Great Food & Drinks, Great Location...Hidden Gem for Locals. We will be back
Ordered on Uber Eats as they seemed to be the best steak restaurant on there. Total came out to just over $100 for a filet, ribeye and a side. Both steaks were ordered medium but came extremely raw and tasted strange. Do not order from them, spend the money and pick up food from a better steak house. Wouldn t even pay $50 for this food again.
Love the food the hole place is great i love the entering of the font desk The lobby is remarkable and the rooms are so clean had to stay a nother night
Delicious, start to finish. Had take out from here. Bartender helped me place order, and she was so warm, friendly, and helpful. Helped me make great choices, and made sure I had all the necessary utensils. Steak was perfectly cooked, great taste. I have eaten here many times in the past 10 years, rarely had disappointing food.
The food was good at all levels. We each had something different and each course and piece was very good. The atmosphere however was not so much as the bar and restaurant are together and the noisy crowd at the bar was overwhelmingly noisy. Otherwise they would have gotten five stars. The noisemakers left halfway through dinner and it was a nice end to the evening.
Good service good food located in hotel very convenient
Great service, friendly staff, good drinks nice menu
This was one of the MOST ridiculous restaurant experiences EVER. I live near this hotel restaurant and I specifically went to it because it's usually not busy and low key. I sit down (one of 3 people in the entire restaurant) and ordered a glass of wine and dinner. I ordered a sirloin and asked to substitute the mashed potatoes which came with it (and were $3.95 a la carte) with broccoli (also $3.95 on the a la carte menu). Unfortunately, even though the broccoli was the same price as the potatoes, I was going to have to pay the entire a la carte price of $3.95 to have broccoli. I could have had green beans for $1 (even though these were $4.95 on the a la carte menu). I proceeded to ask for a manager, who's name was Michael, and mentioned to him that it made no sense to charge me for something that was priced the same as the potatoes which came with the meal. He told me broccoli is more expensive. I pointed out that it was the same price on the menu and that made little sense and that ANY restaurant in the area would not charge extra for a vegetable in place of a starch. He asked me if I ate at the "Outback", which apparently has the same policy (it does not) in addition to being generally disrespectful. This is apparently a "corporate" policy which no manager could possibly override. Thank goodness his managerial duties don't have anything to do with revenue!
So, I left after complaining to the management at the Embassy Suites and because I refuse to support stupidity. I just want to say once more, when I left, at this point, I was one of 2 people in the entire restaurant and one was drinking at the bar - seriously, what happened to common sense? If that was his business, I think he would have figured out a way to keep me there. Amazing!
What happened tonight with my food that was delivered through ubereats is what I would say the typical is with Omaha steaks; it s either unbelievable, or awful. Unfortunately, tonight it was awful. The last time I mail ordered the same happened. The steak just tasted bad and hardly had any marble. Do believe I ordered mixed vegetables too and got just green beans. I really wanted to give Omaha steaks another chance but now that it s twice in a row that s been awful, I ll pass on repeating. It s too bad, thought an Omaha steaks restaurant was too cool.
The food took over an hour for our party of four, despite the restaurant being almost empty. The server Kristin was attentive and apologetic. When the food finally arrived, the Ahi tuna was so overcooked and tasteless it was a travesty. VERY DISAPPOINTED, ay overpriced.
A good selection of beers - which is not obvious in a place where mainly Corona and Miller High Life drink.
Steaks were just as good as home (Nebraska). Service was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was great but they were under staffed took awhile to get food and refills.
The food did not disappoint! The chicken meatballs were surprisingly delicious
Amazing customer service, the waitress was great along with food and drinks.
Service was poor and had to wait almost an hour for dinner. The waitress was not very personable.
Ordered a Margaretta pizza for pick up. It was ok, tasty but had an odd sweet sauce drizzled atop.
Food is subpar, and service wasn t much better. Children s meals were $9 each and came out incorrect and was told the cookie, (that it was supposed to come with as the dessert), the chef didn t make any. Food was way over priced for quality. Definitely would not dine here again. Restaurant was empty, should have been a warning sign. Very small menu selection as well.
My recent purchase was a $189 package that included Main lobster tails half priced at $44 that were almost inedible and could ve been purchased elsewhere for much less. The fillet steaks were chewy and uncharacteristic to minions they were full of sinews, hard to digest. The seasoning enclosed was excellent as the steelhead trout fillets were. However the stuffed chicken breasts were leaking the very soft stuffing.. In conclusion I feel that I would be overpaying for Omaha steaks if I continued to shop with them.
1 star is pushing it. Ok, 1 star for service and taking the crappy food off the bill. The 16oz rib eye was a joke. Rubberband city. The burger was relatively tasteless and the mushroom app was microwaved and served on a cold iron skillet. The hotel that the restaurant is located in is very good but go elsewhere for your dinner.
I had heard about Omaha Steaks for years, but never ordered any. I expected the restaurant to have quality food. I was disappointed. There were four of us in the party; I ordered the rib eye, usually the tastiest if steaks. My wife and daughter-in-law ordered NY strips, and son ordered the filet mignon with oscar topping which included crabmeat. All four were cooked perfectly. But the filet was the only one that was good. He and daughter-in-law loved it. The sirloins and ribeye were tough and tasteless. The loaded baked potato was good, as was the loaded mashed potatoes. The regular mashed potatoes were just so-so, and cold. The cost of e meal was right up there with Ruth Chris steakhouse. I'm sorry we didn't go there instead. Service was good.
