Loved it! Good service with Josh. Good food. In fact the price was pretty good too... We ate the lunch special pizza of the day with a salad split between 2 people. It cost a total of $10.90 for both of us to eat! Yummy and affordable!!

This restaurant is an Oxford classic. Oh so delicious pizza and pasta dishes. Large variety on the menu. All family members should be able to find something to enjoy. Wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our party of 10.

The only saving Grace was the pizza. You walk in to a drippy restaurant. You are 'greeted' a waiter who promptly walks away and apparently you are supposed to know to follow the waiter without any prompting. I asked twice for the Rosemary bread - which thankfully arrived - as the pizza took a long while to come out. The waiters don't work as a team or spot other people's tables. The bathroom is run down and the toilet it like sitting on a teeter totter. There are unlit and smashed lights hanging from the ceiling. The place is rundown and in need of some serious reinvestment. It was almost worth all of this to get some of their pizza - but doubt I'll be doing that again any time soon

This is a good place for sure. It's a restaurant environment so it can stressful sometimes. The workers are respectful and kind. There were some pretty women working there when I worked there. The staff, managers included, treat you like family. Just do your job, be respectful, and show up for your shift. They feed you pretty well, too.

Half the tables were empty and I was told there was a half hour wait. And the hostess couldn't tell us why? Most people left. We stayed. The food was pretty good and our waitress Haley was great.

The wine was good, bread and oil was a nice touch. However the lasagna was cold in the middle, just like the demeanor of our waitress. We were also seated by the back door. This was fine until the manager kept going in an out of the door letting in the rain and cold air without any regard to the rain blowing in on our food. This maybe 10 times in one hour. Not my favorite trip to Old Venice :(

Really disappointing experience. Used to love this place and was waiting to come here upon quarantine reopening. I had seen an ad on the instagram page that the summit (upstairs bar) was open. Upon arriving, was informed that the summit is not open. We sat inside and noticed the rebrand as Venice Kitchen. Several of my favorite items had been removed from the menu, new decor wasnt very charming. Food was ok, nothing special. I know things have to be different during quarantine, but we didn t even get menus (had to scan a code to open online) and got plastic silverware. Waitress asked us about 10 minutes into eating if we needed boxes and brought us our check, which was pretty steep. If Im shelling out $80 for a dinner for two, I m not trying to be hurried out of the restaurant. Dining experience totally lacked, false advertising on social media with the summit reopening, food and service were only ok, and felt like a total waste of money. Old Venice/ Venice Kitchen has lost its charm.

Delicious. My girlfriend and I split the Hawaiian, (no green onions of course) and it was fantastic. The sweetness of the pineapples complements the saltiness of the meat so well, and with an alfredo base, it really is a step above the rest. Service was prompt, and courteous as well. I would definitely recommend visiting.

So very disappointed with the food. I have eaten at Ole Venice for over a decade, but this most recent experience will be my last. I was treating a friend to lunch to celebrate his promotion. We ordered the cheese sticks and two personal pizzas. The cheese sticks were good. However, my Tuscany Chicken pizza (my favorite for the last 6 years) was so gross I couldn't even eat it. The Alfredo style sauce was not even warm and the sliced chicken was so dry it appeared as if it had been bought pre-cook and pre-sliced. Yuck!

Went last Monday afternoon about 5 o'clock. We were only people in the restaurant. I actually thought it was closed when we walked up to the door. I got the chicken alfredo, which had very little alfredo sauce/cheese.... mostly just a bowl of fettuccine noodles swimming in butter. Way too greasy. Pretty much just ate the chicken, which I will say was tender and well-seasoned. I've had this before and it was very good so maybe tonight was just an off night.

Old Venice is my absolute favorite restaurant in Oxford! The food is amazing and the service is always very fast. The rolls are amazing (as well as the food and sweet tea) and I end up convincing my boyfriend to eat there at least once per week. I highly recommend this place

Shrimp and crab carbonara tasted like it came out of a grocery store freezer. Low quality entree for sure. Service was good. Will not ever eat there again. Pasta dishes are a major rip-off.

