Very helpful and convenient for toilets in the centre of Avoriaz.
Super resort
Very nice home
It remains to be deplored the pitiful state of the apartment that we rented from March 10 to 17, 18
By the rental center
I have a very telling photo report at your disposal: a shame!

This snow-sure resort has everything you could possibly need for a great skiing holiday. Incredible scenery, a well laid-out and varied town, well-kept pistes and happy lift attendants. At first you think the high-rise developments are a little ugly, but they certainly grow on you, and when covered in snow and surrounded by fairy-lit trees it softens the look. The car-free concept is brilliant, and helps add to the safety and romance of the place. If only we could pre-book the weather it would be truly perfect!!
very involved, the actors of this important place are very warm and speak several languages frequently. But in the promotion of the resort, something is missing.
I hope to be back soon. I have the memory of a very beautiful and relaxing holiday
An extremely friendly welcome and a very great professionalism.
Very very nice resort but for a family resort a great lack of toboggan run "the day". Piste reserved for the ski school. It would be possible to privilege would be only one track for the sledges.
Staff who knows his work well and knows how to accompany people outside the station
I love Avoriaz, a place that was extraordinarily good with the horror film festival!
Awesome ! The resort is great for both skiers and non-skiers. Everything is there for a great stay.
Ideal for skiing and snowboarding at the heart of the slopes.
Great welcome, great information beautiful places for a mountain vacation
Very well attended, in various languages and very knowledgeable
Superb resort: the Portes du Soleil take us from France to Switzerland without realizing it. Station without concrete (or hidden under the wood) and especially without a car. Horse carriages play there by taxi.
Bravo to the team who knew how to advise me for the relaxation week.
Lots of people for not enough staff, even outside of school holidays. At the price of the 7-day pass, could do much better.
In short, disappointing, no real info given on the restaurants of the resort, things to do etc ...
Disappointed
Beautiful resort for those who love the mountains, which is not my case, I prefer the sea.
Nice resort appreciated by tourists Parking not too expensive not bad for families
Nice place to take a quick rest and get information. Staff is friendly. There is also a restroom here and a small table where we were able to sit and have a quick bite.
In the center in the middle of the Avoriaz shopping street.
Home very nice and smiling. Good explanations of things to have and to do
We had a very good week holiday in this resort, very nice staff and very good advice at the tourist office, I highly recommend because you will not be disappointed
Nice people. Can provide information in several languages
Nice for the station side while walking. Negative points drop your car in the car park then go to the shelter and wait for the shuttle and this regardless of the time of arrival. Escalator going up but not going down :( watch out for falls on the stairs because of course it's wet!
A very fantastic experience. The weather and atmosphere is great. You have everything in one place shops, restaurant, good, etc. The team at the office are friendly and professional. We had all the information at the arriving a d during the stay. I recommend Avoriaz. See you soon.
Avoriaz is one of my favourite ski areas. The lift tickets aren't cheap, but there's a reason why. Lifts move fast, and while there are lines on busy days things tend not to get too clogged up. The recent addition of free gas BBQs is brilliant. Something I've seen in Sweden and always thought should be bought to the Alps. More toilets and a few warming huts would be great.
Well placed in the resort. Easy access and opening hours with a large amplitude.
very disappointing stay ... indeed a karaoke the Voice was organized and registrations took place at 6pm but when I and my children arrived to register, the hearing man told us that everything was already full because of participants had cheated and came before 6 p.m. So at 6 p.m. the auditions were closed. We were very disappointed my children were impatiently awaiting this evening which was ruined because of a truly scandalous organization. In addition, no apologies from the lady responsible for the hearing. To spoil the hopes of children in this way is a scandal, I have no other words.
Excellent ski area with gentle groomed blue runs from the very top to the very bottom. The effort they ve made in to wide runs, grooming and planning of lifts across the whole ski area makes it a beginner / intermediate dream.
The many well-planned red and black runs are awesome. When we went there had been a light dusting of snow, not enough for off-piste snowboarding powder but I can see it would be gnarly in good conditions. The wider ski pass gives you access to an huge area.
