My Reis Salon Review

My family and I LOVE My Reis Salon, and have been getting regular haircuts and spa services there for several years. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We are partial to Lori, but have NEVER left disappointed. My Reis uses and sells the best products, and the modern, minimalist design of the salon is very relaxing and tres chic. I m unaware of any other salon in the area that offers the quality and variety of services and employs such talented staff. Highly recommend!

I went and saw Lori today and I am unbelievably happy with the results. She did a perfect job color my very thick hair to two different colors and its the best hair cut I've ever gotten. I dont think I'll go anywhere else now that I've found her.

Always a great experience. Carly took the idea I had for a cut/color and elevated it. It's perfect!

The best salon hands down! I have been a client for years and would highly recommend it. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and you are always offered a beverage. The only place that I will get my nails done . So my stylist, Amanda R. is the sweetest, kindest person and talented beyond compare. I get so many compliments on my hair. She can do it all, Color, Cut, Style and the braids ! You have to try her and My Reis Salon for yourself.

Although I loved my hair I didn t love the customer service. I should have read the one star reviews. I now see why they wrote them.

My wife and I have been going to Reis for a few years now (astonishing for me) and we love it there. Outside of offering a good product (a good looking hair cut) it is just fun. The staff is all pleasant (hey, free lattes) and we love our stylists, Lisa and Kelly. It is a fun, comfortable atmosphere.

My first time at My Reis Salon. I was not disappointed! My stylist took the time to listen to my concerns and had options for me to try.
I have fine, curly hair which can be a problem if not cut correctly. My color came out beautiful! Thank you Lori!!!!!

Horrible haircut for son. We told the barber our son wanted a trim - all set. The barber puts in his ear buds, grabs the electric razor, and does a straight line up the back of the head! the rest of the time was spent trying to fix his mistake ....

After telling this story to a few other families we learned that other kids have had similar poor experiences.

I can't remember a worst hair cut or experience or result.

Find a better place for a hair-cut - horrible.

My 3 year old went today and had a lovely hairdresser. she gave us the exact cut we wanted and the price was fantastic. we will come again.

From the ambiance to the staff, I love everything about My Reis! It's so hard to find a stylist that knows how to cut fine hair well, and Taylor gets creative and nails it every time! Highly recommend!

Scheduled to have a mani pedi today, but my pedicure alone took over 90 minutes. I had to leave without my getting my nails done because I only had 2 hours in my day for the full mani/pedi service. Very odd and frustrating.

They do great work, treat you kind and respectful. Also treat each other in a good way

The environment in the salon is appropriate for anyone under the age of 15 - the women working there had very unfriendly and unpleasant demeanors (with the exception of the young woman at the desk) and the colorist who did my hair applied the color to my roots so that it washed out within 4 days. The prices are reasonable if the work is done properly, which it was not in my case. Never again.

I love this Salon!!! Austin is absolutely amazing!!! She was able to correct a seriously bad dye job with out causing any damage. She always gets my color perfect. My hair is so much healthier than it was before I went there. Austin is fun and patient. She always goes over what she is doing before she starts. She gets me excited about my hair at every visit. I used to dread the hairdressers because I have very difficult hair and have endured horrible cuts and horrible coloring jobs. It is soooo refreshing to have someone work on my hair who gets me excited about the results.
My Reis Salon is what a hair salon should always be like.

i asked for my hair to be UNDER my collarbone, and now it s freaking half an inch from my chin. i m a 14 year old girl going through middle school and now i have to deal with this.

Big Mike does an amazing job. Every cut I leave wedding ready. This is definitely his calling.

Had my hair cut and colored by Kim twice now. She is fantastic! I wanted two very different cuts the two times I went, and she mastered them both! :) Thanks Kim!

Also, Salon is beautiful, clean and uses quality products. Staff is always friendly! :)

It was jus a terrible experience, And no apologizes for ruining my hair or refund, Never going back.

Katie is absolutely fabulous! I have been getting my hair cut with her for about a year and I recently got my hair balayaged. After the first round I wasn't so satisfied with the color, but she fixed it right away when I expressed my concerns with no extra charge. I wait to be back home from college to get my hair done just to go to her!

Love the salon. Chris always does a great job with the cut. The place is always clean and well-staffed, everyone is super friendly and it's the best experience I've had with getting my hair cut.

I have been following Katie as she has moved from salons over the years. Before Katie, I had not found anyone that listens and is able to give me exactly what I want every time. She knows my hair by now and what looks best on my face, and what will and will not work with my hair. My Reis Salon is by far my favorite salon she has been at not only for getting my hair done (cut, color and styling) but for other services that they provide. Everyone is so friendly and professional while at the same time creating a fun and comfortable environment for the duration of your time at the salon.

Although my stylist was 15 minutes late, she apologized and did a wonderful job on my hair today. I understand these things happen and I also had forgot to provide an accurate phone number, as they had tried to reach out. Although I was a little frustrated, that all got fixed with the respectful kind and fun attitudes of all your staff. Once they explained the situation I felt better and hadnt realized my contact info was my own fault. I sincerely appreciate the prompt written response from the owner. I have updated my review to 5 stars, well deserved! Thanks for beautiful hair once again! I will be back!

I always had the hardest time finding a hair dresser that I loved until Katie did my hair for the first time years ago. To this day I haven t gone to anyone else. She always knows exactly how to cut, color, and style my hair to make it look perfect. Also, the atmosphere at My Reis is impeccable, the decor is gorgeous and everyone is so friendly. Can t wait for my next visit!

