The hotel is beautiful! The room we stayed in was very clean, quiet, comfortable. There was a big window in the room with a spectacular view of the city. Very pretty at night. I will definitely stay here again!

My experience at the Omni was warm and welcoming. Although the property is undergoing renovations it did not take away from the comfort and hospitality of the staff. I would recommend the Omni at Colonnades. It s close proximity to good dining and shopping is a plus.

The front desk check-in process was great. The room itself was nice, but the entire night our room reeked of marijuana and the college kids at the pool screaming for hours into the night made the visit less than enjoyable. I probably won't return.

Awesome! We booked two nights at the Omni as part of a Sea World package, and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. Yes, the decor of the rooms is a little dated, but they are very clean, and comfortable rooms. The staff is magnificent, very pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was included with our package, it was wonderful; fresh ingredients, made-to-order omelets, and tons of fresh fruit. Our eight-year-old loved watching the kid-centric movie that was playing outside at the pool, and for the wife and I, we enjoyed the hot tub and poolside refreshments.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting San Antonio, and we will definitely be choosing the Omni again in the future.

The base boards in front of the window are the vinyl type. It fell down and I stepped on the nail that s supposed to hold it up. Figured hey, things happen. So, took a couple pictures and went to the front desk on our way out and let them know. They said it would be taken care of. Unfortunately it wasn t. Was the exact same when we came back to the hotel a little after midnight. So, told them the next morning and a hour later they sent some one up. He didn t re nail/ staple it back, he sprayed it with a spray adhesive. Was a horrendous smell. Glad we only had to tolerate it for a short period of time before we checked out.

The service of course was amazing and the amenities. My only complaint is the comfort of the bed. Although my husband is point out to me that everyone has their own Comfort level and it's hard to please everyone I would still have to say I did not have a comfortable rest.

Went for Thanksgiving buffet. Worst buffet I've been to. Meat was dry, they started picking up food 5 minutes after we were seated. Then our wait staff disappeared, we had to find our waiter at least 5 times. They were more concerned with breaking down and eating themselves, than waiting on the people who paid $50 per person to eat. We had 9 in our group. Will never go back.

Nice hotel in an ideal centralized location near the commercial corridor on the NW side of San Antonio. Close to some great food options and right next to the highway. Only 10-15 minutes from downtown.

Very nice place. Some of the staff was friendly. The shuttle bus is very very late. I guess you get what you pay for. The cable kept going out on some stations and the lobby, meeting rooms, and hotel room were extremely hot. People bought personal fans to cool off.

I have family in San Antonio and have used this hotel twice in the past 6 months. I choose this hotel over others because I have young children and travel alone. I always feel safe here. Also, the pool is nice as they have an indoor and outdoor pool.

We love the Omni. They are well cared for hotels that offer very good service. The rooms are comfortable and clean. This hotel is located just far enough outside of the main area of San Antonio without being too far out. It was a very nice stay and we would stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio

Sister got married there and was told she'd have a bridal suite in which she and her bridesmaids would be able to get ready in. Upon arrival, they did not have a room for her and ended up putting her in an empty meeting room that was not suitable for that purpose. Luckily there was a restroom down the hall but that became a little obnoxious after a while. At the dinner, however, the staff was very friendly and the manager was great at communicating with me to ensure the bride and groom were happy with everything.

The room isn't as impressive as you might expect, given how nice the downstairs area is, but great service, great extras, and great people made my overnight stay more like a mini vacation!

CON

Room:
*Poor lighting - lamps instead of overhead lighting so it's hard to work anywhere but at the desk and difficult to use the entry mirror
*Dated/dreary- due to dark decor + poor lighting. Makes room feel small despite comfortably fitting 2 queen beds, desk, TV cabinet, and oversized chair
*Retrofitted fire sprinkler via slightly-lowered ceiling in the entry.
*No fridge/microwave
*Only one nightstand (between beds) = nowhere to plug your phone / set your glasses if you're on the outside
*View was of ugly flat roof

Bathroom:
*Small - maybe 12-in. on either side of toilet to maneuver (pic)
*No fan - open door to vent
*No place to hang towels. Art over the toilet so clean towels are on a stand beneath the sink next to the toilet (questionably sanitary and less accessible)

General:
*WiFi is $10 ($15 for high-speed) unless you sign up for rewards program (tradeoff = junk mail)
*Breakfast option add $20 (typical of hotels with full-service restaurants). Note: fab breakfast (see below)
*Ugly-colored/patterned carpeting

PRO
General:
+Airport shuttle +Bellhop (tip)
+Infused water in lobby
+4-5 elevators
+Indoor pool (heavy chlorine) + hot tub (pool towels)
+Outdoor lap pool + Free dry sauna
+Fitness center (pics). Enter through pool area
+On-site massage/spa options
+Airy, well-lit vaulted lobby
+Large open, comfy lounge w/bar
+Gift shop with treats for all and everything from otc medications, insect repellant and sunscreen to hairspray, deodorant, and more.
+Ballrooms and 2nd floor conference rooms
+Bolo's restaurant inside (wasn't open at lunch time and we ate dinner out)
+Complimentary newspapers in lobby and near elevators

Room:
+Localized floor plan (~20 rooms in a figure 8 around the elevator hallway)
+Joined rooms option via lockable exterior landing area.
+Hair dryer, iron and board (spray starch available for a small fee), and a bath robe.
+Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are all a generous size
+Option to delay your checkout until 4pm for an additional $50 (otherwise checkout ends at noon)
+Key drop box on your way out

Omni restaurant breakfast (not Bolos, see pics):
*Note: Buffet is $19.95 each ($9 for kids) without the inclusive room package
+The hostess, Mimi (manager?)= AMAZING! Super helpful making sure our visit was perfect. Even brought me tea to go, including miniature honey jars!
+Elegant western motif (full-sized fake topiary mustang, tumbleweeds in Iron balconies, framed images of cowboys, and the occasional horseshoe-derived detail), without being cheezy.
+Buffet includes sausages, potatoes, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy (vegetarian option), Eggs Benedict, pancakes, "danishes," muffins (delicious), bagels, toast (variety of jellies + Nutella for topping). Omelet station, cereal station (low-fat granola, too), hot cereal (oatmeal) station, fruit station (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, and off-season watermelon), and yogurt (sucralose-sweetened and Greek options). Request hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream and a pretty sprinkle on top !
+The salsa! So many are all heat and little flavor but this one was the opposite - mild enough to pile it on and so flavorful you'll want to!

Lobby and facilities are nice. Rooms smell a touch musty and are a bit dated, but very clean. Very nice hotel, but not what I would expect from an Omni. Staff is phenomenal Very efficient and helpful at every turn.

This Omni Hotel is fantastic. Grace was not only our waitress for breakfast but she also took care of us at the beverage/food area at the pool. She is wonderful. She even remembered our order from the last time we stayed at this Omni. All of the Staff and food at Bolo's restaurant is superb.

Was excited for my weekend stay here, but things were not as I expected. The beds were dirty and stained, valet experience was a mess giving me the wrong keys. The amenities for this type of hotel left me unimpressed. The only plus was the friendliness of the staff.
