Stephanie best bartender in Wexford! Makes sure you are taken care of and great personality and love the atmosphere. Previously when the restaurant/bar opened it was lackluster at best. Good work on the improvement. Let's see what summer 2020 can be!

Oxford has all the weights for all the gainz. It's all pain, all gainz, no baby reppin and big lifts. Huge well ventilated space. Big open doors. Lots of fresh air flow and so clean you can probably eat off the floor. The best way to avoid covid is muscle and a high protein diet... strong people are hard to kill. Just say no to a sedentary lifestyle of garbage food and hand sanitizer. Get over to Oxford immediately. It's the best. Something for everyone and awesome atmosphere. Stay fit n healthy. I love my Oxford!

This facility offers many classes and amenities. There is basketball, tennis, swimming and many other activities for everyone. They have many events for families to enjoy. The Terrace Restaurant offers many seasonal dishes for a wonderful dining experience. They have live entertainment on Fridays, date nights, taco Tuesdyas and other delectable offerings. The cafe side also hosts sandwiches, Starbucks coffee and a list of smoothies to choose from.

It's a nice place. Now understand this is not a rating for the overall club just the experience with the cabana bar. Honestly reminds me of Jersey Shore. If that's your scene great place to go. Like me if it's not then the place is okay.

So for $250 per month, I spent 20 minutes moving from treadmill to treadmill at 5 am to try to find one with a TV with volume and channel changer that worked. Not going back. Unless I want to sit in a new uncomfortable chair in the middle of an empty room and do leglifts.

Cabana Bar, I was there for the last and final day of celebration of the closing of an awesome place. Where you can just chill, meet people, hang out in a beach like setting. Mark, thanks for the good times! Rich

Full service, upmarket athletic club in the style ...

Full service, upmarket athletic club in the style of those in London, NY, or LA, the only of it's kind in the area. You get complete racket sports facilities (indoor tennis, outdoor clay courts, racquetball, and squash), gym facilities, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a cafe, bar, virtual golf, pro shop, and executive quarters including a private club restaurant. They have a wide array of specialty classes and personal instructive offerings in gym training and sports too. Plus competitions and special events. And all the boutique amenities of a world class facility. The kids are crazy about the place too. The outdoor pool is the place they all want to be in summer. They have child care for the younger ones and have activities for the older ones. A lot of the local sports team's professional players from the Steelers and Penguins like James Harrison, Antonio Brown, Kris Letang, and Pascal Dupuis and others work out here too, so that speaks for itself. As do the gym's photos. Anybody complaining in reviews here is just laughable when you consider how many pros chose it and look at the photos yourself. They obviously must have some other issue, it seems like they're probably from less affluent other parts of the area and don't understand what a club facility actually is (and perhaps can't truly afford it). This is a racket and aquatics CLUB not a freakin' barbell warehouse. The club style is exactly what you pay for. Why would even join a racket club just for a gym in the first place? (Because you wanted to just to be able to claim you "go to Oxford"? Yeah, ya did.) That cost/benefit ratio was never going to workout, if you don't play racket sports. It's not Oxford's fault you joined a tennis club thinking it was Planet Fitness.

Just joined today and we loved it. Great pool, state of the art gym with awesome classes. Good food options!

Covid-19 hit and things changed. I know that it s not their fault that some things are closed but the trip spin class is no more and it s more of a ghost town. Sadly they removed the restaurant to put in another yoga studio... not happy about that and they have zero weekend hours for my children to go to kid zone. We use to spend our weekends at Oxford as a family for four. We would workout and shower while the kids were in kid zone. As a family we would grab lunch every sat. Now we are considering canceling our membership. Dues are expensive and there is less of everything. Bring back kidzone and the cafe!!!

Great place good work out. Locker rooms a little dirty. Towels on the floor. After their remodel and update I was told rates not going up. They increased the rates by calling it a surcharge on top of hope regular rate. It is still and increase

My family was a member since you opened. I recently referred a friend of mine who was racially profiled and quoted a price that was out of this world. The new management is horrible, laughable really. How can you treat people this way and expect to stay in business. Due to this terrible treatment you will be losing 12 clients that have been with you for 20 years.

Premier exercise facility. I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. The equipment is state-of-the-art. The management is attentive and proactively addresses concerns. The atmosphere is inviting. The amenities delightful. It's a place where you not only become physically fit but you have fun. Pam

Horrendous business practices. At the start of COVID, we froze our membership as per the recommendation of the staff, rather than cancel and were told we could cancel without any fees due to COVID. Well, we moved out of state and out of courtesy, we called to let them know we wanted to permanently cancel. Long story short, much back and forth and they still went ahead and charged us a month of fees after no charges for 8 months. All because we notified them we were cancelling. I should have just let it stay frozen in perpetuity. We have disputed the charges and our CC company has decided to back our case.

