While I had an initial bad experience and was treated poorly by a staff member, Jose. The manager, Bob called an made me feel heard. He was very respectful and helped me with my complaints. He also explained the costs in detail and took the time to make me feel supported. He also explained how my experience will be better next time. Therefore. I am changing my previous response and recommend this service center.
I've heard many horror stories of going to the car dealership and I am so happy to share that my experience was incredible. Mike Robinson was my dealer and he was knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, honest, and overall is an awesome guy! He took the time to build rapport and to know more about me and what I was looking for. Everyone that we encountered at Ourisman Hyundai was friendly, funny, understanding and kind. To me personally, they were less "salesy" and more personable. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an upgrade. I left with a BEAUTIFUL 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid the same night. I drove all morning from North Carolina. When I arrived the car was pulled up front, fully cleaned and ready with a full tank of gas. Nick was my salesman. He made sure my mom, nephew and I were able to get home ok and safe. He was absolutely professional with a caring touch. The finance and car protection department was the best and polite. Best car buying experience all around.
This is the second botched maintenance visit to this dealership. I will not return.
I *love* my Sonata hybrid, and the Hyundai brand. Will almost certainly buy a Hyundai for my next car. I am not a complainer by nature, and pretty understanding and easy-going but my recent experiences have been unacceptable.
After an earlier visit where the oil pan was left loose, and this visit, where my car sat for 2+ days and I had to call them to get any status updates at all, the final result was the problem not being fixed. I will not return to this dealership for service.
Update 4 days later: I am raising my earlier review. Christine on the service team reached out to me. Her professionalism was exemplary, and what I have come to expect from 5 years bringing my business to this dealership and brand. She was very open about their team's struggles with staffing, shortages, and service demand as we come out of COVID. This is my line of business, so I get it. Christine was honest, open, and treated my frustrations with empathy. She was proactive in suggesting ways to make things right and win back my family's trust and business.
This dealership had what I see as a temporary situation, and my recent service experience was unlike the previous years. But they were honest about it and did their best to make up for it. Disappointing service bobble got them one star from me. Their recovery was a five-star effort. No doubt.
Four days ago, I bought a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe from Ourisman dealership. This was a very smooth and best car buying experience from beginning to end. Everyone was very polite, professional and friendly. Especially our salesman, Glen Jones, who was extremely genuine, professional and helpful. His knowledge of the vehicles, options and approach to the buying process was outstanding. He went above and beyond for us and tried to help as much as possible. I walked out happily and appreciate the great customer service that I received. I highly recommend you to check this place and see Glen Jones before you buy a car.
We were very pleased with the professionalism of Nick at Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel, where we bought our 2021 Palisade. He was very helpful in every question we had and I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking to buy a car. His knowledge was beyond helpful and the purchase went very smoothly.
The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because of the salesman I was originally speaking with via email, he was extremely nice and helpful.
There was a big miscommunication, a huge problem with this place. So apparently there are two separate buildings, one for new cars and one for used cars, no one directed us in that area for used cars. Secondly the website said they open at 9 AM, and we were in the new car area and no one arrived until about 9:10 AM, the service section was open and we asked them when did the sales associates arrive and they did not even have a definitive answer for us. So basically we went in looking for used car specifically one that I was looking into online. So there was a miscommunication about who I was supposed to see for the used cars and they started arguing 15 feet away from us, not even trying to be discreet about it or not even trying to hide it. Then they continue to argue outside, and then when one of them came back in the sales associate next to us was asking him what was wrong and she kept pointing at us and looking at us like we can t see or hear ANYTHING. Come to find out the entire hour that we were there, The vehicle have been in the service waiting for a new ENGINE. Why is the vehicle on the website if it s not ready to be looked at? I specifically asked if the vehicle is ready to be looked at an answer I got was the yes. This place is definitely not professional and the communication is definitely under par.

Nick Cutlip is thee Man! My husband and I have purchased from this dealership at least 4 times now and each time, we never left disappointed. We consider Ourisman our family and Nick is now our adopted brother. His customer service and his ability to go all out for his customers is none like I ever seen. Anyone who even talks about getting anew car, we always recommend Nick at Ourisman. I would be lying if I say, I am done with buying cars but you never know what the future holds But trust and believe This will be the place we go if we ever decide to buy or trade in a vehicle.
