Always a unique experience for the bar staff totally incompetent and excessively slow in service despite the high costs

Unfortunately no operas were played during our stay, but we profited to do the tour inside the opera hall and the wonderful museum. A must see

The whole story of the most beautiful music lives there!

The Skala Museum is very good, with clothes, photos and portraits of artists who passed by and left their mark.

Is on a street .. looks pretty nondescript. At 4:00 p.m. guided tours can be done in English. Quiet for tours etc. Are quite salted. But if you like guided tours you can invest the money.

Jewel of Milan, but I prefer the Teatro San Carlo in Naples

One of the most famous theaters in the world. Beautiful inside, with perfect acoustics. Extensive program of operas, ballets and concerts. Expensive tickets, especially for the audience, but the quality is paid.

It is always a poetic experience to attend a show at the scale. In addition to the pleasure of the muaica I seem to be catapulted back in time, the place that is unchanged, even though it has been renewed, makes me rethink all the generations that have follow in this place. Suggestive really.

A magical theater, splendid acoustics, beautiful experience, kind and friendly staff!

Disappointing on the outside. Impossible for the middle class. It is not worth walking half a kilometer if you are not going to enter.

To visit!! before purchasing the ticket, check that there are no tests in progress. If there are, skip the visit and come back later.

Excellent theater !! Worth visiting! Especially for everyone involved in the history of music and art. A theater with more history than a facade, although it is not the largest or most luxurious theater in the world, but it is the most important of the great musical periods and through which unmatched artists have passed! 100% recommended!!

Beautiful theater, fair fares 9 /adult and free for children up to 12 years old. Try to come when rehearsals are on. Interesting film about the history of the place. Nice exhibition at the gallery.

From outside it doesn't seem so special but when you enter it you go into another world

Just the most amazing opera house!! A must on anyone s itinerary when in Milan. But it is very expensive to go to a performance and it is booked up months in advance. There are often ticket price reductions 24 hours before a performance and further reduction on the day of the performance. There is a small but interesting museum and you get to look into the auditorium from the upper levels.

Top tip: tickets for rehearsals are very good value if you want to savour the experience of going to La Scala Milan without forking our for full priced performance seats.

The Teatro alla Scala, often referred to informally as "La Scala", is the main opera house in Milan. It took its name from the church of Santa Maria alla Scala, demolished to make way for the new Regio Ducal Teatro alla Scala opened August 3, 1778, under then reign of Maria Theresa of Austria, with Europe recognized composed for the opportunity by Antonio Salieri.

Starting from the year of its foundation it is the seat of the homonymous choir, the orchestra, the corps de Ballo, and since 1982 also the Filarmonica. The theater complex is located in the square of the same name, flanked by the Ricordi Casino, now home to the Scala Theater Museum.

There is not much to say, it is perhaps the most beautiful opera theater in the world. Maybe it's just the last places at the top that have limited visibility, but for the price they cost, you have to settle for it. All the rest is Italian excellence at the highest levels. Good taste, quality, experience. To visit at least once in a lifetime. There are also guided tours, but the atmosphere and the magic of a representation are irreplaceable.

Most famous opera house in the world. Too bad I couldn't get in, the interior must be beautiful.
