I actually had an event at Bank of America. We had to park at the hotel. From what I saw it was gorgeous and they had curb service.
Hotel was difficult to find due to ongoing construction. Room was clean and nice. Street noise made it difficult to sleep.
I am writing this review as the windows of my room are shaking from music coming from somewhere. The music has gotten louder as the night has progressed and it is now after midnight. Not sure if this is a nightly occurrence or a special occasion, but either way stay away from this place if you require getting any sleep. If dancing instead of sleeping on your bed is your thing, you will love it.
A beautiful hotel and prime location in the heart of Uptown. Entire hotel was pristine and the service from each staff member was exceptional. The amenities such as the mini mall on ground floor and the multi story gym set this hotel above and beyond. This is our go to when we're traveling
They provided sound machine and ear plugs, we needed them. The coin bar was great.
The Omni hotel is close to many very nice restaurants and within walking distance of office space in downtown Charlotte. The staff is friendly and the rooms are modern and clean.
I paid a chunk of change to stay here for two nights during a recent weekend. From checkin to checkout there was not a single square foot unoccupied inside the large pool area. Not ideal if looking for a relaxing stay. Techno (I m a fan) was blasted until 10pm each night. Be aware that the pool has public access for $5 and the public wisely takes advantage of this. Wish I d have known this before I d booked my stay here.
Loved everything about this spot!! Will stay again.
Excellent service and location, all staff is very friendly
I m giving two stars as a gift because the staff was very polite/helpful and food was top notch. The rooms/meeting space were nice. But I was there for a meeting which required I wake up at 6am. The two nights I was there I slept less than 4 hours total for both nights. I stay in hotels 3-4 nights a week. I am used to average hotel noise but the noise from EpiCenter was so loud it shook the bed. Other attendees moved rooms and found it noisy for other reasons. It s a great location, the Starbucks and Walgreens are super convenient. Other hotels install noise reducing windows, I d suggest the Omni consider it. Lastly, I was packing up after conference and the mtg room staff were flippping the lights on/off while I was trying to finish and it slowed me down and was very rude (in contrast to staff previously). It delayed my leaving on time. Lastly, 5 STARS for the food. Elvira s risotto was spectacular and she took extra steps to ensure no cross-contamination for the ladies with shellfish allergies in front of me. Exceptional catering staff and all the food was amazing.
Excellent service and very friendly. The manager was very attentive and the staff followed suite. Any issues such as, outside noise, better lighting and shelving and racks in the bathroom are design related.
I rarely write reviews for hotel. But this time I got really frustrated with Omni. To me, this really has been the worst hotel ever. One star is given for it s convenient location. We came to Charlotte for work. So it s nice to stay near work. There are nice restaurants close to the hotel which is also good. But there are plenty of hotels in downtown area. So travelers have plenty of options.
THE ROOM WE STAYED IS TERRIBLE!!!! The air in the room is so filthy! I woke up several times at night feeling like I couldn t breath. Maybe I m too picky about the air quality. I don t how other people can tolerate the air in the room. Besides, facilities are really old. The coffee machine can hardly make any coffee. There s no convenient outlet for phone charge anywhere. And the gym is also old! Our room wasn t ready until 5pm and the gym close at 5pm on Sunday. So overall, lots of frustration staying at Omni. There are plenty of good hotels near Omni. Go anywhere but this one!
The rooms are not worth the price but the amenities are amazing, the view from the room was amazing and right in uptown is best for everything thats going on..
Beautiful hotel. Great service. Very comfortable beds!!
Convenient location, but not a very nice hotel especially given the price. Rooms were not very clean with older, broken trim and tub. Definitely don t stay in 2018 as there is a lot of construction.
Very friendly staff however my only qualm is that the hotel website gave an inaccurate description of the facilities. The actual hotel did not match up with the photos on the website. Instead of the beautiful hotel I thought this would be it looks sort of like a motel. Not very luxurious. Okay quality. Completely different than what was promised.
So far this is a great place. Customer service is 1000.
I had a great time at the omni, the room was nice, everything was clean, and the staff did a great job
Very important hotel in the heart of Charlotte, it's right downtown Charlotte this is where most of the athletes stayed during the NBA All-Star games in Charlotte this year it was an amazing experience to see that she even Shaquille O'Neal what's there it's an amazing place to be in a great location on the high end price
The room was great and the staff were incredibly inviting.
Nice place, but RIGHT DOWNTOWN! Parking $15 per day for guests even.
Good place and pets friendly in the center of everything.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Definitely recommend a stop in.
Friendly service super close to the convention center!
Great hotel with nice amenities. The parking is a bit confusing but it is a downtown location and parking is a premium. Overall the hotel stay was great.
Slept great and was nice and clean I will definatly be back....
Lovely room accommodations. Nice staff. Quick valet service. Attending a conference here. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants.
Very friendly
Best place I've ever stayed.
Great Hotel and staff. Right at the Epicenter and great walking around area.
FYI from late March to early September the Charlotte alive at 5 outdoor party on the rooftop bar facing the hotel BLARES music from 5pm until 2am (right into the rooms). I contacted the front desk at 10:45pm to see when this nonsense ends and was informed not until 2am. I'm here on business and need to sleep, that's unacceptable. I ask about other accommodations or switching rooms to which the concierge unapologetically informs me that the best they can do is send ear plugs to my room. Unacceptable. I'll be checking out early and won't be back.
I ve been coming here for a work conference for seven years. A new rooftop bar has now opened across the street and the rooms vibrate until two on weekends. I can t believe the city of Charlotte allows music this loud out doors. I won t come back. Not getting to sleep until two before a day of conference work is just not doable.