I got cut by Mike Glidden today at My Reis Salon and it was incredible all around. Great location, excellent clean facility, and Mike s chair comes with plenty of work space. Add in the fact he s probably the best barber on the Seacoast, maybe even the state, and it s a great experience all together. Highly recommend!

Received the worst manicure I've ever had at my reis salon this past Saturday. Came in with a friend, excited to try some where new and we both ended up with the same results. My cuticles look terrible, it started chipping after a couple hours, and it looked like something I could have done myself. I expected much better results for a $35 manicure... the nail techs were very nice, but unfortunately that doesn't make my nails look any better... dissapointed.

I love my hair, the service is excellent and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate how customized my cut and color service is and the products recommended to achieve my results at home. I can't believe how shiny my hair is even when I'm due for my color. I moved recently so this is a new salon for me which can be unnerving when you been with a stylist for over 10 years but I have been very pleased. I pre-book my appointments and today was my third time in and I will be back!

Deeana is incredible! I've gotten my hair cut by her a few times and decided to color it recently. My hair came out better than I could have imagined! And on top of that she's just a great person to chat with during your visit! I can't thank Deeana enough for making my hair dreams a reality!

I have been getting my hair colored and cut at My Reis with Deanna for close to a year now. I will NEVER see anyone else. I officially have the blonde hair of my dreams! Hands down the best salon and the best stylists on the East Coast.

I have been going to my Reis Salon for the last two years. Great atmosphere, staff and I have had great things done with my hair! My Stylist is Taylor and she is fantastic. I have had highlighting done, prom hair, and makeup. I highly recommend this salon to anyone!

I have been going to my reis salon for several years. My hair stylest Lori is awesome and I completely trust her and let her work her magic with whatever color she thinks will be good with my hair! My son has been coming with me since he was 6 months old ...he is now 8!! The staff is so nice and welcoming and very family friendly.

I highly reccommend Bri Chapman, she is incredibly sweet and she did an awesome job on my hair!

I love My Reis Salon. Previously, I had just been having my hair cut there, and they always did a great job, but getting my hair colored there for the first time was an amazing experience. Firstly, when I called to schedule the appointment, they were able to get me in 2 days after I placed the call. Secondly, Chloi did an absolutely amazing job with my color! The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked with my natural color to customize the perfect shade for me. I was in the shop for about 4 hours for this hair transformation, and the staff made the experience really nice for me. They are helpful, kind, friendly, and really communicative about logistics and pricing which I really appreciated. I also think the price of what I had done was fair, especially for so many hours of work! I highly recommend My Reis Salon, and I also recommend Chloi for any color transformation you want done!

I got the worst pedicure last Friday. I will never go there again . She filed my skin on my toe. It's like a burn.
I was charged $54.00 .

This place is excellent. It starts with the ownership and trickles down to their excellent staff. Their training or vetting process must be exceptional to have such quality stylists. Their product selection is excellent too. Hats off to the ownership for knowing that customer service is so important....A+++++ for My Reis !!!

Dana is the best! She listened to what I wanted, and took the time to give me just that! I love how the entire staff works as a team, & are all interested in what another stylist is doing & how it will come out. They're all super supportive of each-other.

Chloi is just great. Always does an awesome job on my gel manicure. Only place I will ever go for my nails.

First visit to this salon the other day, requested a simple service and explained that I was new to the area and looking for a new location to receive services.
Beautiful entrance, very organized, greeted immediately and all the staff was friendly. Quickly taken for a walk in visit.
Really didn't like how cramped it was, the building is large but the staff was using only a small portion of the square footage. I got the impression, rather than making clients more comfortable they were trying to stay near to each other to chat with one another. Not very relaxing.
Having mentioned to the person at the register and providing services that I'm new there, local etc, I was disappointed when leaving to see there is a points system for purchases. Was not told at all about the salons points/ reward program and the cost of services received was substantially high compared to industry norms and quality of services received.
Overall it was a decent visit but I'll be looking around because the pricing is way too steep.

Amanda at My Reis is absolutely phenomenal. Her work is fantastic, and she is the absolute sweetest!

I cant imagine going anywhere else for my hair needs. I have super curly out of control hair and Amands gets it tamed right down and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. (If only I could do the same at home.)

I have been going to Austin at My Reis Salon in Exeter for 7 years. She is absolutely phenomenal. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Not only is she an amazing stylist but she is a pleasure to chat with and makes you feel right at home at the salon; which is top notch in itself. I highly recommend Austin and My Reis Salon, you will not be disappointed!

Kellee is not only a talented stylist but also very professional! I would rate her services 5 stars! The overall cleaniness of the salon was unacceptable and is the sole reason I rated my experience a 1 star. I visit weekly and I have noticed that the sinks where clients get their hair washed are filthy. On several occasions I have noticed that the sinks are coated with dyes and previous clients hair. Unacceptable!!!!

This is the only salon I will ever go to. I came in about a year ago and it was amazing. Carley that is at the Exeter location is one of the best people I have ever met. She took the time to talk to me, get to know me, understand my vision and see what I actually want. My appointment was a few hours because of what I had done. I had a beautiful blonde balayage done and she did a great job. She was patient as I do have a lot of hair and every time I came in everyone always told me I would love to be able to do things to your hair. I recently messaged her and she responding so quickly as I have been wanting to come in again for another balayage which I will be in soon. She is amazing and I recommend to everyone to go to My Reis!

I got a wonderful haircut from stylist Danielle yesterday. I loved it in the chair and I love it even more the day after. I highly recommend this salon for their wonderful service and talent!
