Dr. Monaco and staff are wonderful! I was so upset about my prairie dog Missy. But Dr.Monaco helped so much and truly cared about Missy. Wish everyone was so kind.

My dog was not feeling well and we continued to call and bring her in but they never did anything different. They kept saying it was the same thing over and over again. Then we took her to the vet hospital and ended up having to put her down. I am heart broken about my dog and upset because the vet shouldve caught it and maybe it wouldn t have ended up the way it did.

Has a wonderful way with animals. Very caring and knowledgeable. Best of the best.

They boarded my dog while we were away. He came home happy and for a small extra fee he got a bath and his nails cut. Friendly staff

Dr. Monaco is by far the best vet on the island, the state and maybe beyond. I have a 14 foot python that hadn't eaten for six months. I took him to three other vets to no avail. Finally, the owner of a reptile shop recommended Dr. Monaco. From the moment he handled this massive creature, I realized he was equally at home dealing with him as much as cats, dogs--ducks.
And after the most thorough exam I've ever seen a snake get--in 40 years of dealing with them--Dr. Monaco decided on a course of treatment. Two days later my snake, Banana woofed down a massive meal. He is now well on the way to full recovery.
Because I have a lifetime of experience and have met a vast array of experts, there are very few who impress me. Dr. Monaco is one who does, and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Very sad to see all the animals in need. Personally I wish I was able to take them all. But the staff is very nice, and seems like they genuinely care.

They saved my cat Ra. After bringing him in with a urinary blockage they diagnosed and treated immediately. They treated him like one of their pets. Every day I got a call as to how he was doing, I never had to worry what was going on. It was wonderful. Incredible staff and brilliant veterinarian. We bring our sun conures here for grooming, checkups, and sometimes boarding. You can tell that the staff here really loves animals. They treat our flock like family and have helped us through some tough times with our babies.

Excellent experience as always all the years with all our doggies. Very personably and caring to make us very comfortable especially for large dogs as well as our others.

My English Bulldogs Bruno, Sofia and my Amazon Yellow-Naped Sherilyn love Dr. Monaco. He is the best Vet I have ever known. I travel quite far for my visits and it is so worth it. His knowledge of all different animals will have you NOT worrying because not only is he honest, but take his time to explain any of your questions without rushing you out of the room. I have always lived with dogs or other type of animals and Dr. M have been the very best veterinary doctor we have found. The staff is also excellent in what they do. I had never in the years going to this office have encounter a disappointment. The staff is there to help you and also answer any questions. I have to say that old country animal clinic has been more than amazing since we first brought our rescue chihuahua for his checkup. Dr. Eisbruck took the time to go over our new pup with us in detail and was very gentle. You can tell right off the bat she is very knowledgeable and professional! The dog had some teeth issues that needed straightening out so they quoted us for a cleaning with anesthesia. We felt so comfortable with this vet that we decided almost immediately to bring our dog back for the procedure. Alexis the receptionist did an excellent job helping us set everything up and was very communicative about everything. They did such a wonderful job with his cleaning and returned us a happy healthier pup! Professional A+ staff! Thank you!!

Took our baby beardie in for his/her first wellness check up. Dr. Monaco and staff are wonderful super informative and very nice. The office is clean and the wait time was very minimal. Definitely going to bring our other pets here as well. It's great to know that as first time reptile parents we're doing a good job.

You showed us that you really have a heart and truly love what you do. You were all so caring and Ollie wasn't nervous going to you. I took my Red Eared Slider to Old Country Animal Clinic today just for a regular check up and Dr. Monaco and his staff were very helpful and gave Kayla (My Turtle) an amazing check up and shell cleaning! He was able to clean while his assistant kept her very calm (calmest I ve seen her in a while) and it was a very quick and easy visit. I haven t been to a friendlier vet s office and I strongly recommend this place to anyone that has a Turtle. Kayla left his office today happy and healthy! Thank you! She looks forward to her next visit!

If I could give a six star rating I would. When it comes to pets, especially exotic animal's, some indivuals try to manipulate their owners care for them by giving astronomical prices for sometimes mandated procedures. Old Country Animal Clinic is not this way. Dr. Monaco and his staff are fantastic and I would suggest this be the first place anyone go when they require any exotic animal needs. (I would also say dog/cat needs but I have only taken my exotic animal there.)

