A fantastic little theatre. More legroom them some but still not quite enough for anyone of average size.
The quality of their productions are fantastic. Not seen a bad play there yet. Drinks are a standard central London price and there is an average level of choice. Not sure if there is a lift, so no disabled access to the upper levels but I may have just not noticed it.

Great show in a great theatre! We watched Present Laughter and our seats were in the front row of the Lilian Baylis Circle, which is considered to be a rail in eyeline seat. I m 5 5 and the rail was in my way when sat all the way back, but pretty much everyone on my row was leaving over the rail, which is still pretty comfy for a 2 hour show - and great seat for the price. The show was amazing, Andrew Scott along with all the cast delivered a great performance! Note, the female restrooms are under construction/there s some remodelling taking place, but there are plenty of toilets (all very clean from what I saw), and no line.

I watched Richard Armitage in the Crucible there and it was a great experience. I loved the theatre's setting and had a seat in front row. That was a great experience, as you felt like you was a part of the performance.
It's also easy to reach as the underground is close to the theatre.

This fantastic gem amongst London theatres has just celebrated its 200th Birthday and let's hope there are many more years to come. I visited it for the first time in 2010 and have returned as often as I could ever since. It's like a great More

The old Vic was a great venue with the exception of the top side "seats", which were actually benches with little room and partial visibility.

The size of the venue was excellent and the sound was clear and concise from all areas of seating.

The lighting and stage size were excellent.

I would recommend the old Vic for any show but do your best to avoid the third level cheap side seats.

A really fantastic theatre, innovative and engaging stage set up, with comfy seats and great views. The performance was enhanced by the high quality sound and lighting. A great atmosphere, and nice place to go for a drink or some food pre/post theatre.
