WILL NOT RECEIVE ON WEEKENDS
Make you wait intill it's your app time even if no one's on docks..
The receiver (Derik) simply scoffed at the drivers, they brought the goods first, said you would come at the appointed time, and when they arrived at the appointed time, it simply ignores me, pretending to not notice me. Finally, deal with such employees why other drivers should suffer because of them. And so we don t get home for weeks, And he is sitting here to mock me.
I delivered a load of frozen A-day early and it took them about 5 minutes to give me unloaded this place is freaking awesome Thank you so much fellows
Had an appointment for 10am and they took me in at 6am! Done really quickly! Even the new hired dude was cool. He told me straight up he is new and will a minute. Total 20 minutes in and out! Keep it up r remembered in the trucking families prayers
Most of these reviews are from truck drivers. Here's one from an employee. The place suffers from many issues. 1) half the crew is illegal. 2) they don't treat employees with respect, using terms such as "boy" when referring to black people. 3) The HR department is just looking for reasons to fire people. I was written up for offering someone easter cookies during the mandatory overtime we had during easter. 4) I was actually asked by them once if I was interested in someone I worked with, I said "no I am married. who is it so I can avoid them" and they refused to tell me, I found out anyway but they kept assigning us to work together. Other fun parts include work hours that would kill an Olympic athelete (retorts start out at 62 hours a week) and there is no union and no concept of giving people raises. People that work there ten years make the same money as the new hire.
Very fast unloading cold unit. Pleasent staff. Thanks
Terrible benefits, terrible, depressed people, nasty lunch rooms and bathrooms, Disrepectful supervisors....I wouldn't suggest it.
Its a cool job most of the people or good people. It drives me too come too work because of all the people we are working too help.from disaster relief. Military. Babys .coffee lovers and more just too name a few. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.
Wasn t a horrible place to work. I didn t really care for the manning bs. I like having a steady schedule but other than that wasn t too horrible just didn t care for my temp agency
Frustrated people working here, 6+ hours to unload. Come on your own risk.
First come first serve even you have a appointment very nice man
1400 appointment. Checked in @ 1330, and immediately got door and unloaded full load of frozen in less than 30 minutes, bills signed and delivered to my door. WOW! Super nice receiver. 5 stars! Great place!
There's a bitter with life older guy that's a forklift operator with missing teeth to the back where freight is received.. Mike I think his name was.. I felt sorry for him during our talk.. he's a racist..and I hope he gets help with that!! I was trying to get human resources for his section but I'm guessing they don't return or answer calls. Please fix him before he runs into someone thats not as cool as I was whilst dealing with him.
nice people, no overnight parking, 3 truck stops 2 miles away. checking in and unloading was quick.
Checked in at 6am (they open 6am)and I was out by 7am. By the way I was the 2nd truck on the line. Very quick unload. Also I was with a reefer load. Arrived 10pm and stayed overnight there. There is a place to park. Also 2 miles away are the few truck stops. Love s. Flying J, Pilot
Apparently appointments mean less to these guys. Only one dock for loading and unloading. It's been idle but am told they have some guys coming for pick up. Am told am next, next, 30 mins, another 30 mins, another 30 mins....... and no semi parking..
This is where work at proud to be making the food for the military
Very nice place nice people. The guy he helped me , his name is Brandon Gale, what a nice guy. Came at night slept over and in the morning I was unloaded and bills signed in 30 mins( full load truck). Keep up the good work.
Thank you Brandon and the crew
I HAVE WORKED FOR AMERIQUAL 15 YEARS AND STILL LOVE WHAT I DO. AND AS A SINGLE MOTHER, I ALSO HAVE MY HOUSE PAID FOR THANKS TO ALL THE OVER TIME.
Have you p/u #'s ready and arrive on your appt time.
Very rude staff , 8 hours for unloading. Wrost place
Josh in receiving is amazing! He was SO helpful. Thank you for all you guys do!
I was told the very last minute that they had nowhere to put me on first shift and I was sent home. I wish they would of said something before I was even interviewed or scheduled to work, and these people even said that they needed people before.
Unloading didn't. Take too long...plenty of space....i dont think you can park overnite but you can trye....oh..and its on volkman st
Doing Medical screening this week, everyone is behaving
This is for my husband, Michael Neale. I want to thank Andrew Wargel & the kettle leads, John & Randy for helping me become a better batcher & kettle operator. Also, I enjoyed working with my co-worker's. And finally, I would like to thank Jim O'Risky, who inspired me to look beyond the wall's of Ameriqual to hwy 41, where the grass is much greener. Sincerely, Michael Neale
Apparently this is first come first serve, regardless if you have an appointment. I arrived at 7:30 a.m. for an 8 appointment, it's 11 a.m. and I'm still waiting on a door. Dry van seems to get in and out pretty quickly, reefer not so much...UPDATE. Went back to see what the hold up was and was informed they had all gone to lunch and I would 'just have to wait'.
After 3 hours in dock they told me that the load will not be ready just next day
Really professional place
For the drivers, I found it easier to park on the street you turn on and walk to the shipping and recieving office. However I understand many of you are afraid to walk. Make certain to have the FD # somewhere on your paperwork or phone, it will make it go very quickly.
Easy in, easy out... My company pulls refrigerator containers out of this place.
Arrived at 6:02 AM, receiving door, unloaded 6:40AM. Very nice people.
> Floor staff are incompetent, disrespectful, and suffer from megalomania
> The work is good, however they are melodramatic if you make a mistake because you are new - so expect for them to talk behind your back and be fake to your face.
> Mostly working 6 days a week, so don't expect to have a decent amount of free time.
> Depressing atmosphere filled with tension - and workers often yell at each other over trivialities.
> I myself, was personally harassed by one of the supervisors.
The pay is decent, and the benefits are too - and the company itself does a lot of relief work for things such as individuals suffering from a natural disaster ( Ex: Assisting in relief operations for hurricane Matthew victims ) but if you're looking for a place to work where you're going to have a smooth integration into their ranks - you can forget it. They will either not care or be extremely disrespectful towards you.
PS: HR/Upper Administrative ranks are pretty cool, down to earth people. It's really the floor staff you're going to have a load of issues with. ( Supervisors, Leads...Etc. )
I have worked their for 15 years that should say something for its self!
Derick the person who unloads the trucks is highly unprofessional and vulgar. Very impatient and disrespectful to tired drivers that have been driving all night
Hi, if you are going here, you must have an apt. Do not come early because they will not take you. I WILL NOT ENJOY PEOPLE here, they work on the receiver.
