Trust and believe the reviews!!! If your one of those people that want to give it the benefit of the doubt then I promise you will regret it. You ll have a more beneficial experience by applying for fast food restaurants! I went in for my first interview, the guy sped through the whole thing didn t even ask me if I had any questions and avoided any type of questions about salary, benefits, job description, ect. Pathetic. Me like a dummy said ok Ive got nothing to loose so I went in for the second interview to shadow someone I thought it was going to be a cool experience. I waited about an hour and there had to be at least 30 people that came in for an interview. Pathetic! We were all bunched in a small office.

Once the guy gets there he takes me down stairs and asks me questions about myself to make me feel comfortable! He takes me to his car and tells me let s grab coffee but the dunkin is 10 mins away. I stopped and told him it was sketchy because there was literally one across the street! Momma didn t raise no fool ! He then pulled over and I told him to be straight up with me. Which he still didn t do. So I let him explain to me how the organization was set up and he went through this whole chain trying to spit numbers at me! But like I said I m not an idiot I knew what he was getting to. Used fancy words performance at least 20 times. Which is short for saying you don t get paid unless you make a sale. Should ve just kept it straight up.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! They should honestly be straight up with people instead of making you come back and forth and continue wasting your time. The only thing I liked was that the receptionist was cute that s about it! This company is pathetic and not trustworthy at all. Don t be like me and waste your time coming here. They ll only sell u a dream

This place is very unprofessional. What a waste of time. My interview was for 11:30 and I waited for 45 minutes still no one had the courtesy to come and tell me that the interview will be happening soon. I told the front desk lady and she said someone should be with me shortly. No one knows what there doing at this company. You walk into a room full of 20 people waiting to be interviewed. It's a scam. Do not apply here at all!

Don't be fooled and hoodwinked into even stepping foot in this place for an interview. This whole "organization" is just a glamoured up pyramid scheme. You are first baited by them when they post a wide range of positions from customer service representative to marketing manager and describe the job how it should be, but after you go there for your interview and pass their first round (everyone passes) and be asked to be there for round 2 there you will find out this is nothing more than just a sales job and you will be asked to jump from crappy neighborhood to crappy neighborhood trying to sell Verizon services to stores. There is no base salary and you will only get paid when a sale is made and the service gets set-up. No reimbursement for traveling expenses whatsoever. All the positive reviews are fake and come from them. Do yourselves a favor: read this review and stay away from this place. Just a waste of time and money.

50 Parts slave labor .. 50 parts Nigerian scam!!!!...

50 Parts slave labor .. 50 parts Nigerian scam!!!!!!!... i would give zero stars but i wouldn't be allowed to post this review if i did..

If you are a naive college student, a foreigner from another country, a convicted criminal, or a high school dropout with no formal job skills and no basic knowledge of current wage and labor laws that are designed to protect you from low level capitalists whose primary purpose is the exploitation of potential workers of this type , then this position is for you!!!!.

Whenever a company who uses current workers as a front for advertising its 3rd party services by stating, yet not proving on record that they are a fortune 500 company, and stating the unverified and false successes of other workers by which you haven't had the opportunity to experience or investigate for yourself, with the expectation that you believe it just because they said it, then its a red flag!!!!...its a scam!!!!...

Whenever they promote a "Performance based" motto as a means of getting ahead and making money in a company without so much as taking in consideration the amount of expenses that a worker must sacrifice with no compensation, which includes NO PAID TRAINING, No REIMBURSEMENT FOR GAS, TOLLS, CARFARE, FOOD, and MANDATORY 10 HOUR SHIFTS DAILY including weekends and under a job listing that advertises a salary but are purposely not clear as to what you will actually be doing and under "THE HARDER YOU WORK, THE MORE YOU WILL BE CLOSER TO MAKING SOME MONEY that we will in no way, shape or form give you based on your own personal sacrifices, which is by all argument, SOLICITATION, coupled with the fact that THIS ORA GROUP company will bypass all current labor laws protecting its workers from such practices, then YES, THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM>>>>>>......

If you apply for a position for a company that does not do background checks, Reference checks, puts out an offer of compensation on paper, or doesn't so much as look at your application in order to grasp your level of experience in order to determine if your a good fit for that slave position, then ITS A RED FLAG....!!!

I'm sure this is not the first time that this pyramid scheme of a company probably had to change names repeatedly in order to dodge lawsuits and bad reputations.

One would think in this current age of exploited capitalism under our current administration that a so called Black owned company would be the last culture of the oppressed to adopt a system of capitalism that would in no way, shape, or form, benefit his culture. or the future of it...unless he is ashamed of or could care less about his own culture under the premise that capitalism will not affect him as a black man..

Anytime a company makes promises to its workers a position that puts you amongst the echelons of upper management within a short amount of time without taking in consideration that in order to be an effective manager, it would take years of experience that not just entails exploiting naive workers by any means necessary, but being knowledgeable in knowing how to effectively address challenges and concerns with your staff, fellow workers and customers alike and proposing solutions to address them, and not concluding that just because something does not or is not working that its the fault of the worker for "NOT WORKING HARDER".

