Marriott calls me on a fictitious number to offer me a free stay in a 5 star hotel. I told them why not the one here in omaha for free? They hung up. Called the number back and it was a sweet older lady in western Nebraska had no idea why I was calling.

Disgusting business.

Perfect Hotel to stay for business visits
They have nice bar to hangout and have fun after day long meetings. However I'm not comfortable with the beds.

Usually stay in Fairfield Inns and moving up to an actual Marriott this week was a huge disapointment. Lobby was very nice, but just masks the rest of the facility. Hallways and rooms are damp, dingy, and outdated. The bathtub in the room has cracking and chiping paint all over the floor of the tub. Sub-standard cleanliness. Will be back at thr fairfield for next week. Polite staff though!

The hotel itself was very nice. Unfortunately the staff was not very helpful. I had to ask numerous questions because nothing was explained to us, and it felt like they wanted to just check us in and move right along and anything else was a nuisance. My family loved the pool area but there was a dip in the ground by the inside door that was filled with bright green moldy water that numerous kids were running in to get outside. I was hoping they would mop it or put a sign over it but I was there for 3 days and it was never cleaned and I watched numerous employees just step right over it.

I left my credit card at this hotel while dining at the restaurant. I realized it on my return home which was out of state. I called and was assured by the front desk that my card was there and her manager would mail it to me the next day. After waiting almost a week and with no credit card in the mail I called and was promised a call back. No one called that day, the next day I called and left a message on the front desk managers voice mail, still no return call. I have called 3 more times with the same response. Today my husband called and talked with the general manager who assured him he would call back before the end of the day, it is now 8:00 pm and again no call as promised. I have never experienced such a lack of professional courtesy . For a business that is based on hospitality, this hotel is extremely lacking.
The one star is for the person at the front desk who I first talked to that has tried to help me but is not "management" so is unable to.
To top it all off now the general manager called and said they no longer have my card. It was put in an envelope with my information on it, given to the front desk manager and then lost? I called again this morning to talk to a manager and again they were "in a meeting",
I just received this email. This is after I called Marriott customer service who talked to Lori at the front desk. She told them my card is there and "Greg" will call me on Monday to discuss what they are going to do with the card. It appears they have a stock answer which is why I received this lie via email.

Mr. Riffel,
I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize to you for your lost credit card. I understand that you have been in contact with a few different people at our hotel and we are truly doing our best to assist you.
We understand that losing a credit card can be a frustrating, scary time and completely sympathize with you. There have been multiple staff members searching for your card and we have not found it. Again, I truly apologize for the inconvenience and suggest you cancel that card right away, if you have not done so already.
As stated around our property, we are not held responsible for lost or stolen items. This being said, we still try our best to get any lost and found items to their proper owners. Unfortunately, we aren't always able to do so.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I'm sorry for the frustration.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Wojcinski, Guest Services Manager

I also see that you don't read my post or you would know I already posted your bogus reply.

The Omaha Marriott is the cause of my frustration Elizabeth.
As a follow up.
Three weeks later I have left more messages with "management" to please call me back and they have not. I would hate to see what would happen if there was a problem while staying at this hotel. They continue to exhibit the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

A trade show was taking place concurrently, we got shoved in the back corner of the building. If anyone had to visit the restroom we had to walk through a very crowded hallway that should have been left open for the other guests.

Ball/meeting rooms NOT RECOMMENDED.

Ball/meeting rooms NOT RECOMMENDED.

I have attended a couple events at this location. For any business owners, corporate planners, weddings and those looking to use the ballrooms, I recommend going somewhere else. The rooms have ZERO air conditioning and created a very uncomfortable environment each time I visited this Marriott.

Love the central location of this location but not worth the sauna treatment!

Place is in need of renovation. The rooms are small but everything is clean. First floor is well done with a bar and restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and wonderful. A little bit out of the way of downtown but worth staying in again.

Family of 5. Stayed 3 nights beginning of Sept. 2018.
We booked two rooms with connecting door.

The ugly:
1) Toilet would not refill after flush. Had to remove lid and jiggle fill valve to get it to refill. Facility guy came to look at it but did nothing to fix the problem.
2) The bathroom was gross with black mold on the ceiling in various places.
3) Room smelled very heavily of mildew. Gross.
4) The tub and shower curtain were not cleaned. Hair all over tub and bottom of curtain yellowed and smelly. Gross.
5) No microwave in room or lobby.
6) The AC is probably over-sized. This means that the room air is cooled too quickly so moisture is not removed. This creates air that is cold but still sticky, very unpleasant.
7) Staff was hit and miss. First night we called the front desk for an extra blanket but it was never delivered. The next night we did the same and it was delivered.
8) The hot tub was not in service. Insert sad face here.
9) The pool deck appears to have been renovated recently but it is not sloped properly so there is a lot of mildewy/moldy standing water pooled up in various places.
10) Very noisy neighbors across hall.
11) The hotel has obviously been renovated recently and the lobby is very nice. The rooms are nicely done too but there are many small details where poor quality workmanship really shows through.
12) Very stinky 'designer' soap. Why do hoteliers feel that this adds to the experience? I don't like them at all. Ever.

