In 2004, as office manager for Limestone Building Block Co Pty Ltd, I commissioned 1IT to write software to manage inventory and sales for the Company. The system went live on 1 July 2005. I was extremely happy with the system as it allowed me to have complete control of sales. I could instantly see activities in remote locations as well as onsite. I had access to inbuilt reports as well as the ability to write my own reports. We now don't have to enter everything individually, we can copy and paste and it gets us through our tasks so much quicker, although it's not just the inputting, the whole set up is so much quicker.

Initial contact was great while I showed David my software he was very confident. I Paid my $5000+ Scoping fee (I already have and use software I developed on a different platform which I wanted copied to an open source) then it all went down hill from there. They are unusual in that they don't sneer at small projects (say a few thousand dollars). Others I have spoken to try to find out your budget first and if you're under $50k lose interest. One IT also have a very solid scoping process that gives one confidence about what you're going to get for your investment (right down to building you a prototype).
