Very friendly welcome. Friendly staff. Good advice and good friendliness. It is a pleasure.

Beautiful resort located 1800 meters. No cars in the city but horse sleds or snowmobiles. The station is made of buildings all covered with wooden cladding which gives an identical appearance to all dwellings. Nice resort but a little expensive everywhere, from the blueberry tart to 4,20 to the carriage ride for 500 meters to 11 .

Friendly team, available and competent. We spent 1 week in Avoriaz and loved it. The tourist office guides us in proposing activities. It was precious and our stay was very nice

Very knowledgeable staff.. they speak a variety of languages including French, English, German, Italian and Spanish.

We sleep badly because of the dance festival, and in the afternoon and the morning we have the sound of the concrete mixer. It really becomes the resort to avoid ..

Station without car is great. We can go buy her ski bread. Station very well organized.

Love Avoriza, fantastic snow, relaxed atmosphere. Able to ski into Switzerland. It is a fantastic Base.

Station great enchanting enchantment .... but complicated when you have problems to move because level station and the company Schlinder who must take care of the maintenance of escalators does not make efforts to satisfy tourists what a pity! ! And what a mess.

To have the 5th star, you would need a beginner's area with carpet or snow thread accessible to all and not reserved for the ESF. Being with my 3 year old child, it is difficult to find a very slight slope with ascent to teach him to stop and turn ... It is a pity that the ESF has this monopoly.
Otherwise, the resort is top with efficient lifts, slopes for all tastes ... What a pleasure to ski here. And the village has a crazy charm!

We loved our stay in Avoriaz. A beautiful resort, beautiful walks to Morzine or enjoy rides carriage rides (here no nice car), shopping, sports or relaxation, our accommodation near the cliffs offered us a breathtaking, quiet and resting . There is also the gondola that connects Avoriaz to Morzine which will lead to beautiful walks that can then lead you to the Abondance Valley, superb

Home very average, we are only given information about paid things

At the end of the season the office du tourism in Avoriaz was very quiet. First welcome by a young woman was pretty coldish with a " can't be bothered" attitude. Second visit was better.

nice resort for skiing. But no green transportation and free, it is a shame for a station is prohibited telling motor vehicles.
Some facilities are aging to the level of the ski lifts, and packages are as expensive as in modern stations, offering free transport as well as modern amenities.

Super domain, magical resort, without car. We are elsewhere, only flat rates!

Very helpful people here if this is your first visit to Avoriaz. The office is situated right by the Covered Parking called Plateau. Bearing in mind that the resort is car free they can be very useful for arranging transport for luggage to the accommodation you have booked if you have driven to resort.

I parked my car in a paid parking lot. Next to other cars on a snowy area. On return a PV! Why? It is an unreported, unmarked, unopened heliport! Full of cars! Basically a tourist trap!

Avoriaz is a brilliant ski resort. very professionally run, a very good tourist office I highly rate this ski holiday and the investment made in avoriaz.

I do not like the dilapidated wooden building station of the buildings.

Located in the heart of the resort there is a friendly and competent

Nice station when you are on foot, but the underworld begins once at the top of the slopes. I skied for an hour because there were too many people (thank you the ski rental and the package paid in the wind ), the slopes are narrow, and the skiers ran down the slope at full speed without paying attention. Avoriaz is a station for experienced skiers only.
We took a carriage ride (30 euros for 15 minutes) it was very pleasant.

Slopes could be better prepared, especially when the resort is that crowded. Chairlifts stop surprisingly often and for long periods

Incredible to meet at the mythical resort of Avoriaz to follow the France Bleu Live Festival organized on the occasion of the anniversary of its opening.

Just a winter paradise !!! There are many shops, from food to clothes to souvenirs everything is to get. It's just gorgeous there.

I love this winter sports resort. I have been coming there for 35 years and I am still amazed by these beautiful landscapes and this warm atmosphere. A must

Lots of info, booked our ski passes here, weekly info about resort and what's on.

It's a shame that they have not yet released the leaflets for spring and summer.

I've been going there since 1991, still my favorite station. The slopes are aimed at various audiences but it is especially the only one which offers black slopes worthy of the name!
By cons a little damage the snow cannons all night a few meters from some homes ... no choice and not the only ones I imagine ...

The staff is very nice, traders also. Great ambiance.
So yes, in fact, prices are not the same as plain, but the quality of restaurants and facilities is at the rendezvous. We know why you pay.
