Staff always very friendly and accommodating. Right next to the tube. Good mix of films often showing the odd indie flick. IMAX screen plus all seats comfy recliners. One of the best ODEONs I've been to

Amazing customer service. We bought 2 vouchers for a movie, half an hour before it started, but when we got there their system for some reason shown that one of the vouchers was already used, which was not. It took them a while to figure the issue out but in the end they let us both watch the movie. They were very understanding and helpful. Also, seats were super comfy :D
A really well revamped cinema. The Luxe is large screens, with large reclining seats. Not the cheapest tickets but well worth it for big movie extravaganza such as Mission Impossible: Fallout.
can't fault the experience we had today, starting at the ticket desk. brilliant service and 'sorry to be a parent' but they age checked my 15 year old for Black Kklansman which is a 15 film. That means they are doing their job! Hashmina even showed us to the bus stop to get back home because we aren't locals. We will return!! xx
Actually a very good quality cinema that is grossly under-utilzed much of the time.
Benefits from whopping great big screens and a very civilised bar. The downside is that the volume often seems to be pitched for the hard-of-hearing - and is therefore, ironically, deafening to those that aren't.
Cinema is good. The layout of one of the screens isn't amazing. I prefer when the seats are on a slope. Popcorn is expensive, as with most cinemas today.
The IMAX screen here is a mixed bag (everything else is pretty standard so I'll just discuss the one reason you might come here as compared to literally any cinema elsewhere). The screen is large, as would be expected, and the double reclining seats are incredibly comfortable. The little tray things are a nice touch. However, a couple of concerns that for me at least make a return unlikely. They do not turn the lights down during screenings. They did not doing it during my one visit and I talked to someone else who said that had happened before. It was a surprising annoyance all through the two hour runtime of my film The double seats themselves, while comfy, are not the most fun to share with someone else. Its not the worst thing, but I wouldn't go without someone else, especially for the price
Nice cinema with reclining seats (I personally didn't find the seats that comfortable) but you could nod off in them if you were watching a boring film.
Parking here can be problematic if you are coming by car so you might want to think about using public transport to get here if you are not from the area.
Large steps to get into the cinema so don't bring Grandma here in her wheelchair.
Amazing screen, new Luxe recliner seats are fantastic. Went to see Spiderman today in 3D and was not disappointed. Service was good by everyone we came across. Parking here is fairly difficult.
This is a great local cinema, the renovation looks good and the screens are great. Just be warned, if the films long the seats can get a bit uncomfortable but you can always use the buttons to adjust your position
For us, this is one of the best cinemas we have ever been to and that is definitely because of the staff. Somehow we always feels really cozy in there. We have another Odeon Deluxe very close to where we live (Putney) but very often we prefer to all the way up here to Swiss Cottage Odeon. So big thumb UP for all the staff that works there. Thank you guys.
This was the cinema which I was looking for. Great place with a nice seats and high-quality screen. I really enjoyed the watching of all new movies for a cheap tickets. They have a nice bar with a friendly staff. I've heard something about their gift cards and I will try to take one next time.
small screen, poor visibility due to the seats being at an equal height. have been there once and will not get back. on the bright side - it was not crowded...
The IMAX theatre is great. The reclining chairs are amazing. I'm just incredibly frustrated by the railing blocking the view of about 10% of the screen at the bottom. Why?
All this attention to detail, and part obstructed view for the best seats? It gets worse the shorter you are and the more you recline. Which really tends to take the joy out of it. Other that, brilliant.
Refurbished with reclining sofas like watching a movie at home BUT not any different in pricing. Think it is slightly more expensive on weekends but well worth it.
Went to see a film on one of my empty nights while on vacation, could not have had a better time. Very comfortable seats, friendly staff, good popcorn.
I love this cinema. It's my first choice for going to see anything. Screen 1, the IMAX one, is plenty big enough for 3D blockbusters. Sound system is perfectly adequate. Seating is comfortable and the VIP seats even more so. The upstairs bar, The Ambar, is great too, and child friendly - we often go there even when not going to see a film. All in all, one of my favourite London cinemas and the one I use the most.
Staff were very helpful, took us in cinema so we could choose our seats. Recliner chairs were so comfortable worth an extra couple of quid just for the comfort factor. Using this cinema again.
Absolutely exquisite. Comfortable seating with plenty of leg room for tall people like myself. Love the reclining seats. The same couldn't be said for Camden where I am always uncomfortable due to lack of leg room.
Been using this cinema since I was a toddler for about thirty years now. Since becoming an IMAX it has really improved in many ways and is in general fantastic, with lovely facilities, a brilliant IMAX screen and wonderful cosy club screen.
Don't get me wrong based on the following critiques, this is a fabulous cinema, probably one of the best in a huge radius, but I had to knock off four half stars for various reasons:
1: It has to compete with the nearby Vue O2 cinema, the Odeon is clearly much nicer in the facilities it offers and comfort /luxury factor, but the Vue has more screens and as a result has a wider variety of films on offer; at times it seems like some movies only show at the odeon for a couple of days before being pulled, and some films don't even get a look in at all which is a shame, it could benefit from a better organised schedule perhaps.
2: It has a fantastic comfy bar upstairs which is woefully underused and often unmanned. I hate when I see this, I realise that some managers feel that there is no need to staff bars at quiet times, but if you fail to plan you plan to fail. There are many times I've wanted to go to the Ambar for pizzas and drinks before movies on my days off with friends, but I haven't because I know nine times out of ten it will not have staff there. Also, there are two sad little coffee shops nearby with an all day crowd of predominantly senior people which could easily be won over if they were aware that there were much more comfortable and similarly priced facilities at the Odeon, and the fact that the odeon offers a good senior discount for movies is a bonus. This is all revenue the cinema could easily capture with very little effort.
3: this is a problem I have with all cinemas today to be fair... Ushers that don't do their jobs. If there are noisy people or groups that sneak in and don't pay or sit in their allocated seats, put feet up on seats, or are generally disruptive during the film, they should be thrown out and /or banned from the cinema. This is something that is just ignored today. Thankfully however, this isn't much of a problem in this cinema as most of the time the crowd are great in this location, but in Camden and in south London it makes you wonder why cinemas employ ushers at all since they don't really seem to serve any purpose.
4: I wish they would show more films at later times, and more midnight premieres. Vue wins out here with films running further into the night unfortunately.
...
All in all this is a fantastic cinema with lots of potential and hopefully it will improve in these respects. On a side note the seats are very comfortable and staggered in a good way with nobody likely to block your view. Vip seating is fantastic, the chairs are much more comfortable than at the Vue although to be fair the Vue chairs are slightly more spacious, but both are suitably large.
Staff seem lovely, unfortunately better training might be useful as they are slow and sometimes it seems like it is the first day on the job for many of them, but they are approachable, pleasant, and friendly which is what really matters.
