Om of Medicine Review

There's only two dispos I go to and this is one of them. Super friendly staff that take their time to accommodate whatever you could need. If you wanna just hangout with other folks just like you there's a really comfortable sitting area to do that. I love the fact that they bring you into your own patient room and you have time to discuss what you want and dont feel rushed. This is my favorite!

Nice, clean and professional environment is why they got 2 stars.
Parking and walking all the way over is a major pain. That alone is enough to shop elsewhere. When I get in, there is about a 10 minute wait. No big deal... I called and asked if they had some specific products before driving over there and when I arrived, they were not there. The guy working the front desk told me they had them when I called.
The "doctor" on site kept asking what my medical conditions were and I told him several times I don't need help in that area. He really wanted to express his knowledge. He tried to give me some flower as I was leaving without a purchase but it was very poor quality. All of their flower was trash!

I love this place. I drove over 50 miles to get there well worth the trip. Mark was wonderful just need more rooms because people don't want to leave.

This amazing dispensary is filled with artwork that are all from local artists which is amazing!! You are blown away right when you walk in because the art work & lounge area are so amazing! Good prices on the bud, knowledgeable staff, and tons of free events that they offer there! Also it s amazing that you re allowed to bring friends & family to enjoy all of the free events that are held in the lounge area & the best part is they don t have to have a medical marijuana card to hang out in the lounge area! Evan Litinas who is the Chief Medical Officer did an amazing job by giving me helpful tips and knowledge about certain strains, and also hooked me up with freebies since it was my first time! I ll definitely be coming back more often!!! LOVE this place!!

Om is the best dispensary I have been to. They are extremely nice and the atmosphere is really relaxing and comfortable and everyone is amazingly nice. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful staff, very direct, honest and caring. Cute, clean and safe shop. I found parking just around the block. Staff and manager helped me resolve a small misunderdtanding and they were more than honest and do not sell boof products. Trust their prerolls!

With there being so many choices of dispensaries (outside of Oakland county) it is hit and miss at first regarding which ones are reputable. Om is a great place to get RSO oil. They also carry Full Spectrum candy which I really like due to the great ratio of THC and CBD. I did recently removed a star from my rating because the last bud tender was a born car salesman. He was more concerned with profit than anything. I shall not mention his name. Also, Om's bud is prepackaged and kept in a cupboard. Who knows how long it has been there. To wrap up this review, I would like to mention that no one place will have what you need. Om is good for RSO.

Beautiful interior decorated with art for sale by local artists. You get one on one attention with a budtender, who takes you into a very clean office that almost reminded me of an Apple store.

They have a big magnifying glass so you can closely examine the many amazing buds they have to choose from. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they're always happy to offer recommendations based on the type of symptoms you're treating.

You can even order ahead online and they'll have it waiting for you at the reception desk (just try to order 24 hours ahead of time). It's nice if you just want to grab and go.

I usually park in one of the public structures down the block; the walk is nice because they're right in the middle of downtown Ann arbor. They will validate your parking, too.

Hands down the best prices and staff for recreational dispensaries. I went to pick up an order pretty close to closing time. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, I was expecting them to be short with me, or not even accept my order as it was 20 minutes to close. Used to be my Favorite dispo hands down. The prices for rec is way to high. I understand quality is what they go for but charging $80 for something that s only $40 or less on medical seems wrong. Probably not the dispos fault but there are several other Dispos in the area with a cheaper/wider selection for recreational users. When I had my med card this was my favorite but they don t seem to care much about Rec

Best place to go for medication! Learn about different medicines.

It's an interesting experience climbing the narrow staircase to the floor where the dispo is located, but you're rewarded with a large waiting area, helpful clerks and budtenders, and excellent prices.

However, I find the selection a bit limited compared to most other dispensaries in the area.

Nice calm place to chill while you wait on friends. I went to sleep...

I recently had a gram of wax delivered to my house. That was really cool !!! The delivery man was very pleasant. However, the prices are definitely not cool! I know people will say that you pay for quality; but I've had better quality product for half the price. 68$ for a single gram of wax is outrageous, especially when its only testing out at 58% THC :(

P.S.
Please stop putting synthetic terpenes in the concentrates. They are not good, and you're not fooling anyone- except for new cannabis consumers. It makes the product soupy.... and nearly impossible to deal with.

