A beautifully done restoration of a great old movie palace. This Broadway gem is a great place to see an event. It is worth it to park a block away, just for the quick exit you will get rather than using the lot next door. Make sure to get there a little early to see all the amazing touches that the theater has.
Historic beautiful theater in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Super friendly staff. Everyone does a great job. Comfortable seats in an old classic theater. Always welcome the opportunity to see a stage show here

Permanent ear drum damage from a G3 concert here. I will never go back. My girlfriend had to leave a $125 show and I ended up leaving shortly thereafter DUE TO HEARING DAMAGE occurring from a clearly NON TESTED SOUND. Every venue I have ever been at clearly uses decibel meters in the audience sections at every 10 rows. NOT THE ORPHEUM... THIS WAS WITH EAR PLUGS rated to reduce sound by 35 decibles... Everyone there was complaining about the sound at the end. I have no idea how they survived it without burst ear drums. SO IRRESPONSIBLE of this venue not to sound test with decibel meters.
This is a beautiful old art deco theater on Broadway in downtown L.A. A wonderful place to see a concert. No bad seats on the ground floor but better toward the center (as always). The front of the balcony is also great. A bit of an echo further up. The staff here are friendly and not aggressive as in some venues. The only complaint I have is the small bathrooms in the upper level. Much better in the basement. Another great concert!

Beautifully restored 1926 vaudeville theater with great sightlines and acoustics. Loved it!
This is a beautifully restored theater, almost 100 years old. Seats are newer and comfortable, although leg room is a bit snug. Saw a classic Hitchcock film, visited the Orpheum Club where you can enjoy a bite, a drink, a bit of company. Parking is nearby in various lots or on the street.
Took my mom to see Adrian Uribe and Consuelo Duval, what a gorgeous place but the security guards were a little too strict, we were told not to take our phones out or they would have to take them away... I paid hundreds for this early Christmas present for my mom and see these two amazing actors just to be told this? That s not how it should be, but it is what it is....
Staff was friendly, theater is well maintained overall. Several parking lots nearby ($15-$20 for the evening) as well as restaurants. Just save lots of extra time for traffic. Being downtown does mean that it might take 20 mins to go 2 blocks.
Classic old school theatre. Dramatic and grand.. seating positions.. not so Grand. Very tight and stiff

A beautiful space! Saw Buster Keaton's Steamboat Bill Junior silent film with live organ accompaniment as part of the LA Conservancy's Last Remaining Seat program -- really excellent!
Easy to find parking and restaurants nearby. The theater is spotless. I have been to several concerts here and its been a great experience every time.

A very nice classical looking theater with early 20th century architecture. It doesn't look outstanding from the outside but inside it is beautiful.
Was very impressed at the sound quality. If you are looking for concert ticket, I would strongly suggest Mezzanine level of available, seats were still quite close and upstairs away from the general crowd. The upstairs bar stays pretty quiet as well.

My boyfriend and I went to the Orpheum Theatre to see Chris Cornell sing an amazing set in 2011. The theatre is gorgeous and the sound was clear. It s one of my favorite antique style (Beaux Arts) theaters in LA.
A classic theater with good acoustics. Seats are a bit tight but the cushions are comfy.
It was a very beautiful place very clean and the whole experience was GREAT.
Small theatre. Interior is pretty, bit not much room to walk around. The bars are very small. The sound was good, but not as good as The Honda Center.

Nice deco theater. Arrive early to be seated upstairs while lights still on. No rail while walking in dark up steep stairs a caution. Tight seats. Good sound and fun. Parking near by.
This venue is beautiful, but the seats are very close together. You feel like you are on an airplane. The parking is next door and it is cash only, so be prepared or you will have to drive around the block looking for an ATM. It was $10. The venue was very nice and clean. We sat in the balcony and had an excellent view. There were also balcony seats on each side that only seat a few people in each section. I don't know if those seats are available to the public or if those are family and friends seats only, but if you could get those seats I think they would be the best because you would not be so close to so many people. I would imagine they're probably more expensive though.
Beautiful restoration. Seats are to small and there's no leg room. Everyone should follow the Vista Theater's example.
Such a big and beautiful theater! I sat near the front of the stage on the lower level and the lighting, sound, space, and building itself were just fantastic. Very clean and well kept. I enjoyed my time there.

Gorgeous theater with beautiful detailed design. Getting to downtown can be a hassle at certain times, but there's plenty of street parking and after 7 it's free.