Had a very tasty meal here with my mother a week ago. We began with the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which was good-sized and a great start to the meal. For our entrees, I had the sirloin steak and she had the petite filet mignon, both cooked perfectly (medium-rare, see photos). In addition, the mashed potatoes that come standard with every steak were plentiful and yummy. To complete the meal, we ordered the creme brulee to-go since we were full from everything else. The only reason for not giving a perfect 5 's was that the restaurant staff tended to disappear all at once at varying times which was odd especially if you were in need of something. In all, everything was great, and we would definitely eat here again.
Lovely place for lunch and dinner. Food was delicious.
The bar staff are incredibly hard working and make sure you feel you re their only customer yet weren t ever intrusive. We wouldn t sit in our room because Cynthia and Sarah were usually there to greet us. Have fun at the Omaha Steakhouse bar.
Food was good but the server was overworked and rarely checked on us.. FOOD VERY OVERPRICED... Steak came with salad OR a side for a yuge price, plus THEY CHARGED 2 BUCKS FOR EACH SMALL LOAF OF BREAD...
SERIOUSLY CHARGED FOR BREAD !! Never ever going back
Good atmosphere and service. Food was just ok. Hotel the restaurant is in sucked.
I am.a resident of Altamonte Springs and have dined at Omaha Steak house a number of times in the past and I have had an overall good experience. However it has been a number of years since I have dined there. I was in the mood for a Steak on Thursday night so I went there with a friend. The place was relatively vacant of customers, but I still had to get up on three occasions to find our server. My friend and I both ordered a NY Strip which took quit some time to have served, in the mean time we requested bread several times and finally received it toward the end of the meal. Once the Steaks finally arrived they were too tough to eat. The Server said that different cuts of meats have different levels of toughness. I agreed and said that is why we ordered NY Strips. She reluctantly offered us a different Steak and we both took her up on a Filet Mignon. Those Steaks arrived and were improperly cooked but by that time we had been there for an hour and a half so we both ate part of the Steak, paid the Bill with a 20 percent tip and left. During this whole experience were we never given the opportunity to speak to a Manager or offered an apology or a discount. I would not have written this bad review if it was not for what happened next. I did not make it home before I came down with the worst stomach ache I have ever had. It lasted all night. I contacted my friend in the morning to see if the same had happened to him. The answer was yes. For these reasons I recommend againt supporting this restaurant.
Very good place to live chat with your partner or with good friends Cortes and exquisite drinks
Rooms need attention. They are plain. Pillows are tiny. Appears to be clean. Rooms are huge. Staff is very pleasant. The drinks at the reception are nice and the snacks were good.
Great atmosphere and great food. I have the Omaha steak Burger which was absolutely delicious and I paired it with fresh fruit. They also had an absolutely delightful apple cobbler with ice cream on it that was to die for. If you are staying at the embassy suites I highly recommend you try them out
Service was slow. Food was good. Fish tacos were excellent.
This restaurant is in Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Staff takes such good care of their customers.
Yoi figure the steak would be good. We had hangar steak. It was cooked well but no flavor.
My co worker and I were thinking a steakhouse would be nice for dinner. We both decided to check this place house since it was in our hotel. Both were the worst prepared steaks we had had in a long time. They were tough and very dry. Needless to say extremely overpriced for this type of food. The mashed potatoes were not great either. I would not recommend this place. Service was great but the food was poor.
Don t believe the reviews! I decided to go for it and I m glad I did. Had the best pork chop I ve ever eaten. And bartender made me a perfect Cosmo. The prices are very reasonable for a upscsle steakhouse.
Would've ate here if the air conditioning in the hotel wasn't broke. I doubt an over-priced mediocre steak house can afford to lose out on any business, period. Might consider moving to another hotel chain.
The food was really good! I had the Mahi, and calamari. The waitress and her assistants were great but super overwhelmed. They had the dinner rush plus the two drink managers get together to deal with.
Ordered the hamburger which looks good but didn't match with taste. The beef was old or had a hint of smell of meat that was left too long I'm the freezer. It was bland and lack flavor.
I ordered the chicken pasta and there was more sun dried tomatoes then there was for pasta itself. Disappointing.
Had a very tasty filet here tonight.. Smashed potatoes were Ok.. but tasty enough.. Delicious Caesar salad.. Had dinner with a life long friend down from MD for a work meeting with our agency and he was running late from the airport so this place was convenient being in his hotel. I'd go again if in the area or staying at the hotel.
Poor service for 32 dollar steaks, steaks were good anything else average.
There were fruit flies at the bar, food was average, short blonde hair waitress was rude. Will not be returning there.
I should have read the reviews first.
Staff was friendly, everything was clean.
The Onion soup was bland, the Mac & Cheese was cooked noodles with no flavor, not even salt.
Tried a bite of the rib-eye, it was tasty but tough. Kids enjoyed their burgers, the fajita was fine.
I had a wonderful experience here with my toddler. They had the perfect lemonade, cheeseburger, and parmesan homemade chips. I also had their key lime pie which was perfection. The woman who waited on us was especially nice and helpful.
Great food and service I didn't even know this place was here but it's awesome
We enjoyed our free cocktail for Embassy Suites. The steak sandwich was great. Steak cooked perfect to the requested medium . The homemade chips were very good.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I get better service at the DMV! Sat down when it was practically empty, placed our order. WAITED 40 MINUTES FOR FOOD THAT NEVER SHOWED UP! Was told it would be right out after we complained when 30 minutes had passed. At 40 minutes we just got up and walked out. DISGUSTING SERVICE. DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE WHEN WE TOLD OUR SERVER WE WERE LEAVING! Never been so disappointed in my life. I've never left a place angry still hungry! I think our server's name was Jessica. The couple next to me said they had been there for 2 and half hours and still couldn't get their check brought to them after asking twice.
This place had very delicious food, had the 1lb chicken wings with bbq and they are super good, their drinks are pretty heavy on the alcohol so be aware haha
