The tube from the arrival to the main building is finished with a Disney feeling like the picture, so even if you don't like it, the tension will rise.
Since I arrived at night on a flight from Chicago, it wasn't particularly crowded, so I went to the Disney Neighbor Hotel after filling my stomach in a place like a food court.
I moved using Uber.
Uber and lyft users have a dedicated area, so have them pick up there.
It's quite busy there, so it may be a little difficult to find a car that will pick you up.

Drove 3 hours to pick up a family member and MCO has 8 flights of baggage coming to the same pick up belt. Utterly ridiculous. No staff present and hundreds of passengers pushing to get their backs. Not to mention we need to drive 3 hours back home once we FINALLY get the suitcase; so far we have been her 45 minutes waiting for it.

My granddaughter is traveling to Cleveland, Ohio on 1/7/16. She is traveling with an infant of 9 months and a 24 month old. I inquired for transport service for her to the Gate for her and the small children along with the carry on, diaper bag, and purse. Unfortunately, Orlando Int'l airport is one of the busiest airports in the USA but has the least of conveniences for travelers. The "people mover" sidewalk is being removed, there is no electric vehicles allowed to the Gate and the restaurant choices are extremely limited. How can such a busy airport be so antiquated in offering services especially for parent traveling with small children or people who could use the break from walking and use the People moving sidewalk. I dread when I have to travel via Orlando Int'l.

Immigration officials and customs were efficient and courteous. It took more than 40 minutes to get the bags from customs to the terminal. It is the second time this happens to me in the past two weeks. Coincidence or inefficiency?

Grand & beautiful, but for non frequent fliers I wish they had greeter's at every post. We had a very hard time locating places, barely made the flight. But when we did, the lady closing the door from us outsiders realized I was still wearing my grand daughters back pack. What a relief that she did.

This is a large international airport that sees its fair amount of delayed flights and cancellations. However, MCO has plenty of positives for travelers.

As an Orlando resident, I have flown in and out of MCO quite often. This airport is spread out, which sometimes makes for longer walks to the gate. Security isn't too bad; about average for airports serving the same volume to travelers. The restrooms are expansive and kept very clean. Signs make it easy to find flight numbers and departing/arriving flights. It is also easy to claim your checked bag. There are plenty of airport workers to assist the handicapped travelers and those needing assistance. The airport is modern for the most part.

I have to give MCO four stars due to their lack of food options. All restaurants and counters close at 10:30pm most nights. If you are catching a late evening flight, grabbing a meal at the airport is not an option. Please plan accordingly.

I would have to try very hard to design an airport layout as awful as MCO. Very little signage, I saw maybe 1 or 2 employees in my hour walk around. Mixed information and ended up getting picked up by a sign that said designated taxi loading area even though an employee swore the loading area was on the first floor??? Not to mention the sheer disorganization leads to people going ALL OVER THE PLACE. I seriously don't have a single good thing to say about any of my experiences at MCO.

I had the misfortune to pick up my grandson at MCO on November 19 2018 at 8:00 PM. After a short wait in the Cell Parking Lot and receiving the proper phone notice that he was at baggage claim. We left the Cell Phone Lot and about half way through we found ourselves in a major traffic jam. It took 50 minutes to pick up my grandson. We feel that it caused by the fact that Terminal B was closed. There were no vehicles getting off at Terminal B. Very poor traffic management at this airport.

My grandma was coming from the Caribbean and had to stop at this airport on her way back to Michigan. Turns out the INSIDE of her suitcase is broken, along with a couple souvenirs, and when she was getting her carry on checked she was forced to throw away a souvenir.

This is an older busy main international flight hub for Orlando attractions. There are stores and a good selection of restaurants. Offers a commuter train to shuttle arrivals to the main terminal. The main entry area to Security is quite unique. #LetsGuide #Disney #Orlando

Literally the longest lines for securiry I have ever experienced. Definitely plan to arrive early because of the wait times. Seems as if there weren't enough employees to accommodate the amount of travelers.