The horse-driven sleighs are charming and the general french residents / staff very friendly to visitors. The snow cats which carry 18 people packed like sardines and your baggage up the hill to the hotel are exceedingly odd - take a horse carriage instead.
Superb resort. We had a dream Christmas. Lights everywhere, charming traders, sensational animations, a pyrotechnic show around the arrival of Santa Claus, a distribution of sweets, mulled wines, hot chestnuts, hot chocolates, popcorns and horse-drawn sleighs at each corner of streets. If you want to spend a Christmas with a real Christmas spirit, this is Avoriaz.
Unbearable work all day on the via ferralta no respect for holidaymakers
One of the most beautiful resort in the Alps, at altitude so with guaranteed snow and WITHOUT cars for more charm and beauty. Great.
Disappointed by this village created from scratch and distorts the landscape ..
Very disappointed with tobogganing animation and egg hunt during Easter week.Several children did not get any rewards during their participation in the sledge race and egg hunt. Better spread the rewards .1 reward per child on would be welcome this would avoid the jostling insults and unacceptable behavior of some parents.
Very bad experience, I will never come again and I advise against Avoriaz, it is a beautiful place, but people are thieves. We paid 15 euros for the bouncy castle equivalent to 30 min, our children took advantage 8 minutes before the rain, the responsible person told us "I'm sorry it's ruined, as if it was my fault the rain . After we read electric bikes at MCF, a team with employees who know nothing about bikes, they are there for 6 weeks, you have to make the most money, I asked if I can attach a burley remark on an electric bike, technician response, you can if it's 12mm, I confirmed that's it. On the day of the surprise rental, a longer passing axis was needed, I ask for alternatives, nothing, because they are zero. As a result, the boss Jeremy stole 120 euros out of 178, when I didn't even touch one of his bikes, because he was losing money because of me. I hope it will close soon.
Very nice resort, quite chic. Some stores closed in the summer but a lot of activities
Historic ski resort Avoriaz, a large ski resort suitable for everyone.
Perfect winter sports village, where especially its car-free character brings a lot of good things. The children love this very much! Everything without motorized traffic and the child wakes up in everyone ....
Helpful and friendly staff. Reload your lift pass here if you already have the card.
A tourist office that has a lot of good information to advise customers! Locals or vacationers, this site allows you to discover a maximum of sports activities including this year, a first in France: FREE STYLE BY ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE !!!
At the top no complaints
Perfect welcome
Have a magical experience! A big thank you to the tourist office and its hostesses for its welcome and valuable information!
Avoriaz! I must tell you that you have lost your beauty and that you are really going crazy !! You are no longer a ski resort but a giant nightclub with people drunk at noon .. Your crowded slopes are very poorly maintained .. Your ski lifts are plastered with foul smelling advertisements .. Your parking lots wealth of a single man and not of the commune are overpriced! The Prodains car park is absolutely disgusting, so muddy that after two hours you have to clean your car (inside / outside) in addition to having had a bad day inside you.
Jean Vuarnet must turn around in his grave at the sight of what you have become ..! Just a fairground at the picole and a wealthy tourist trap ..
Brief farewell !!
An always enchanting resort with a wonderful Christmas spectacle. Skiing with your feet a real luxury and when the sun is out it is only happiness.
too bad such a wonderful site! but the staff really not available not friendly not imaginative this explaining may be the slightest success of the station in summer
A lot of concrete building. Pity. Nice landscapes, nice trails, outings with children quite complicated, closed restaurants in the summer. In short, average site where everything is expensive and paying. To avoid with 4 children.
An atypical station, unique, apart ... Here no vehicles (neither cars nor shuttles nor bus ...) just carriages to take you to your residence. Result: a 100% pedestrian resort, relaxed people, happy to roam the snowy More
It is a wonderful structure, to visit at least once, because it deserves
Friendly, courteous and competent are probably the expressions that best describe the Tourist Office in Avoriaz. You get here, English or French provided, good information on all things that affect the village. And it is also centrally located. Best picture!