Price and experience wise, Om is better than most of the other dispensaries in Ann Arbor. They have an awesome selection, cool and welcoming waiting area, and helpful staff. Strongest edibles around.

These guys rock and and know their products....my husband drove me up from Dayton, Ohio. I was in so much pain. I ordered online, my order was ready, I bought more product. An my awesome budtender gave me freebie......sweet....Christmas in april...product is awesome. I bought balm for my pain. It helps..the rso helps. The 3 hour drive is so worth the reasonable prices, quality service, product..the best , these people really really care about us patients.....see you guys around the 5th......peace...

Excellent store! Clean, professional, and knowledgeable. The decor and environment was calming with my order being placed quickly.

This is by far the best dispensary ice ever dealt with. Their pricing is excellent and the staff is amazing. They're quick to basically just give you things extra when you come for your meds, and the staff is always really helpful. Never turning back.

They also give back to the community, donating $420-710 a month to the local organization Food Gatherers, and just generally being a great tenant of Ann Arbor

I went 1 time over A year ago. The environment was mind blowing and the staff was great. The issue was the selection was small the time I was there and parking was difficult for me. With that being said it's not with the trip or the anxiety . I'm A suburb guy and any downtown parking can be A challenge for me. I do recommend going and see how cool the environment is. If your looking for Recreational weed this is you place.

Having diverse employees is not enough, I d rather go to a different dispensary just to know that my money is not going to go to the washtenaw county sheriff, especially when a report just came out that shows how discriminatory the county court system is!

Great place with personal service. Loved the private room with a no rush feel. Wish there were flower higher THC and CBD. Got spoiled in Colorado where the medicinal side offers flower with high THC and higher CBD and lower prices for medical patients. Love you can use leafy to reserve and pick up products. Make sure you sign up for text because there are great daily deals! Will definately return. Bud tenders were very knowledgeable and would recommend people who are new to cannibus to go here for their first time. Also greatful for a bathroom for customers to use. Great waiting room too!

Questionable Labor Practices?

My original Post before many works were fired and attempted to unionize:

First experience with walking into a store and buying pot. It's about fn time. Really friendly staff and good experience. Prices really weren't that bad. Only thing I was disappointed with was I couldn't physically see the product before purchase. I wanted to walk in and be surrounded by pot.. like I've dreamed about. Most likely be back but I will look around for best deals.

I went the shop this weekend for the first time with my dad who is in his 80s, and suffering from terrible back pain, and early onset Alzheimer s. He and I had no idea what we were doing but we had simply unbelievable support kindness and guidance from Tim and the team at Om.

I m usually too busy to write reviews, but I really wanted to take a minute and thank these guys for the way they treated my father, and the amount time they spent just looking out for us

I had an abhorrent experience shopping at OM for a week while my dispensary of choice underwent maintenance. I purchased a quarter of a strain called Lion OG only to be given banana cream pie - and when I was told they would replace it and to drive in - I was called whilst en route by a manager to say they are sorry and offer me a 20 percent discount next time. Sorry, you want me to pay 90 bucks to redeem what I already paid you 110 for? I was made to feel super uncomfortable and then they actually took the banana cream pie back (I hope they didn t put it on the shelf because they said they wouldn t take it back initially due to the pandemic!). So I wasted my gas and time and was made to feel bad for asking for what I paid for. By the way each strain and flower I had for a week was very dry/ very subtlety effective at best. You can tell this place lost its soul when it went corporate. Arborside has better prices and quality.

I recently reached out to Om of Medicine with a community related inquiry. Alec got back to me in a prompt and timely manner and far exceeded my expectations! I'm very happy and satisfied with the his level of service and I sincerely appreciate everything Om of Medicine is doing for our community!

I don t come here a lot but when I do it s always a positive experience. Their website is always up to date and I ve never had an issue with placing an order and then picking it up. Is it true Om donates money to the police? I thought my money was going into bettering the community. It s very hard to support a business that isn t straightforward about what money it s donating, where.
