Opera Hotel Lviv, Panorama restaurant Review

How often is it in Lviv - lucky or not lucky) Why is it difficult to organize a service in such a way that it makes you feel that you are in a good restaurant and not in the experimental kitchen of some TV show? We first visited this restart 7 years ago. I read the magazine and saw a confident glowing Chef holding stylish desserts against a beautiful white interior. When they arrived, they put us at a worse table, where they blew from the window, and with some disgust they brought food. I liked the food and serving then, though not 100%. A year later, our partner from another country arrived, and we came to Panorama again - at that moment nothing was better in Lviv. Further on, the robotic waiters work and the food is unforgettable. I forgot about Panorama. However, as a business meeting - again there)) Center, quiet, quiet music. There is often almost no one there, so now you can choose a good table and talk. The kitchen did not impress me, and the desserts are very mediocre. Cocktails are unfortunately also primitive.

Refined and delicious, excellent service, prices are justified (above average in Lviv). Ideal place for a date, romantic panorama of the theater and the avenue.

I do not judge the hotel, but the restaurant itself. The broth we ordered is water without taste. The second dish is much better. However, I only give stars, because a waiter contributed to this, who had us in a deep respect. Approach to the customer against other restaurants in Lviv hopeless. Maybe he had a bad day?

We looked for accommodation options in the center of Liviv, but the pictures of the hotels in the center were not very painful. The panorama was quite different with the hotel photos. So we were worried about not being right. The hotel decor, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the breakfast was very very good when we arrived. We reached the hotel early in the morning at 6pm although check in was at 14.00. Since it was very close to the city center, we were able to return to rest and rest. The room was well suited to spend time.

Very nice hotel. Right in the center of Lviv my wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible. Great service, delicious breakfast, and a very beautiful room. I would highly recommend this hotel anyone that is looking for a world class hotel in this great city! Thanks for making our stay great!!!!

Best hotel in the town in my opinion And also the stuff knows English well

We have been at the terrace for some cocktails and enjoyed the view above the city. Cocktails were in fair quality, but the view is definitely worth to go.

4 star hotel with unfortunately all too many weaknesses

Breakfast is a buffet. Great breakfast! The view is super! Everything is delicious. Music, rugs, very nice and cozy. Only the price is incomprehensible, first they say 150, then 200, in the end it turns out 150.

The location is perfect. The rooms were clean and convenient. Lviv is already beautiful to discuss. I wouldn't recommend you to use the shuttle service from the hotel to the airport only because the prices are too high. 2 minutes walk you can go to the airport by bus at 80 for the price of one.

Nice modern fresh hotel in the heart of the city, just next to the Opera House. Real silence within the rooms, plus great meals variety rooftop breakfast just makes your day bright and full of energy

The first impression was a small room. But given that the hotel is more than 5 years old, and at that time may not have made large rooms, it is convenient! A hotel with really the best view from the restaurant where breakfast is served and also where you can just sit at any time.
Rooms are standard 20 sq.m., plus or minus like similar rooms in similar hotels.
The suite is very decent, large, overlooking the Opera House.
All rooms are clean, tidy, upon arrival a set of gel, shampoo, slippers, bathrobes, a cloth for shoes.
No toothbrushes.
The hotel has no parking, or rather, it is, on Furmanskaya street, just along the road near the curb. If it is free.
Breakfasts, as of 01/05/2021, are not a buffet, now you need to choose from the three proposed options.
The food is tasty, medium sized portion.
Food is served in portions, coffee / tea is not limited.
The hotel staff corresponds to the level, they try to solve all the questions.
The restaurant asked for lactose-free milk, offered soy milk, which is also fine. Thank you very much.
Perhaps there are a couple of hotels that are not lower than the level, but no one has such a panoramic restaurant as in Panorama.
Actually, this is the main argument for choosing this hotel.

Grate view from the terrace. Ultra expensive place. In my opinion it doesn't worth to eat there. I tasted chicken soup that cost 70uah.

Good:
- very tasty food
- good location and nice view on terrace

Bad:
- We ordered beer from cask and it had specific tainted small of wooden barrel. we asked to replace it and instead of just saying "sorry" and replacing it, waiter started arguing (which was very hard since we had professional sommelier with us) and saying that 3 folks from kitchen "tried" this beer and it is ok for them. So gross. Finally she replaced it with bottled beer, but we got it included in check at the end...
- quite pricey for Lviv

I liked the hotel very much. Modern, clean. The staff are helpful and pleasant.
It is located in the very center of Lviv, which is both a plus and a minus, since it is within easy reach of any point, but in the minus - noisy from the street.

