Its a great experience. Ofcourse expensive but there is a student option which is writing your name on the list in the morning (the exact concert day) and after a big que before the concert you get in.

Bad view from the side stages. Italian theaters no longer have a sense of existence. Here, unfortunately, you enter to take a selfie in the audience and admire the pomp of the building, not what happens on the stage. In addition, rude and arrogant staff.

Exciting. Always nice to go back. Beautiful theater that can be easily reached on foot from the metro stops "duomo (line 1 or 3)" or "monte napoleone (line 3)". Tickets with good visibility have important prices so it is better to go during the "open staircase" days or book in the galleries.

The theater is very beautiful, if you like music this place you will love for everything it saves.

The museum rooms are wonderful, the furniture, the wall wallpaper are beautiful. In the museum you can see props, scores, porcelain and more objects that keep the history of this theater built on a church.

The Teatro alla Scala, colloquially known as La Scala, is the main opera house in Milan. Considered among the most prestigious theaters in the world, for 243 years it has hosted the main artists in the international field of opera, ballet and classical music.

The building, designed by Giuseppe Piermarini and inaugurated in 1778, was built on the ashes of the previous Teatro Ducale, which was destroyed by a fire in 1776; owes its name to the church of Santa Maria alla Scala, demolished to make way for the New Regio Ducal Teatro alla Scala inaugurated on 3 August 1778, under the then reign of Maria Theresa of Austria, with Europe recognized as composed for the occasion by Antonio Salieri.

Since its foundation it has been the seat of the homonymous choir, orchestra, ballet corps, [6] and since 1982 also of the Philharmonic. The theater complex is located in the homonymous square, flanked by the Casino Ricordi, seat of the La Scala Theater Museum.

The Theater is really impressive and beautiful. The visit really worth, I just don't recommend the third and fourth rows at the third floor because you barely can see the concert, we watched standing up.

the theater par excellence: I have been there many times, both for the opera and for concerts: depending on the position with respect to the scene, the experience changes a lot (the too-side stages offer poor visibility), but it is enough to choose well and appreciate music and voice!

The charm of a place of other times, with an important history, and which has seen many illustrious characters and artists. Were it not for that, boxes and gallery are really uncomfortable.

Beautiful theater with wonderful history. You don't get an extensive tour, only access to a few suites with a view of the theater but there is a very nice museum and a free app with an audio tour.

The atmosphere is magical, I am attending a ballet, the performers are champions (Bolle / Zakharova), choreography and costumes that live up to expectations, the exemption from music flawless despite the difficulty of the songs.
Despite being towards the bottom of the stalls, the view is optimal and then let's face it: the Scala always has its charm.

A must-experience when in Milan! Even though sometimes it seems hard to get and buy tickets for the spectacular shows, La Scala opens its doors occasionally, offering discounted tickets (from 5-6eur) for the shows and rehearsals! I enjoyed watching the children ballet section, as they performed with a passion and dedication of experienced professionals. Inside, La Scala is much more beautiful than how it may seem from the outside. During the breaks, you can enjoy aperitif in the wonderful hall of the third floor!
