The view is spectacular, ease of ordering from table with qr code, staff were sensational a real standout was a lady named Ellen, helpful polite and passionate about her job. Drinks are fairly priced considering location. Highly recommend

Its a great spot for a drink and for some expensive but okay food but the seagulls will drive you crazy. They WILL steal your food so opt for the undercover areas for some shelter. Saying this, the view is spectacular from this location so it should be on your to-do list!

I have been twice to Sydney. Last time 3 years ago. What a fabulous place. Best in the world. Loved the Opera bar to bits. Wish i lived out there. Bar full of happy people. You have the sun. The bridge and loads of things to do. What a place to be. I miss it loads and always will.

The perfect place to start your first night in Sydney! Stunning, panoramic views of both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Great for cocktails and desserts, there is often live music too, so certainly a romantic choice for out of towners Contemporary interior and if you can score a table beside the water, you are in heaven! The atmosphere is good, pizza, spaghetti, fish and chips, and beer are delicious. But watch out for seagulls. I walk on the table. I think you should put the wire mesh on the plate and eat it. We were in a parasol seat, but more than 10 seagulls came in a group, so we bite a lot... and they gave us a little bit of what we couldn't eat. Only then the wire netting hehe

The water down to Opera Bar was amazing I'm a Sydney Sider and in 27yrs of my life had never been it was so beautiful sun was out everyone buzzing around great atmosphere. Then the food came out OMG the fish and chip we're best I've ever eaten if I could give this day 100 stars I would.

Disappointing experience for such an amazing location. I m not sure if management has changed recently but the service has deteriorated significantly since we were last here.

Very limited menu choices with no alterations allowed. The food was ok for a suburban cafe but certainly not what you d expect at Circular Quay and the 30 minute wait for food screams disorganised or disinterested staff. Coffee was mediocre at best.

My main gripe is with the staff. They either hate their job or the cafe owners because they re attitude, lack of service and disgusting behaviour is what has made us black ban this cafe for future visits to Sydney.

Great atmosphere on a Friday after work and definitely a great lookout with the Sydney Opera House and the harbour in the background. Service was a bit slow and difficult which is the reason for the reduced star.

Yep.

We went there just before a show at the Opera and it was a good experience. The drinks were as good (Jimmy Chew was amazing!) as we expected with the price, not very big though. Besides, be aware that you have to come very early to hope getting a seat.

Impeccable security manager 'Greg' and his team are excellent. They diffused a situation with a few loud boofheads that were creating a bad vibe.
Security demonstrated 1st class style and took care of the situation before it escalated and made sure other patrons were being looked after... great safe place for a drink with unrivalled views, And a real example of how a place should be run

As a Sydneysider, I would only recommend this place to a tourist or those looking for a great location to hang out with their mates.

The location is perfect, plenty of photo opportunities of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. If you go on a Saturday at around 9 pm, you will get a bonus firework display.

The food is overpriced and honestly not that outstanding. However, it is decent nevertheless. Tables fill up pretty quickly, so either arrives super early or pre-book. As for the service, I found it faster to just order yourself instead of waiting for a waiter.

I had 2 drinks over the course of 2 hours and was refused service afterwards. I had even already eaten $ 20 calamari from their menu. I don't understand how a bar can refuse people service when they have been sitting at the bar for 2 hours drinking very responsibly and eating as well. The only reason I don't give 1 star is because some of the staff were very friendly. I wouldn't advise mingling with them though as it seems that being friendly is a sign of intoxication that warrants refusal of service. Real shame.

I had 2 drinks in 2 hours and after I was refused service. I had even eaten $ 20 of squid from their menu. I don't understand how a bar can refuse service to people when they are sitting at the bar for 2 hours drinking very responsible and eating too. The only reason I don't give 1 star - some of the staff were very friendly. I would not advise to mix with them because it seems that being friendly is a sign of intoxication which justifies a refusal of service. Never mind.

The best bar in Sydney for the most fantastic views of the Harbour. Make sure to get there early and grab a table in the shade. On a hot day you ll be cooled off by a cool mist sprayed every couple of minutes, very cool indeed! I recommend the seafood platter which is super fresh and delicious and there s plenty of beer and wine available to top it off. A must go-to for visitors and locals
