This is an amazing theater right in Downtown LA. Even though it looks much bigger on TV during drag race. However everything feels Grand and Awesome. And it can compete with most NYC Broadway Theaters as well.
This place was great I love the old style of this venue.
Like if your here for the movies that where shoot here.
The best of old downtown. Check out Broadway bar next door if you get there early or as you leave.
Balcony seats are terrible. There is no legroom. Your knees touches the back of the seat in front of you. Everyone your row has to stand up and move out for a person to get to their seat.
Clean and easy to get around with nice and accommodating staff. The sound may not be the greatest for music concerts but I found it such a pleasant and easy experience there
Best theatre I've ever been to. Wurlitzer organ, triple and double features and always an amazing lineup. Everyone in person from Sid Haig spider baby and Pam Grier Coffey to Patty Duke and valley of the dolls. The singalongs are fun and its an easy Bart and muni stop away. Check out the sliders next door.
Amazing venue. Lots of history, still comfortable and classy
The Orpheum Theatre is one of the filming locations of the film "Last Action Hero" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Such a beautiful theatre, very similar to what you would see on Broadway. The seating isn't the most comfortable, but you aren't there for that
I did not try parking at one of the garages nearby, so I can't speak to that. It was a quick Uber ride for me though, with drop off around the corner.
Beautifully restored venue, good sound and lights, friendly staff
Good sound although the few shows I have seen there are super loud. Parking around in any direction.
I went there for a church conference and it was clean, beautiful and love that the city has kept its historical look.
Have seem many great concerts here. Some great memories have been made here!!!
Stunning theater. Great size and space. Was there for a work conference. The color and decor inside was stunning. A definite must visit space. Comfortable seating.
I saw "Set It Off" it was great!!! Kyla Pratt, Da Brat, LaToya Luckett and Janeen (from house of Payne). They acted the hell out those parts. Really glad I got a chance to see.
the theater was set up on the occasion of the Pornhub Awards of which we were nominated and invited so we lived it in all aspects and environments. The lounge and entrance halls are well-kept and have two parking spaces right next to the hall. Fifth area and dressing rooms are well cleaned and have ample space for all production settings. The bar area is also well structured and well served.
Food was delicious. Theaters is beautiful. Staff was kind and professional.
Woman at "will call" window was aggressively rude. Not sure why she felt the need to make such a snarky ordeal out of giving me my tickets. Maybe her life sucks so she wants mine to as well. Theater is beautiful, she is a carbuncle on its behind.
I just thank God for the joy of giving me one more day to live and enjoy the weather of this beautiful morning. greetings and blessings.happy and blessed weekend.
Beautiful theatre, authentic experience. Could use a few improvements to help people get around.
This theater is really cool. It's got a lot of history to it. Love it! It's cozy.
An opulent theater which has been restored to its bygone era magnificence. It is such a wonder to see my favorite artists perform there. My only knock is that balcony seating is excruciatingly cramped if you are over six feet two.
One of my favorite venues in L.A. It is a larger theater that maintains a sense of intimacy, and great old Hollywood Regency style. Recommended!
Very large place pretty clean and great sound quality.
Great entertainment here. Lots of concerts, big name entertainers. Food and drinks available here. Friendly staff. Paid parking only.
Loved playing in this wonderful and historic theater
Excellent food at this place. The theater has a vintage feel. No matter where you sit, you can see the performance well, as long as everyone stays seated!
Greek Style Theater, I suggest you get balcony seats, it's a great view from up there anywhere cause it smaller than you'd expect.
Came here for Hillsong Church. It was a beautiful venue and beautiful service.
Went there for Hillsong church... Very very nice and clean theater.
Really neat historical venue, staff we're great for entry and seating, mid sized and great for personalish shows, parking nearby, and a good sized patio for fresh air.
You have to give this cinema house a try! The movie in this theater was breathtaking and awesome. I felt very relaxed and nice every time I watched a movie about this movie, so why? Since their service was good and it was comfortable in their place. It was the ideal movie theater for a family who would like to watch movies. Fantastic facilities and highly recommended!
UP FRONT. WAS GREAT. THE BALCONY FOLKS LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING FUN.
I beautiful old theatre, with carved wooden aisle ends and ornate ceiling decoration.. an intimate viewing experience for anything you're watching on stage
I like the decoration of the place but the Seating chairs was so tight uncomfortable if you have show for 1 hour
Recently saw Elvis Costello and a Christmas play at the Opheum. Easy location on State Street.
It's a great venue. I would think anything here would be worth seeing.
First time there to watch Boz Scaggs and was very impressed, architecture of theater is beautiful, staff is professional and polite, general area is going through rehabilitation, and I saw no vagrants on the street. I will definitely go back to the Orpheum Theatre !
The Orpheum theatre beats all the Hollywood theatres in beauty and size. This fully renovated movie palace is more spectacular than ever. A must see for tourists visiting Los Angeles.
Beautiful old theatre. If you get a chance it is worth the visit
Had a great experience at my first time to the venue. Great bar areas and enjoyed the classic architecture and style of the theater. Saw The National perform and enjoyed the sound quality and the lighting. Will definitely be back for another show!
The theater is gorgeous and there is no bad seat. There is plenty of parking in the area. I parked at a lot at 9th and Hill that was $10 for the night I went (a Wednesday). The theater served alcohol (I'm not sure if this varies based on the event) and you could take it into the theater. There are lots of great restaurants in walking distance, and the theater is handicap accessible.
Very nice theater! Got to see the Trailer Park Boys here and it was fantastic. Easy to find parking and it was adorable.
Absolutely beautiful inside and I felt so close to the stage even on the balcony.
