I liked their service. Friendly staff all the way. Clean rooms and great cleaning service. Bathrooms were also clean. I would say the rooms are a very decent size we stayed in the first floor and it was very quiet. Their breakfast was very delicious and loved their variety of food and drinks. They had cereal, three hit dishes, yogurt with home made jams, veggies, coffee, orange juice, bread and variety of sweets. Better than most hotels I have stayed around the world. Quiet area. Close by Grand Pazar, Hagia Sophia museum, variety of restaurants, and Blue Masque, along with other attractions within walking distance. Would stay here again no doubt. Not sure why some complain but we loved it. I think one of the best for me and my husband.

Everything about this hotel was pretty good. Clean room and hot water. The breakfast was bland, no elevator and the staff is kind of rude. The location is unbeatable though. Litteraly right next door to the tourist areas such as the Hagia Sophia.

I stayed there for five nights, the reception was unfriendly and nervous. The last day I stayed, I wanted to wash my hands in the bathroom of the room and I did not find water in the bathroom. Fit for families and the elderly
Do not repeat the stay

I had a lovely stay at the Ottoman Imperial. The hotel is located in a quiet side street right next to the Hagia Sophia and across the street from the Basilica Cistern. It is also right by the T1 tram line that connects the old city of More

Super friendly staff, all have a smile on their face. City, museum and beach are only a few meters from the hotel. Breakfast offers a lot of choice and tastes great.
The midday offers are also recommended! :) always my pleasure

An inexpensive hotel where you shouldn't have too high expectations, the atmosphere, the design and the surroundings make it all. Breakfast was pretty good. The ladies go out of their way to keep the rooms clean and are very friendly. You can get help for excursions and prices at the reception.

I've bin a lot of high class hotel's around the world but this is one of the best hotels I've ever been.

The location is in the middle of everything and being an guest of this hotel opens a lot of doors in Istanbul.

We booked two rooms for two nights. We chose standard rooms.
Breakfast: very poor (my advice rather have breakfast outside in the neighborhood you have nice restaurants.
Little diverse and Turkish tea was in a machine.
Rooms: clean and neat. Air conditioning works fine, bed was very good.
Location: perfect, is in the side street of aya sophia museum.
We had a lot of problems with taxis, supposedly they can't find it. My advice come by public transport. Metro is 10 min walking distance.
Next time I will come but book without breakfast and book a deluxe room.

My mother and I stayed there for almost a week. The location was excelent behind Hagia Sofia very near from Sultanamet. The hotel was clean and the people there made us feel at home especially Rustem bay. I fully recommend this hotel that is in the heart of Istanbul. The location is excellent which with tranquility you can walk to all the historical places since it is very central.

Cozy hotel and an excellent location. You have to be careful in the type of room to choose because they vary greatly from one type to another. We found ourselves with a small and uncomfortable room that did not meet our expectations, but upon communicating, the hotel staff endeavored to successfully repair our complaint, after which the entire stay was pleasant and correct. I would not mind staying at this hotel again.
Many thanks to staff of Ottoman Hotel for your attention !!

Very friendly staff, very clean, awesome breakfast great centric location of this historic hotel. Beautiful restaurant. They even have the chair and table that Pope Francis use when he visited Istanbul. I visit it on winter season and they even provide me with a nice blanket as a souvenir to keep.

Location cannot be beat! Amazing views, seconds to the heart of the citt, tram and transportation. Rooms are on the small side with paper thin walls. I was able to hear a simple conversation and snoring from the next room. Service and staff were nice and attentive. If you plan on visiting the city, you can purchase Istanbul card from front desk. That allows you to take different transportation around.

When we arrived we were totally happy, the receptionist was friendly and said hey you can get an upgrade to a better room, it doesn't cost anything, BUT the room was really not good. Blood on the curtains window does not give up because the closet was in front, only rtl 2 as a German channel, moldy shower, moldy walls, very noisy right next to the pull-out really not a shame really

An unbeatable situation, clean and very comfortable, very friendly staff, the room well except that they gave me the gable, and in the bathroom I had to bend down to the mirror, the bed very comfortable. You have Sofia in front, 10 steps away. All very close and quiet area. I would go back, but another room.

Most wonderful with a great view and easy access to the Hagia Sofia, blue mosque, Topkapi palace and old market. The rooms were nice and clean albeit a little bit small. The access is off the toad so you may have to drag the luggage through the uphill side walk. Breakfast was included for us which was very nice. They have their signature tea blends which are a treat.

The hotel is in a fantastic location to visit Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi with the Grand Bazar a 15 minute walk or a 2 stops on the tram. The hotel itself is nice and functional, bed was comfortable. We stayed in the annex side which let in quite a bit of noise from the street but it didn't bother us too much. The TV is a bit rubbish and there is some low quality finished in the hotel, far from 5 star. The breakfast was quite disappointing with only 2 hot dishes and not really much variety. Overall a decent stay.

Ottoman is an excellent place firstly because of its location. It s located right next to the Hagia Sophia mosque which is a tourist attraction. Blue mosque, topkapi palace are at walking distance. Tram station is just next to the hotel. Connectivity is superb. Staff at the hotel is also good. Food quality is very nice. Overall a very nice place to live.

The location is in a quiet place, just off the Sultan Ahammet station. It's a very convenient place to go anywhere.
It was a very luxurious inn for this trip, but it was more normal than I expected. The furniture was very fashionable with a Turkish arrangement. The room was large enough to spread two barely carry.

It seems to be a famous restaurant at night, so I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet, but this trip was not enough. The number of items was small, and the fruits were astringent and not delicious. The taste is also normal.

The only good thing was that there were more drink bars than other hotels. I want you to do your best for breakfast.

Firstly, the good points. The staff are almost all impeccably polite, friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Without them, the stay would have been one star less. Also, the location is excellent, with most of the main historical attractions within walking distance or a short tram ride away. Unfortunately, however, the hotel is let down by the fact that the walls are paper thin, and everything around and above you (if you're not on the top floor) can be heard. Guests walking about, slamming doors, staff walking around or cleaning etc, it's all far too noisy. I ended up barely sleeping, which meant far less energy to enjoy everything else Istanbul has to offer, which is plenty. The breakfast buffet is nothing to scream and shout about either, but it's passable.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, historic building transformed into a hotel. Located a few steps away from Agia Sophia, it is very clean, beautifully decorated, great service and one of Istanbul's best restaurants on site. The daily breakfast buffet is delicious. We highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning to Istanbul again too.