Think smarter people, if you have to put in countless amount of hours and labor with no compensation for those sacrifices you put in for companies that exploit you for their own greedy purposes, then you might as well go in business for yourself...at least if at the end of the day, you make no money , then you have no one to blame but you.

This company is now known as "HEI," don't know if they just changed their name, but it's a scam. It is a door to door salesman scheme pretending to be a legitmate business with great oppurtunities. MLM bs and empty promises, don't waste your time with an interview

Come for the false promises of "becoming an upper level executive," stay for the sheer incompetence!

If these people reach out to you about "meeting their CEO," he is a 22 year old college dropout with no leadership skills to speak of, so you'd be better off interviewing to be an upper-middle class lady's coffee table.

If you breathe, eat, sleep, and defecate, you meet their qualifications and they'd more than love to hire you and/or pay you just enough for you to buy firewood and a barrel to burn it in to heat the dumpster you'll have to live in.

Oh, and FYI, all of the positive reviews are either complete morons or the staff making fake accounts to drown out the flak.

Nobody with more than two brain cells and one shred of self respect would work here.

I got an email saying that I qualified for 2 positions. They said they got my resume from my school as I am a recent graduate. I went to the interview in New Jersey, it's in this sketchy building and the office is in disrepair. They didnt say what the positions were. There were also like 20 other people waiting. They double and triple and quadruple booked everyone, so while my interview was at 12 someone finally saw me at 1:20pm. There were also vastly different age ranges, from like 19 to 60 in the waiting room for what I assume is the same position. I go in and they say it's for a manager position that you work your way up to but dont go into specifics. Anyway I make it to the second interview which is supposed to be shadowing, and they tell me it's door to door. Not really my thing, but I need a job so I try to make it work and see what it is about. She and a guy drive me TOWNS OVER to Oradell and start doing it. The woman,Sally, already seems bossy and mean in her interactions with her coworkers. Sally tells me she doesnt think I'd be a good fit, tells me that if I agree to let her know, that it would be ok. I agree with her that the door to door thing isnt my cup of tea. They drive to a train station in this far away town to dump me, dont even offer to pay for the ticket, because apparently since the interview is over they cant be decent human beings and not abandon someone from Brooklyn in a random new jersey town hours away. Sally is in front of me when the train conductor says that the train will be here in an hour. So it's going to take me 3 or 4 hours to get back, and I wasted money and time. Dont bother with Ora, find a real place that doesnt seem sketchy and whose staff dont abandon you in a random town.

Only apply here if you are for focused on your goals and are looking for progression.

This is hands down the worst company ever. I run a restaurant in Jersey City, and they always try to come into our establishment and use it as their networking meeting. Very Un-Professional. Have the decency to call and schedule a time to use our space. Pay to rent the area. They just like to come in with about 30 of them. Most of them new hires and not knowing what they are signing up for. The leaders of the group like to demand things, and tell us how things are done. I personally have kicked them out several times. Tonight, I was not there, and they tried to boss my staff around. Unfortunately for them, I have a great staff and they know exactly who this group is. We refuse to serve them. Tonight, they decided to throw our menus and silverware all over the floor because we told them to leave. Very Classy from an organization that misinform their new hires. The best, is that they think they are slick and that we do not know who they are. Sorry, we have been here for over 3 years now. It's the same 6-8 people scamming a bunch of new hires that are hoping to make something of themselves. If you are reading this in research of an upcoming interview with them, I suggest don't bother. They are worthless, and have no decency for the people that work for them and the community. I personally, can not wait to see them again. I want to look at those two managers straight in the face and see what they have to say to me. I was not there tonight, but I am writing this to put their group on notice. Your a sham, and it's sad that you are trying to do what you are doing.

Read my review then go to this interview if you really think you'll want to go. So the first interview anyone can pass it. They say to dress business casual but I didn't and still got through the first interview. During that interview to "CEO" describes what ora group is. Ora group is those people that come to your house that say if you have Verizon FIOS and would like an upgrade. They say I'll lower the cost if you qualify. But surely everybody qualifies it's basically a scam. The second interview the make you shadow them for THE WHOLE DAY and make you take notes. They take you to a place you don't recognize and leave you there if you don't have the qualifying needs. So I was stranded there my whole day and you have to find your own way home. Oh yeah you can't use your phone the whole day you're there. An interview takes about 30mins/ 1hr tops, but 9 hrs no thanks. Wouldn't you want to go back the same way you came to the place? It's not a marketing companies IT'S A SCAM it's like those IRS people calling you and taking money for you. Don't do it if you like SCAMING people's money.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, I worked here for two weeks and I was supposed to be in training but
The only thing they teach you is how to SCAM people the made me drive my personal vehicle and Ezpass with no reimbursement, I even sold Verizon Fios to two businesses in my first week and when the time came to get my commission the gave me the runaround, asking for paperwork that they never have give me and saying that the installations got cancel. Giving you misleading information on how can you grow in the company.