Is it ever good? No social distancing on lines for checking in. They should have marks on the floors. Bathrooms don't have enough soap machines or papertowels so you always have to get into someone's space. All the seats are still open (none crossed off) so while waiting to board everyone sits right next to each other. They do have hand sanitizer stations around. Besides everyone in masks and some restaurants still closed, it is as if Covid isn't here. I'm not sure why everyone else has to social distance but airports don't.

This airport really isn't so bad! Very easy to navigate in and out of which is so nice. I thought it would be an airport nightmare from all the Disney tourists but it actually was a pleasant experience.

Longest security lines in any airport I've ever been in, from check in to the TSA security points. You would think that with Disney World right there, that the airport would be more prepared for the mass amount of numbers. I learned a lesson, to fly in and out of ANY other airport.

If you're passing through MCO, you're probably on your way to any of the myriad theme parks, conferences, or other events held perpetually in the greater Orlando area. This airport seems to be overrun by Mouseketeers, but staff are friendly and facilities are generally clean and orderly.

Watch out for the TSA agent with the gray chin length hair. She decided today was the day to not run the xray machine and threatened to walk off until she had more people working her line. That lovely display was ridiculously unprofessional and caused such a delay that multiple people lost their plane seat. Due to her Karentantrum, people were forced into different and delayed flight plans.

Security needs to be trained and properly informed...

Security needs to be trained and properly informed on how to handle transgender issues. I was held up because they did not know how to handle the situation appropriately. After explaining my FULL situation to the first officer, not only did a supervisor inform that I needed to remove items, which is completely illegal - As posted in The National Center for Transgender Equality - "Travelers should never be required to lift, remove, or raise an article of clothing to reveal a prosthetic item and should not be asked to remove it. This applies to binding items, breast forms, and other prosthetics. If a TSA officer asks you to reveal a prosthetic item, ask to speak to a supervisor and calmly explain the situation. " - This was asked of me by the third supervisor who was apparently higher up in ranking, to which I AGAIN informed him of my full situation and what the item was. After being "screened" by 2 other officers and being asked to remove the item and stated that if I did not then they would not clear me to fly. Only then it was when I asked for female that I was again screened and allow to fly. The female officers were professional and understanding and that is why I give it a 2 star. Over all TSA in this airport needs to be trained and informed. The 3 male officers I dealt with which were all different rankings were ignorant, unprofessional and overall completely inappropriate. Even the fact that I had to repeatedly explain my situation to each officer that stepped into the private screening room shows there is a lot of work that needs to be done in each ranking.

MCO wins the prize for dirtiest airport I ve traveled through (Chicago moved to second place). It is no wonder that many of the employees appear disgruntled and unmotivated to do anything when they work in what must appear to be an insurmountably filthy place.

both on arrival, as well as departure days later, the airport is great. the arrival was comfortable and calm, returning the car to the departure was the simplest and most practical thing that I remember, and at customs the treatment was excellent.

Passengers on my Virgin Atlantic flight from London had to queue for more than 2 hours at Orlando airport to get to the passport control desk, this on top of a 9 hour transatlantic flight. The queuing area was so hot and humid that families with young children had passed out on the floor along the route. It felt more like a aid queue at a refugee camp than the border of a developed country.

Waiting for 20 minutes in same spot. No reason for this. Columbus Ohio airport was a million times better than this. Why so crappy screening? Took 10 min in Columbus and it was packed. Needs fixed or no Disney World

I m giving an awful review to one area specifically. A woman by the name of VINA standing outside of American Airlines Terminal B check in was the rudest person I ve ever met. Literally made me feel like a piece of trash and had me running for the bathroom in tears. This woman came up to me asking if we needed help. When I pulled out my paper to make sure we were in the right place she cut me off when she realized I personally wasn t flying (we were dropping off a friend. I was there to help him get to the right place and carry some of his bags) she directed him to his line but then when I turned back to her to ask if this is where he checks his bag or is he going to have to walk further with all his stuff she again interrupted before I could even ask my question stating he can speak for himself I ve never been so insulted. My only intent behind asking her my question was to see if we can get a cart to help him carry all his things if this wasn t where he was checking his bags. (Keep in mind we had gone to two different areas before finding the right one. Which in fact was never confirmed because she was too rude to even confirm that.) WARNING! WATCH OUT FOR VINA! She ll bite your head off.
