Who doesn't love a double Manhattan that comes standard?! Well, if you don't, you still have plenty of wine to choose from or just go with the meat. Although I am a huge fan of the shrimp cocktail too. Can't get enough of this place and the view is pure bliss.

Great cocktails, winelist, the early bird is a great value. I love the Lil Buckaroo cut. The salads are enormous, and the bread is divine. I think it's a great meal after a day on the beach or on the slopes. Beats cooking any night of the week..
Everything was great: The Filet Mignon was tender and tasty. The New York steak was delicious. The brussels sprouts were very good with the steaks. And the cheesecake was delicate and creamy. The service was good too.
Food was over cooked, very bland, small selection on side items. Menu not very big. Priced about right for the area. Decor was tasteful don't know what was up with the music player it kept going in and out but not a big deal. Look at the menu online before you go. On the up side the drinks were not water down.

Cute setting, but the service is definitely rude. They offer a special on the menu, steak with salad. I asked to order that but when I said I will share it with my gf, she looked at me as if that's the dumbest thing she's heard and told me they don't do this.
It was ok. 2 members of my family really liked their filets. I ordered prime rib medium well. It is their specialty. It came well done, was tough and did not have a good flavor. I was disappointed as this is a special treat. Prime rib should be delicious and extremely tender. I have made it during the holidays and it always comes out good. Even the au jus was so so. I should have ordered the rib eye. I like plain old mashed potatoes. I have to say their garlic mashed are buttery and pretty good. If you try it, stick to their steaks.
Everything was great except the ribeye, Was cooked perfect medium rare but had almost no flavor and was very chewy.

the food was fabulous the owner didn't seem too impressed about our opinion it was better than the old owners because, he was the chef before he bought the restaurant and now the food is so much better the mushrooms was fabulous and so with the steak and prime rib.

Place was decent and had and excellent view of Lake Tahoe. The steak was cook perfectly to my asking but not much flavor. My wife's Ribs were good also. Little expensive for quality IMO. Staff was short with us and not to friendly. Maybe because we are a younger couple. Low lighting was romantic.
Cozy, dark atmosphere. It's fun to select your own wine from the wine rack on the wall or old school cooler for whites. All leather booths have view of Lake Tahoe. Steaks cooked perfectly every time.
This was by far the rudest experience we have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress looked at me with contempt the moment my husband and I sat down. I asked some basic questions about the menu (specials, etc.) and she seemed offended. I asked if it was possible to sub the wine that came with the steak for a soda since I don't drink...she cut me off with a downturned frown and kept saying "no substitutions." She became uglier second by second. After ordering I must have looked at my husband as if I had been sucker punched and he said, "Do you want to go?" At first I thought about staying and then I decided I would not lay down 1 nickel in an establishment that tries to demean people the way she did. We rarely have a moment free to relax and unwind and how dare she try to steal it from us...just didn't need the abuse. We. Walked. Out. Shame on them!
38 dollar steak was not seasoned. Salad came out after 20 minutes. After waiting so long for the salad our steaks came out literally 3-4 minutes after our Salad. This place Was ok. The drinks were good.
Prime rib to die for. Make reservations for the "small cabin". Incredible atmosphere. Perfect Tahoe experience

We come here every year on vacation. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is low key and quiet. The bread is amazing. The owner is very welcoming each time we come. Looking forward to next year!

The food was delicious. The decor was old school steakhouse, oversized booths and comfy. I liked the low lighting and the picture windows where you can see the lake. Our waiter was efficient and the food came quickly. My one complaint was the waiter's attitude. He seemed annoyed we were there and dismissive, almost like rolling his eyes at any questions. He came off very snappy and talked down to us.
A must when you're in Tahoe! Staff is great and the food is so good and the portions are very generous.

Huge portions, excellent wine selection, huge portions and well prepared and tasty food. Add all that in with spectacular Lake views and cozy Western atmosphere and how can you miss?
