It has been mainly the same for several years. Would like to see more new things than just some new food items

A decent place to visit. However, I docked them a few stars for their atrocious system for handling the flow of traffic. Literally sat in line for an hour while waiting to exit.
I was here for the Half Price Books clearance sale.
Great fair, tons to do with rides, animals, food, shows, street performers and more!
It was my first State Fair... And totally surprised. The rides are too good for both kids and adults. Had great fun, variety of food, lemonade to beat heat.
Offered the shuttle around parking and inside Fair as required
Plan to spend whole day...
Wonderful opportunity to see a multitude of different sporting events.
Chinese Lantern Festival is outstanding!! Went Christmas day evening. Weather was wonderful for December 25th!
Every car person needs to come to the Good Guy Nationals. Jaw dropping cars.
Worst venue experience ever. Making people wait outside for more than 2 hours in teen temperatures should be considered torture. We paid good money to go to a concert, got there plenty early, and nearly froze to death waiting to get in. If you can t handle the amount of people you sold tickets to, don t sell so many tickets. I ve been to hundreds of concerts in hundreds of venues, and I have never had such a horrible experience.
Visited here for the RV and Boat show as well as an antiques show. Huge indoor venue with a decent but very pricy food concessions
Attended the Home & Garden Show at the Ohio Exposition CENTER (fairgrounds) the ten gardens were well thought out, fun too.
Original plan was to take our preschooler to see and hear the author of PETE THE CAT: he sang three or four of his book songs, had children and adults interact and help sing; child was quite happy doing so. We finished our day by visiting each garden.
We appreciated LIBRARY DAY at this show.
$5 cash for parking required.
Well it's what you expect going to pay for parking but it's a nice facility it's always well laid out the food, drinks, and beer are overpriced but nothing more than you're used to for that sort of thing
Was at the Center for Dragon Lights and it's an enjoyable experience with great lights, entertainment, and food.
Loved going to the Country Living Fair. It was my first time. Will definitely go back!
Always a good fair. Enjoyed the butter "cow" at the dairy barn.
There are various events throughout the year. The Ohio State Fair is only the biggest. There are general merchandise sales, coin shows, stamp shows, gun shows and The American Quarter Horse Congress are held there, as well as all sorts of other events. Check the Expo Center website to see what's happening on any given weekend.
Keeps getting Better with time. Many upgraded and modern ammenities. Clean, sanitary venue buildings. Huge parking areas for all events. Only minutes from downtown and thousands of hotel rooms within 5 mile radius.
Great selection of vendors. Not much advertising. Don't think people should be charged $5 for parking and $6 to get in the door. The price of a dinner. You've vested yourself and you haven't made a purchase yet and may not, which would put you in the red. I'm sure that was part of the reason for a low turnout. Vendors paid their fees and suffered in sales.
Hey guys check this place. They are giving free flu shots. I got my flu shot today. In less than 5 minutes you will be out of that place. Take advantage of this opportunity
Sure it's expensive but there is so many different game's, food, and rides it would take a whole day or two to check out everything at the fair.
There isn't alot of things for everyone. Yes there is food and rides but if you cant do that and you want to have fun with your family its hard to do much
Something for everyone! I loved the concentration on rural agriculture and conservation! I'm glad we went!
We went to see Juice Wrld and I cannot believe what a horrible experience this was. We were lucky enough to get in however, we waited for 2 hours in 20 degree weather. They only had 2 people doing security and once inside they did not have enough security either. I am told hundreds of people were turned down and not allowed to enter. Many were told they overbooked but, that is not true. There was plenty of space and seating available. This by far was the worst ran event I have ever experienced. Just terrible!
Great host for large outdoor events. Parking kind of sucks though
Hold on to your wallet when you go to the State fairgrounds for any event..... The money grab starts when you park and goes on from there... They have some good events here and you have to just pony up.... It dont make the pill easier to swallow...
Ohio National Poultry Show! Saw some great birds, got to clerk with a great judge, got to visit with new and old friends, and saw the best home-made, red neck chicken hauler ever!
Very clean venue. Quartet Horse Congress is always a good time
Love it here events are always great especially during the state fair
Good location. Huge parking area. The auditorium is good.
Greast placebo go to events. Easy access, easy parking. Very convenience
The book sale was so busy and I wish the prices were more easily spotted, but you can't beat the $2 and under price!
Lots to do. Lots to eat. Lots of fun. Lots of people.
Scott's antique market in the Celeste and Bricker buildings respectively. The Ford expo and car corral in the Voinavich building.
Our family LOVES the Ohio State Fair and we never miss a year. We love seeing all the animals, eating all the food, and the kids love the rides!!!! I always suggest going EARLY!!!! You beat the heat and the crowd!!!!
Night Ranger and REO Speedwagon were fantastic! Fans were on their feet the entire concert! That is rare these days! It was nice to see!
I hate the fair, rides suck. Way too overpriced and too many people. It is a good time killer though.
Needed more ways in and out. Got a little crowded once you got inside.
The State Fair is always a great place to go. There are many animals to see, great food to eat, and a lot of fun activities to do.
Excellent place for community gatherings and holding large convention
Horrible parking layout, almost impossible to find your away around
This year's visit to the state fair was nice because it was less crowded, due to the rides being shut down.