This place is an absolute disgrace! I m a member of the local volunteer fire company. A few months back, I was talking with one of my buddies from the department about gyms to join. He said he has been getting a first responder discount from Oxford for a few years. Long story short- I email membership and tell them I m with the local volunteer fire company checking on the first responders discount. The wonderful soul on the other end of the email, in no uncertain words, says: Oh you re a volunteer, not a REAL first responder! Sorry you don t qualify.

Long story short, I will forever avoid this place as long as it is under the current (new) ownership. While they are spending a ton of money on the place, they are completely abusing membership and gauging everyone with rate increases.

My recommendation: go to any one of the other fine clubs or gyms in the area!

All I can really review is their pool, because I do not use the gym or other services they have. I have just gone to the pool all summer, by using a family members membership. So what I love about this pool that stands out to me, is the fact that the baby pools water is always warm! I have gone to other pools where the water was so cold, that my 1yr old daughter wouldn't even go in! There are always plenty of babies for her to play with, as well as plenty of older kids for my 10yr old to play with! And if my daughter is ready to take a break from swimming, there are plenty of umbrellas to catch a nap in the shade under. The lifeguards are really nice too, and there's one in particular (Don't remember his name ,) who always plays with my daughters pool toys with her. Again though; This is just a rating on the pool, not the gym or other activities Oxford offers.

This gym was pricy before the change in management, I always considered it too high for the amount of usage we got out of it. With the new management, they are trying to increase my monthly rate by 59%. They've renovated some and added a lot of revenue streams for themselves. The long list of items that they'll state as the reason for the increase almost all generate even more income for the club and are not free to use with the membership. More services that I'd have to pay for aren't worth the 59% cost increase.

Great facility, requires membership but it is worth the expense. Locker room are well maintained. There's enough equipment to handle the morning rush. The pro shop is well maintained. It is open at 0445 in the morning and well staffed. The staff is courteous and helpful but not intrusive. The clientele are mostly professionals in the morning but I don't see it being set up for power lifters.

Overpriced membership for same ellipticals, weight machines and equipment as everywhere else. Plenty of dust and dirt on the class area and basketball court. Once you pay for your membership, they'll try to sell you all different products that should be included. You can tell is just a snobby club that in in business for profit.

Not worth the money. They hired a neophyte for communications with incompetent and unclear style. Some of the messaging was misleading, especially about rates. They also found it inconvenient to remind members of the 40 day notice till the new rates were just around the corner. Very dissapointed of the dismissive treatment from the new mgmt. team and how they reply to inquiries.

The recent emphasis on the customer experience is very obvious. They are focusing on making you feel at home when you sweat and when you dine. The facility has improved to meet the times, and albeit there are still some relic features of the club, the mission is to modernize and accommodate. We have enjoyed the club and wish that experience for all the prospective members.

Appalled by the disrespect and attitude my husband received when questioning the ridiculous unfair PROFILING rate increase after being loyal members for over 9 years. Needless to say we cancelled because of the unprofessional explanation and because we found out other people received lower rates than us, this WILL backfire on you Oxford, I promise. I honestly just hope the club goes bankrupt and closes and I hope you lose all of your loyal old members. The rates do not offer tanning, spa treatments, or anything. Just out dated equipment and a smelly old sauna and steam room. Extra $ for classes. I would also like to bring up an incident that happened a few months ago (I should have cancelled my membership then) how a woman named cy told me I wasn t myself that I didn t look like my photo on my ID and made me walk all the way to my car and get my drivers license to prove it was me. That s the kind of treatment you get at this club. I never received a phone call or email about the incident from a manager. Just a sorry . I will tell everyone I know how horrible this place is from now on.

It s tough to deny that many businesses felt the brunt of Coronavirus shutdowns. Oxford Club was an in especially precarious position given they run group classes, have a gym, and serve food and drinks.

I m one that feels strongly you can see the true character of a business when it s challenged. Prior to the Shutdown, Oxford began taking safety precautions before most businesses even considered it. They ramped up hand sanitizer and spaced out classes. They shutdown when/before they needed to and most importantly, they turned off membership billing. Shutting down your business revenue stream is the most drastic, difficult decision a business can make, but they made it immediately and with grace.

Not only did they do right by customers during a trying time, but they ve managed to upgrade and expand. The reopen has been nothing but a success. Both Carolina Quiroga and Emily Jamison do a great job communicating Oxford Club's journey to full return.

Their outdoor pool is fantastic, swim and tennis for kids (my daughter has experienced both) are top notch, and the gym is high-end. All the employees are personable and energetic and seem to love what they do. Its an affordable club that offers families and individuals a high-end wellness and entertainment experience.
