Great venue, great people, will definitely be back.
This is the State Fair Grounds, which is used as a convention center all year long. There is very, very poor, incompetent management from a vender's point of view at the State Fair. They seem to have other management problems because, in 2017, they killed and injured people because of incompetent ride inspections. Still, it is a lot cleaner than the Michigan State Fair.
An interesting place to visit and eat all the great food that is bad for you.
Been going to fair here for years still a lot of things to do and see.
Most of the food is way over priced for what you get, but the natural resource area and side entertainment are good.
This was the first time I went to the state fair and it won't be the last. My wife and I had a great time.
Always fun to go to but this year we saw a calf being born, priceless
Love this one especially the fair it's awesome and huge so many selections of food and who doesn't like fair food you gotta admit that's the most important thing to do at the fair is try their heavy loaded deep fried foods high in starch! Lol anyway it's huge lots to do at the fair and they have events here as well but I just go to the fair and you should too you won't regret it (well maybe years later you'll have high cholesterol and be like it was the fair food! Lol
Ohio History Museum - worth going to at least once.
Great food and lots to see!! Don't forget to go to the different buildings off the Midway.
Hot, fun people watching, terrible food. It's a fair. You know what to expect.
We drove nearly 45 minutes to attend an event on April 1st. Imagine our surprise when traffic was rerouted for a soccer game and there were no signs directing us to expo parking. We spent an hour setting in traffic trying to figure out how to get in! Very poor planning in my opinion
We come here for state archery competition. Getting in is easier than getting out. It's not well marked for bus parking or for a bus to navigate for our exit. Too much going on without an efficient plan for accessibility. For example: allowing trucks with travelers to park in area that bigger vehicles, like buses, need to be able to maneuver. SMH.
There's always something interesting and fun going on here. Tons of parking.
The fair is getting kinda worse every year. Plus parents are literally afraid to let their kids ride the rides go figure...
Went to the Lantern Festival. Was truly beautiful. A must see for everyone!
Great for people watching and drinking a few beers. Not exactly... classy.
High school graduation. Getting out took forever no traffic support.
Loved the fair! The food and concerts rides were all great...but the guys selling the massage chairs in one of the buildings were so rude. That company sent the wrong sales people to do that job
Venue is fine; the show I went to see this year lasted 35 minutes but cost $40. I won't be back.
As a Genealogist, it's Heaven on Earth! Friendly and helpful people working there.
I've been to serval events here and it always has seemed will planned out and clean. Decent venue.
Shriner circus was lame. All about money 20 minute intermission so they can make more money. 20.00 elephant ride around a 5 foot circle. Its For kids should be free. The pictures with iron man should be free as well
Great place, was there for gymnastics. However was hard to find... apparently the building I went to shares the same exact address as the building across the street. Was very confusing.
Not too bad. Ypu just really never know what you're going to get when you get there! The grounds themselves are not all that well marked for events other than the state fair. A few more maps would help. It's difficult to gauge where you should go, where you should park: spots not well marked, driving lanes not marked, etc. Kasich Hall facility itself was great though. Inside was well marked. Restrooms are nice and clean. Temp was perfect. Actually impressed with this facility. It's newer so maybe that's why.
I did not attend any of the concerts or events, however my family rode the rides and we had some food. The deep fried buckeyes were so delicious and fitting for our amazing city!
Enjoy shows, food and vendors. We always enter fair hop on skyway to other side and walk back to other end as we eat and take in all that is offered to enjoy.
Awesome! Had a great time. We saw the butter astronauts and famous butter cow
It's the Ohio State Fair nice clean grounds . And the alot of things to do . I also attend the Indiana State fair. For entertainment. And remember when our fair provided big free entertainment for example Happy together tour etc was free in Indiana this year. Checkout the line up in Indiana . And hope our fair brings it back her.
Simply massive, from the size of the fair to the size of the Ohio bred horses. I saw them just before their show and by God were the fellows massive compared to their handlers. Majestic as hell. Simply huge.
Cat show. Smaller venue but perfect for this function, and free cookies! Learned a lot about different breeds and tips when buying a cat.
Our 1st time going..and we'll be going every year. It was a great time..fun and all the police made the environment feel really secure
Had a good time, very crowded of course!Love the Sirloin Tips and taters! Yummy
It was one of the most enjoyable days i have had at the fair. It was the first day and.not real hot. My grandson was able to ride all the rides with no wait. I usually come to the fair about once every 4-5 years. In fact, my mom use to have a stand at the fair and sold tacos long before taco bell ever came to Columbus. Therefore i worked there for 10 years and probably explains why i do not go every year. But this year was really nice and let me know how much i missed it.
The Good Guys Car Show is definitely worth coming to see
