This was by far the rudest experience we have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress looked at me with contempt the moment my husband and I sat down. I asked some basic questions about the menu (specials, etc.) and she seemed offended. I asked if it was possible to sub the wine that came with the steak for a soda since I don't drink...she cut me off with a downturned frown and kept saying "no substitutions." She became uglier second by second. After ordering I must have looked at my husband as if I had been sucker punched and he said, "Do you want to go?" At first I thought about staying and then I decided I would not lay down 1 nickel in an establishment that tries to demean people the way she did. We rarely have a moment free to relax and unwind and how dare she try to steal it from us...just didn't need the abuse. We. Walked. Out. Shame on them!
