Oxfam Italia Review

Been there twice this week and closed both times... the opening times changed. Will not be coming a third time ... I travelled from Abingdon ..a total waste of time and petrol.

Maybe some staff training is needed but not answering the bell for taking donations then once in the store (via the open side door) taking someone to the far back of the shop and standing over them while asking for gift aid details to be entered was not great for the customer.
Likewise someone else was in a similar position being there for donating but finding themselves in the shop via the open side door and being required to leave as the shop was closed.

Completely frustrating. Nothing on the website giving information about declining donations of items for the shop. All it says is that donations will be accepted on Monday Wednesday and Friday.
A complete waste of a drive across town. Please update your website with correct information

Amazing choice. Be prepared to scramble! Staff are really helpful and friendly.

It could have much more stuff in that space. Very over priced and not worth the travel there.

Lots of very clean stuff in great nick and plenty of opportunity to volunteer.

Great if you're looking for complete tea/dinner sets. Wish there were more men's items, and I think the pricing needs to be improved! Certain items were way too expensive for what they were - I left with some beautiful homeware that I don't regret buying as the money goes to charity, but I know I could have paid less.

Just to clarify before you read: the staff, the layout and everything else about the shop is great. If you want to support the charity, then don't let this review put you off... They still do some great work across the world!
BUT this place completely misses the point of charity shops in my opinion. They're not supposed to just be places for the charities to raise money, they're also places where people who can't afford brand new goods can shop for things like furniture/clothes/book.

There really are only a couple of items, if any, which are priced like second hand goods, let alone like charity shop goods.
Honestly, if you're going to shop here then you may as well leave it. Go and buy yourself something brand new instead. It'll cost almost the same!
The shop itself is lovely, but you'll be hard pressed to find anything at 'charity shop prices'.

Very good enjoyed coffee and cake, pleased to see precious donations not sold for a pittance. Well laid out I bought 3 items all very reasonably priced, one a covered veg dish to a set my daughter recently inherited it was a bargain.

Wax wrap workshop at the Superstore today was fabulous! We all came away with wraps we made.

WOW! This place is fantastic! Ignore people moaning about the cost of items; from what I saw instore, the products available are good quality and fairly priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, and considerable care has been taken to present the items for sale in attractive and well planned displays. Make sure you allow plenty of time to browse - we didn't even make it to all the stalls! Keep up the good work :)

Mens section quite small but definately some bargains to be had.. Worth a visit

Very poor. A lot of wasted space, very overpriced, next to no toys / board games etc. I know it's early days but till staff needed a lot more training. Wasted trip.

Great place for a good rummage! Children's and men's sections are quite small but amazing women's and homewares sections. Also stock loads of their ethical new product ranges and coffee, chocolate etc and have Faith in Nature refill station!!

Spacious, always changing. Great new space, lots to choose from and 'new' stock always coming in. Looking forward to my weekly Saturday visits.

Based on reviews seen here so far and the prices I am seeing online, I wont be wasting my time or petrol travelling here, prices are far too expensive for a Charity. Facebook sites, eBay, Amazon, and other places appear to be cheaper = what a shame, I'm disappointed

I ve found staff to be rude and unhelpful on several visits to the shop with many items overpriced and in poor condition. After my last visit I won t be going back

Lots of choice! Items are sold at sensible prices so that you can get good quality items much cheaper than new whilst still raising lots of money for charity!

I love it there the staff are lovely and very helpful, plus the cafe is good for food which is always good in my opinion.

Very disappointed in this store. I found it was very overpriced, especially for a charity store. Can buy most items brand new for less. And they didn t really have much variety. Everything is the same. Was expecting a lot more.

Bright, open space, beautifully curated and full of great deals. So much more stuff to chose from! The staff are lovely and had a nice cup of coffee from the cafe inside a water tank (wow!) definitely the future of charity shops!
