I m a new employee at armor. It s sad that management don t care enough for their employees to cut them a check. It s just days before Xmas and a company as big as armor drop the ball on cutting me a check. Even though it s their fault, they re still making me wait until god knows when. Everyone is passing the buck on who is taking care of it. Just sad, while they get to enjoy Xmas I can t because they did not pay me.

Fired a nurse(Lake Cty Florida) because she chose the safety of evacuating during Hurricane Irma with her children as the governor requested. This is a case of at will state being taken to far. God forbid something happened to her children, an apology would not be sufficient. I can only imagine how they treat staff and offenders under their watch. Think twice about working for them, employees are only moneymakers to them.

I was employed by Armor as a Charge Nurse and received all positive feedback from the management team. When deciding to resign my position, due to unrelenting verbal abuse and disrespect from mid and upper management, I gave and fulfilled my two weeks notice. At the end of the two weeks, the DON asked me to stay on for an additional two weeks to help out until the new Charge Nurse could begin. I agreed to stay the additional two weeks but then left their employment by choice. Now, two months later, I have yet to receive my final paycheck for my additional time. Armor owes me hundreds of dollars! I have emailed and called the office and management employees in the location which I worked and have received no calls or emails in return. I have left messages for the payroll manager in the corporate office and have received no call back. If I had stolen from Armor, they would have me arrested but Armor thinks it's ok to steal from me! The abuse and hostile work environment created and maintained by Armor is unconscionable.
I'v worked in Armor Correctional for over 12 years and I love the work culture environment. I appreciate the friendly staff and the growing opportunities my management has provided over the years. They have a great understanding of family/work life balance and I am grateful to work for a company and owner that gives back and appreciates their employees.

It s really funny how all the great reviews are coming from the corporate office! Armour has lost many contracts due to their lying and deceitful practices. A lot of incompetent people, a lot of in custody deaths, a lot of coverups. If they are so great, why are they losing so many contracts?