E.T.A: Taylor Warren, the manager on duty, took my complaints seriously and was absolutely accomating. The world would be a much better place if everyone had her grace and ability to problem solve. Kudos, Omni, for snagging her.
I had probably the worst room in the hotel (1031). The floor is on an angle. I spent part of the time walking uphill, and the other half walking downhill. Terrible room!!!
This is a very convenient hotel in Uptown Charlotte. It is within walking distance to so many fine dining establishments and nice bars as well as the more rowdy nightlife at Epicenter.
i believe the hotel is undergoing some renovation to the rooms which will be a nice enhancement.
The location is perfect if you love to party. I requested a king bed but was given a queen that folds out the wall.
it was alright I liked the coffee but the valet to forever..... just work on that it and it would b a perfect 5 stars
Upon checking into our luxury suite we were informed our room had already been booked and given a downgrade with only dining credit as recompense. It is also clear the hotel wants it's guests to only be able to eat from the dining menu as there is no fridge or microwave or ice machines. Other than these catches, a beautiful hotel and a comfortable atmosphere.
Great location in the heart of Charlotte. Everything is top notch.
Lack of communication to guests, Internet not working, overbooked and had to move me to a hotel not convenient to the conference for 1 day of my stay.
The rooms were wonderful, the bed very comfortable. It is indeed a very beautiful hotel.
Outstanding room and service by entire staff. Highly recommend.
I visited with my friend who was staying at the Omni recently. They're in the middle of renovations, which is probably a good thing for them. The rooms seemed super outdated. When I got there, the up escalator was out of order. Her room keys wouldn't work in the elevator (although that's a great security feature). They remagnetized the keys. We got to the room though, and I was seriously disappointed. It smelled incredibly musty and was a little cramped. She mentioned the smell and they relocated her to a much larger room on a higher floor which didn't smell. It had a great view of the Epicentre rooftop, but she said she could hear the music from the event there as well as what sounded like jackhammers from construction... at 11p on a Thursday. She did say the food from the hotel was good, but it stinks that bfast was not included in her room.
Truly an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed and appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The service was impeccable and with that southern charm! Jason our bartender was friendly, courteous and made us the best craft cocktails! Looking forward to our next trip!
Lots to be desired here. Under construction doesn't mean the rooms can be dirty. This is an Omni. Expect More
Club level is the way to go! Free drinks between 6p and 10p... cannot beat it with a stick!
Got the romance package and loved it. The room was on the corner of the 12th floor and had a view all the way around. One of the best rooms I have stayed in. Bed could have been better though.
Alarm to evacuate in the middle of the night, but did not receive an explanation as to why.
Staff went out of its way to make you feel welcome and to help with any needs. Concierge was particularly helpful. But the whole experience was very positive.
I attended a conference here and was quite impressed with the service and ambience. I will definitely both recommend consider Omni Charlotte for future bookings.
Hotel was just ok. Older bathrooms. They delivered us chocolate dipped strawberries and then came and took them back as it was the wrong room
The hotel wasn't anything special compared to other hotels in its price point. The location was good but getting outside felt a bit like being in a labyrinth. I wouldn't actively prioritize this hotel in the future, but I wouldn't be unhappy if I had to stay here again.
My husband and I wanted a quick get-a-way, so we drove to Charlotte, N.C. (we are residents of Columbia, SC)- we booked the King Executive Jr. Suite, particularly, Room 424. The front desk staff was very professional and accommodating. The cleanliness of the room was quite visible, nothing was out of place. The room offered a King bed, and Sleeping Sofa. In addt., this suite offered great views of Uptown Charlotte. The Omni is conveniently located across the street from the Epic center so bars, restaurants, the movie theatres, and all sorts of entertainment are within walking distance.
Keep in mind, there's only Valet Parking (but after checking out and waiting for our vehicle, there were refreshments available such as coffee, juice, water, etc. which made waiting on our car, not bad at all).
Cons: (For room 424/ King Executive Jr.Suite) - if you are easily bothered by noise, and it is the weekend, avoid this room as it sits directly across from the Epic center and it can become very noisy after midnight until about 2ish. On a final note, I would highly recommend a stay at the OMNI, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Very clean, professional staff, great location in Uptown.
best experience my wife and I have ever had at a hotel. The TVs pool side, the bar pool side were excellent. guest services were always willing to help and make sure that you were taken care of. highly recommend!
Beautiful Hotel. Love staying with any Omni Hotel or Resort.
Great place in downtown Charlotte. Dont walk alone but do e need to with all that immediately available at or near the hotel.
There is a lot of construction going on currently. We we're on the eighth floor on the Epicenter side and they were doing construction in the pool area. So there was a lot of construction noise until after 6 pm. There were a lot of areas closed off because of the construction. We also kept getting knocks from housekeeping starting at 9 am. We still had a couple of hours before checkout and were trying to get some more rest before our drive home, so that wasn't a great experience.
Attending "The World Affairs Council of Charlotte " for "The International Club" at Central Piedmont Community College was very elegant and informative... I enjoyed myself and made friends from other colleges. Learned alot!
Nice hotel! Great amenities. Effect location in the heart of downtown Charlotte. Rooms are extremely clean.
The hotel is beautiful, but poorly designed. The windows provide a great view, but if you are looking to enjoy a great night sleep you will hear everything... every yell outside, emergency vehicle, and the CONSTRUCTION beside the hotel. I called the front desk to have us moved to a quieter room, but the manager never assisted in the matter.
I've gotten spoiled by starwood hotels. this hotel isn't bad. Its just not a starwood. The location is EXCELLENT though.
This Hotel is simply top notch with a amazing staff and its located right next to the Epicenter in Charlotte. Valet parking and restaurants galore all connected to the hotel. Great getaway to go to the city!