The best opportunity I've ever had with a career, and my life.
The interview process was, thankfully, very quick and professional. All of my questions got answered immediately and with no hesitation and I was very impressed with the intense professionalism of everyone in the office. I was given a position here and it has been the best opportunity of my life. Not only are my coworkers intelligent and motivated, they are incredibly fun and helpful. Whenever I have a question I can ask anyone in the office, or I can speak directly to my managers and even the CEO, and get specific advice. No vague blanket statements or unhelpful criticism. The managers will tell you exactly what to do and how to do it to make sure that you are doing the best that you can. Everyone in this office is self motivated, but they also make sure that everyone else is positive and excited for the next day. Everyone here wants to make sure that, along with themselves, everyone has the best opportunity that they can. I have never in my life worked in such an amazing office and career field, and I plan to stay until I decide to retire.

Honestly the best place to work at , the managers are extremely helpful , they'll promote people out of hard work not who's been here longer . It's an open discussing place which means if you never have an idea or a question you can speak with the managers and they'll sit and talk to you until the question is answered. I LOVE IT HERE!

THIS IS A SALES JOB! Anything they tell you otherwise is UNTRUE! Sales IS NOT MARKETING!
This process was dishonest and sleazy! They emailed me on Indeed saying they found my resume. I thought I'd give it a try. Before coming in, I inquired several times about the salary and was told there was and given a range although I had the feeling the person was sidestepping my questions. After waiting over an hour past the time I came in to be seen in a packed lobby with club music blaring, I met with someone for 5 minutes who spoke fast and discouraged any questions I had. I came back for the second interview (I was told only 5 would be selected but 6 of the other people that waited over an hour with me were there as well) and met with one of their employees. This is when I was immediately taken downstairs and led into a car to "see how they do things".
I want to be clear: I came for an interview and was led into a stranger's car with people I did not know. I was told we would go to "visit" customers but instead was dropped off in the middle of a city to sell Verizon door-to-door to businesses. I don't know why reviews below are distinguishing whether this is door to door or to businesses, because the point either way is you're expected to be out in the heat or cold or rain or snow 6 days a week for 10 hours a day going to all kinds of strange areas.
The salary I was told about on the phone was never discussed and when I brought it up the interviewer looked clueless. He told me the job was 100% commission with no benefits, and they don't even provide gas, toll, or car money for all the traveling you're expected to do. There is "wanting something for nothing" as is mentioned in other reviews (it seems like the company posted these) and then there is being taken clear advantage of. So if I don't make a sale, I LOSE money for a day's work because of all the traveling you have to do. Ridiculous.
I'd stay away from this place. It seems like they'll say what they have to and act all nice on the phone to lure you into whatever type of dishonest operation is being run here

This is an Incredible job opportunity. The only people that have negative things to say about the company are only the people that don t have what it takes to make it through the company s training program. If this organization was a Scam, Fortune 500 companies wouldn t be working with us. Super fun environment and a lot to learn and by the end of it you can make an incredibly good income!

I should have read all of the reviews before even ...

I should have read all of the reviews before even thinking about applying. I drove 40 minutes with my hopes up high, excited for this job just to than leave disappointed and angry after a 2 minute interview. I applied for HR Assistant, they sent me a email stating how I am a great fit although I do not have experience and will like to have a in person interview. First, when I got there I walked in to about 15 other people waiting to get interviewed as well and people continued to walk in, you were able to tell that everyone was confused whether or not they were at the right place (they didn't even have the suite number on the door so you couldn't really tell where you were walking into, you had to ask). My appointment was at 1pm and did not get seen until 1:50-2pm for them to tell me I will be getting paid $300-400 weekly and if I want to get paid more I would have to make over 100 calls a day and have 20 or more people come in (SALES). The interview had nothing to do with the position I applied for. It was all a waste of time. Not to mention, if you are driving and do not drive in Jersey City you have to pay either $6 for parking for every 1/2 an hour or $10 a day (unless you do street parking and pay meter) than gas and toll. It is not worth it at all! You will be basically working to pay gas, toll and parking oh, and don't forget if you buy lunch. I seen each and every person walk out upset, even others huffing and puffing as we all had to wait to be called one by one. I think they should be more honest about these positions and foremost, be more organized and prepared not have 15-30 people come in all at the same time and have them waiting like if they were at a doctors office. Half of the people were sitting while the others were standing even in the hallway being, the office is really small. It was very unprofessional and not a good look what's so ever. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone unless your desperate, really like dealing with sales and you are willing to work for commission. They have a lot of working to do themselves before thinking about hiring new candidates for these fake positions they are posting. It makes you question, who is to blame? the Manager, the whole company or the person in charge of posting these positions and making appointments to have these in person interviews? ORA Group it self has to read the reviews and make some changes. I hope this helps.
