendly. Love their thin Burger patties & tasty fry sauce! My husband loves their soft serve ice cream. Its very very creamy. It's a frequent go - to place for us for sure.

Get the rainbows slush it's in cups ice cream in them they put it under the I cream machine

This is a class drive in. The food is alll their own & delicious.

What a joke, this was the first time I've ever asked for my money back at a fast food place. Our order came out wrong, so we asked them to fix it and the girl asked for more money. When asked why we needed to pay for it to be corrected she didn't give any answer, but took the food back. They then gave us the same incorrect order again. When we brought it back, the girls just laughed and attempted to ignore us, until we asked for our money back on the food. I thought I could look past the dirty store and poor service if the food was good, but the portion of our meal that wasn't wrong was subpar as well.

This is a great place to go for a treat! Get a "Rainbow"- you won't regret it! Every time we're in town we try to stop and get one. Delicious!

Burgers are on the thin side, but other than that it s pretty good. Price is comparable to McDonald s, but fries are better and onion rings are amazing. Like others have said, lots of flies and a little dirty but what you d expect from a small family restaurant like this.

nice little mom'n'pop burger place! good, greasy, fast, and cheap.

The building itself is Rundown and hasn't been updated since the 80s but the food here is really good and the shakes and drinks are spectacular. Would go here any day of the week.