Great!

Old Venice used to be a great place to go on the Square for delicious, affordable food. After not having been in years, my husband and I went there for New Year's Eve with hopes that the quality was still great. Unfortunately, this was not the case. While prices have gone up, quality has gone down.
The service was average. They appeared to be understaffed.
My husband got the Rasta Pasta. It was bland and not spicy at all. I got the Creole Delight. It was bland, the noodles were overcooked, and the "cajun cream sauce" consisted mostly of oil that made the dish greasy and left a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl. We definitely won't be back. We could have eaten at a restaurant that actually had good food for the price we paid. Very disappointing.

Pasta dishes were drowning in sauce, and the chicken in the pasta had no seasoning-plus it tasted like the precooked stuff you get at the grocery store. When a dish claims to have "grilled" chicken, I imagine a freshly grilled chicken breast with grill marks- not the tasteless, cold pieces floating in the pasta sauce. My dinner partner's pasta dish was supposed to have crawfish and shrimp, but had not a single piece of crawfish-and its crawfish season! The only thing that tasted good was the spinach and artichoke dip, and bread - it tasted freshly baked and had a nice little spice.

Yeaaaaa, I usually am too ambivalent to review restaurants (especially orders to go) but as i sit here in a massive funk I feel I have to. Before I start Im giving Landshark Delivery AND Old Venice bad reviews because I'm not sure who deserves the majority of the blame. At 11:46AM my girlfriend ordered a pizza for me with the arrival time set for 2PM. Unfortunately I didn't receive my pizza until 2:17. I wouldn't have been that annoyed if i would've gotten a heads up that the pizza was going to be late so i could've made plans not to miss my afternoon class. Furthermore, when i finally received my order i was disappointed to find that my Coke was hot and they had completely neglected to give me my side item, and a receipt. Had to wait for the pizza so missed my afternoon class, which has kind of ruined my appetite. The one positive I can give is that the driver was chill and read my girlfriends note on the order flawlessly. If your days are filled with free time Id consider using this service, but if you value punctuality and food that accurately reflects your order steer clear. Whatever, next time Ill just pick something up from Soulshine

It's on the Square! Is this places only selling point. My wife's sauteed spinach tasted like half a box of salt was used on it. After complaining and sending it back its replacement came out swimming in a cup of oil and water. Our eggplant parmesan was over baked and the spaghetti was only slightly better than Chef Boyardee. The service is the only thing that saved Old Venice from a 1 star review. Save your money and look elsewhere for Italian food in Oxford.

Old Venice has GREAT pizza (which my dad has proclaimed "may be the best pizza" he's ever had) and wonderful lasagna! Though the service itself is highly dependent on your server (and I have had both excellent and not-so-great service), I still definitely recommend you give this place a try! P.S. If you like chocolate, try the chocolate caramel pie -- it is excellent!

I will never eat at this place again!!!!! I ordered chicken parmesan that was burnt and had half a cup of pasta on the plate for 15 dollars after waiting awhile to get it. I could barely cut it with a knife because it was so charred. I told the waitress that I didn't want it and I didn't want to re-order it because I didn't want to wait again. I did not even take a bite of it. I only tried to cut a piece. Whom ever cooked it knew that it was too charred to be served . She said that she would take it off the bill. Well when my bill came they charged me 7.50 for the burnt chicken that i had sent back and expected me to pay for it !!!!!!! I wonder if they seriously do that to all of their customers or to just certain ones?

The food was well priced and good. There are many different options for people who can't make up their minds. I personally believe that the drinks were a little expensive, so I did not order one. The environment and setting was excellent; anyone can enjoy the music and the staff was super friendly and enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Oxford Square.

Ate here on our day trip to Oxford Ms and wow, some of the best pizza I have had in such a long time. Everything was freshly made, the bread, crust, toppings. I would go back to Oxford just to eat there again.

Only come here for the summit, which is an upstairs bar that is owned by Old Venice. It is a great place to get away from freshmen and have a drink and hang out with friends, also they do service food too.