They waited a very long time for the order, portions of mini in huge plates. Chicken legs, one with blood, the second smelly. The atmosphere is for everybody. Personally, I didn t like it. Not tasty food as for me.

Truth be told it isn t worth it. The view isn t as impressive as you were led to believe, at night you can only see the side of the opera house, not the front where it is beautiful. They are very lacking in the mix drink area. The food is mediocre

We used the restaurant located on the highest level of the hotel. Professional service, tasty food. And beautiful views from the windows. There is also a place for cigar connoisseurs that can be bought on site. I would recommend!

I stayed here for three days in mid October 2016. I paid about $65 USD per night including all the taxes and fees. It is a lovely hotel right across the street from the Lviv Opera House and within walking distance of many sights of interest to a tourist in Old Town and surrounding areas. The hotel is historic, but the rooms and public spaces have been remodeled keeping it's old time charm intact. The furnishings are new and the mattresses are good. The bathroom and shower facilities are good. It has free wifi. A buffet style breakfast is available everyday for an extra cost - well worth it. The hotel has an elevator and the staff is friendly and helpful. THE BEST PART IS THE VIEW. MY ROOM OVERLOOKED THE LVIV OPERA HOUSE. THE RESTAURANT ON THE TOP FLOOR HAS A GREAT VIEW OF IT TOO.

Assessment of the Panorama restaurant. Always very tasty, never disappointed. I like the service too. I don't think it's worth talking about the panorama that you will see from the window of this establishment.

The number was standard. The shower cabin was broken, there were no toothbrushes, there was a smell of cigarettes and full cakes in a bowl on a balcony.

Stunning view of the Lviv Opera from the Junior Suite on the 4th floor. Spacious room, very warm. Once left no foot towels. The panorama from the rooftop restaurant is simply mesmerizing. Good breakfasts. Olin had dinner, everything was very tasty cooked. The only husband took the borsch, said 3 ku. The hotel has no parking, this is a minus, but we parked nearby on a public. All the sights are within walking distance. Will definitely be back.

Serving size and taste of dishes do not match the price. We are not greedy or poor, but in the Dnieper for this price you can eat better and better. But the view is wonderful. There is a room for IQOS

Clean rooms and trained staff. Parking can be a problem, because there is no parking in the hotel, and you need to go to another parking lot. Magnificent views of the suites and a very convenient location of the hotel.

We rested with the family and we liked it. Friendly staff, cozy and clean rooms, delicious breakfasts. Location - perfect.

A place with a beautiful view, places by the glass were offered to us without any reservation.
Very friendly and professional service treated our palates with phenomenal desserts and drinks. Blackcurrant lemonade, lavender creme brulee and pear in red wine with vanilla ice cream are especially recommended.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The service was very good, mostly friendly staff. The amenities were nice. Used the gym 2 times, decent for small hotel, nice equipment. WiFi worked well except a few hours in conference room. As we really needed it for our work, that was frustrating. After 3-4 hours, they were able to get it working. Appreciated that. The view from the restaurant on the 7th floor was great: for breakfast (options limited) and a few dinners. The food was very good, excellent quality and presentation! As I ate either alone or with colleagues each morning, the sun shone on us as we looked over Lviv, and it s beautiful ancient plaza in front of the opera house. The hotel has an amazing location in the city as well. Would definitely stay there again and recommend highly to others.

If you evaluate it according to the criteria: interior, service, food, prices, then we can say the following:
- the interior and the view from the window are quite interesting, you will look at the opera house and the square in front of it from the seventh floor, which is pretty beautiful, set to 9/10;
- frankly, I didn t really like the food. The portions are small and the meat they cook is not particularly tasty. Rating 5/10;
- Prices are very high. To sit together and eat, you need to pay at least 1000 hryvnias, because after this restaurant you will go to another one to eat normally . Rating 3/10;
- the service is good, but a table needs to be booked in advance, since from 17 o clock all tables are precisely reserved. We put 8/10

The final rating of the institution for ordinary tourists is 6/10 (maybe it s even overpriced ), but if you go in to drink tea and take a picture, even students can afford it

The restaurant at roof of the building has high prices( pay attention that you willing to pay the amount they charge . BTW: you can find plenty of other restrunt at the center with more quality and less prices

A calm and peaceful environment. Soft you can have a pleasant meal in the presence of music and wine. As of name, the Opera building and the square are looking from above. Salmon has been prepared successfully.

Great hotel in a great location. Right in the heart of Lviv with everything on your doorstep. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast room on the top floor was a lovely way to start the day overlooking Lviv