The Good:
1) The fridge kept everything very cold.
2) The AC system worked very well at keeping the room cool.
3) The linens and towels were all fresh and clean.
4) The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the real down/feather pillows.
5) The shower head was great. This may seem like a strange comment but I have stayed in many hotels with really crappy shower heads, this one was awesome.
6) The bathroom exhaust fan was working. This may also seem like a strange comment but most hotels seem to keep their central exhaust fans off. That is bad news. The exhaust air being pulled from the room is what brings in fresh outside air as well as removing stinky moist bathroom air so you ALWAYS want the exhaust fan running. I think some hotels must turn it off because they think no one will notice and it saves on the power bill. This one was pulling air out nicely.
7) The pool is pretty neat with the indoor/outdoor passage. Kids really enjoyed it.
8) Toilets flushed well.
9) No free breakfast. Maybe I m petty but many less expensive offer a simple breakfast for free.

Overall experience: meh. If given the choice again, we will stay somewhere else.

Rooms aren t bad. However, room service and restaurant are absolutely terrible. I have stayed here 2 different times and have waited for over an hour for my food each time. Not to mention once I got my it was barely enough to feed a child. This hotel is lucky it is in a good location or doubt they would have any business at all

The room was fine but the room service was horrible she didn t clean the bathroom or set the beds. We called the front and she said they would do it again but the lady only did one of the beds and left. I accidentally clicked the premium WiFi login but didn t actually get the premium WiFi but they charred me 50 dollars for it. The food that you could order to your room was quite good though and didn t take very long to get to the room. Despite this it was pretty bad.

I've never stayed here but I know some of the staff because I go in all the time with one of my jobs for delivery and everybody seems really nice and every time I've seen them interacting with the customers they've bent over backwards to help them out

I stayed at the Omaha Marriott for a symposium that was being held there. My room was freezing when I checked in. I adjusted the thermostat up, but it still blew cold air. I told the front desk and they would send an engineer to fix it. When I returned to my room, all the engineer did was shut the blower fan off. The room was still really cold. I went to the hotel restaurant for dinner, only to see that no waiteress or host was there. I had to almost walk into the kitchen to find someone. I ordered the french onion soup for a starter. What I received was a bowl of beef broth with 2 cut corners of bread, and a sprinkle of raw shredded cheese in it. Not even close to what it's actually supposed to be, so I ended up skipping dinner which would have been most likely disastrous. For a Marriott, this place was a major disappointment and inconvenience. In the morning told the the front desk of this and all I got was an apology and some hotel points. The symposium was hard to sit through as the conference rooms were freezing as well. For $149 a night, this is one hotel you should definitely avoid!! I heard at the symposium that I wasn't the only hotel guest that experienced the same miserable scenario. I'll stay at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn next time.

Pure!! The room was fresh and refreshing! Clean water clean air clean room! Inviting staff that welcomed a tired cyclist. They also had fresh bananas mmmm a cyclist best friend. The middle elevator is larger which is great for heavily packed travelers. The location is very close to everything making it a convenient and obvious choice.

Nice place to stay good breakfast buffet options! Close to shopping and food. Very clean. Nice indoor/outdoor pool. Only thing I don't like is the new sliding doors that Marriott seems to be adding to all their bathrooms... Why?? Not private and don't block bathroom smells and sounds very well...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and I loved the designs in the hallways after their renovation. The beds were firm but comfortable, however the pillows were too soft and provided little to no support. The pool was nice but the towels were empty at the poolside.

I went for a seminar/informational meeting. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, if not a little too chilly! The staff were friendly and helped guide me to the conference room without hesitation. If I were looking to stay over, I would feel very comfortable here

Rooms are way too small and outdated. Cleanliness in the rooms need a little improvement. Concierge lounge isn't what they make it out to be. Customer service wasn't all that great, under staffed.

I understand the times we are in now with the Covid. With that being said, there is no free breakfast nor do they offer any kind a discount or anything to offset that. The Hot tub is not hot at all, no towels at the pool. My girlfriend had booked a room for us, charged her card, told me her card didnt work and then charged my card for the same ammount of $383 for 2 nights.

Not great at all. Smells like awful mold in the hallways and hallways resemble the torn down remains of The Sahara Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. Outdated and smelly all around. Breakfast buffet is not worth dry eggs and $16 not to mention dry front desk clerks. Marriott or not, this is a not.