I brought my turtle to Dr Monaco, a new experience for me as I've always had dogs and cats. Dr. M treated my turtle like an old friend and was very thorough. He found something wrong with him through a stool sample and sent me home with injectable medication so I could treat Big George properly without repeated visits. Sure enough, he was cured and healthy. I wouldn't take my turtle anywhere else.

Dr. Monaco and his staff are the best. They cared for our ferret, Cassi, for seven years. Dr. Monaco is excellent at giving you all the facts and diagnosing underlying problems. You immediately trust his knowledge and judgement. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon, as Cassi had many surgeries in her life (some with emergency vets) and Dr. Monaco's surgeries left her with little recovery needed and almost no bruising. The staff there is top notch, with many of the vet assistants ready to help take blood or get medicine with a smile. I would recommend this clinic to anyone with an exotic.

Brought my baby sulcata tortoise to 2 other veteranarion before I tried Old Country. Both failed miserably in diagnosis and treatment. I went to Old Country and immediately knew I finally found the right place. Just by the way Dr. Monaco handled the tortoise, he told me exactly what was going on. Gave him an antibiotic and vitamin A shot and force fed him with a stomach tube. One of the other vets. Said he was to small to give a shot. When I got him home and made the modifications Dr. Monaco recommended to his habitat, he started eating again and hasn't stopped, his eyes are open and bright. I wish my own Dr. could treat me that well and fast. I can't thank the Dr. and staff enough.
4/2/19 update. Tortoise took a drastic turn for the worse, died within 2 days. Didn't have time to get it back to the Dr. Cause of death unknown other then it was sold to me much to young. I'll continue to use Dr. Monaco for my veteranarion needs.

The team here is great. I first came here with my pets as a child over 10 years ago. My first have since crossed the rainbow bridge, but after recently deciding to adopt again, I'm glad that this clinic is as reliable and supportive as I remember. I live farther now- Old Country Animal Clinic is worth the drive.

Last year my pet cockatiel was not well. I searched for other vets in my area but no one worked with exotics. While doing some research on the situation I found Dr. Monaco at the Old Country Animal Clinic. I was able to get an appointment and my little avian was taken really good care of. The problem was diagnosed and treated appropriately. I still bring in my little avian periodically for maintenance. With the help and grace of God and the help of Dr. Monaco and his great staff, I am grateful for every minute that I have with my little precious avian. If you are looking for a doctor that is highly specialized in exotics, Dr. Monaco is the person and his staff is unmatched. Thank you Dr. Monaco and your wonderful friendly, knowledgeable staff for taking such good care of us. God bless you all.

Dr.Monaco and his vet staff were so compassionate and helpful with my 8 year old leopard gecko! They were so gentle with her and made sure to give her all the necessary treatment. I'm so happy to have brought her to this facility. They made sure to give me all the information i needed for her condition and also asked me lots of questions about her. Dr.Monaco answered all my questions too. I will be sure to bring her back to Dr.Monaco for any other needs. I cant thank him and his team enough! I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Took my bunny here for an examination and was seen quickly. The staff was really knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are affordable too! Will come back with my other pets

Old Country Road Animal clinic cares about its patients and human pet owners alike.

The staff is courteous, and they have two doctors on staff. Appointments easy to make; they take you on time, too.

Cozy waiting room makes you feel at home. Very knowledgeable vets, mostly for dogs and cats.

We were forced due to my health to come down to Florida. All the people I knew recommended a particular vet here. Our dog was climbing the stairs one day and hurt her leg. We took her to the recommended vet and he told us she needed surgery. The Florida vet also claimed to know doctor Monaco. It seems he has a number of family members in New York and they all use him. I let him know I wanted to speak to doctor Monaco before considering something as invasive as surgery. Dr. Monaco spoke to the vet and suggested another course of action and our dog has not had an issue since. It has been four months now and she is still doing fine without the surgery. Thank God for Dr. Monaco!!!!!! There is no more qualified and wonderful veterinarian on earth. He's amazing!!!!!

This office is great. Since we adopted pur dog we have been taking her to see Dr. Monaco and him and his staff are amazing. They treat you animal so nice and they make sure your animal is comfortable.
