Wonderful course, well taken care of. Great facilities.
Terrific golf course for the money. With 27 holes, you can get around of 18 in, in less than four and a half hours. Fairways are solid as well as the greens. The staff is very helpful and you see the cart girl about every 3 or 4 holes.
I liked the layout, friendliness of the staff. Course is great. Well maintained. Restaurant was good. Range balls not included is the only downside.
Great place, great service, greens were a bit rough as tobe expected this time of year.
Really good course. I was able to play it for very cheap in the summer and was happy with how green the course still was. Lots of water lining the fairways and greens which made it pretty difficult. Pick your shots carefully.
I am a snowbird and live in golf course community near Ocotillo, I like the staff, facilities, course, pace of play in the mornings, and food enough that I am a regular there now. The Water challenges keep me on my toes. The course needs to respect my game a little better and provide me some better scores is my only complaint.
Beware of the teaching pro Scott Power! It s very saddening a course like this would employ someone of such low moral character. Management is well aware of his shady practices.
Great overall course. Downsides--Lots of muddy spots on range. Clubhouse seemed more eager to take money and get people through the door and were impatient when asked questions. Pace of play was great on first 9, second 9 was terrible. 3 groups on 1 hole the entire second 9. Often 2 groups at the Tee waiting to play. Clubhouse didn't seem to care when called in to request a marshal to speed up play. Has lots of potential and a great layout. Just needs attention to detail to make the difference. Food was below average.
Great location, especially for a quick bite on the patio. Golf was great. Colin Campbell in the shop was super!
Amazing course! I will definitely be coming back soon!
No more practice balls included. Tee boxes uneven. Mud in some places, burnt in others. Slow greens, ball marks all over. Thouroughly disappointed in the "renovations"
Sign in the pro shop stated roped off holes were cart path only. That might lead the reader to believe there might have been a couple holes roped off. We played Gold to Blue and almost 50% of each of the nine holes were fully roped or partially roped. We had two elderly players with us who had to drop a few holes so we didn't lag behind. The bunkers were a mess.
A little bit challenging for beginner to mid level players though I really liked it. The fairways and greens are well manicured. Free range balls, the staff where nice to deal with, and bar is great to enjoy
The delicious food, the service and the incredible view . Had an awesome Mothers day Brunch. Love this place.
Tough Coarse. Better bring extra balls. Tons of water
Course in beautiful shape. Good service good food. Perfect weather.
Usually always in good shape. Club house is nice and the staff are friendly. Overall great day of golf anytime of the year.
Fun course but bring extra balls... tons of water hazards.
Fairways are good, greens are hammered. Tee boxes average. Course is really wet in a lot of areas
Great golf course. The staff was not friendly and they would not guarantee replay which was very disappointing for someone flying in from another state
Love this course. Lots of water, so I hope you re thirsty!
Best golf club in the valley! Excellent staff well kept and tidy grounds, great food and a real nice group of people.
Interesting course, even though on flat land. The houses and significant water features around the course give it good shape - the houses are set well back so never feel intrusive. Some tricky greens and good bunkering. Staff were friendly - outrageously priced diet coke in a cup of ice from the restaurant otherwise a really great experience.
It is an excellent course, when it is not abused. We found many divots and ball marks that were not repaired by previous golfers. The starter was informing golfers before hand but evidently no one cares.
Nice course. Lots of water. Kept very nicely. Greens are great.
Ocotillo's picturesque and plentiful water features, lush grassy fairways and luxury villas are guaranteed to give you an enjoyable and challenging golf experience, and certainly something a bit different from the classic desert courses of Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Great golf course always in a good shape bring a lot of balls water on every hole
I had a birthday party here and it was the most amazing experience in my life. The staff was so accommodating and the ambience was to die for. The food they provided was amazing. Overall, an amazing experience.
The guys at the clubhouse know their stuff and are super friendly. I always wish I have more time when I stop in, because they're always willing to chill and shoot the breeze with me. Their suggestions on golfing accessories has never failed me.
Nice course.
Not easy !!
Played on afternoon of 3/23/16. Staff was excellent. Turf condition was very poor on tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Got stuck behind a slow foursome (two elderly couples) that were more than a full hole out of position and there was no marshall or ranger to move them forward. Quit after 16 holes because it was going to be a 5 hour round versus 4 hour 10 minute par time. Truly disappointed. Not worth the $59.
I got married here and the staff was great and very accommodating but for some reason we started late? Everything was ready to go they just didnt start on time and then pushed things to go a little faster the rest of the wedding. Still had a great time here!
Great course with water on almost every hole. Condition of course was very nice. We played it in just under 4 hours with a full t sheet for the day!
Great golf course and in good condition. Really nice lay out, lots of water. Makes you think about how to play each hole.
we had brunch here for Mother's Day and it was wonderful !!
Lovely course. 9 or 18 holes. Great food at the restaurant. Friendly staff.
(12/01/19) Review from 6.1 HDC player.
Great course, I mean great. Lots of water hazards create a shot makers paradise. Poor service, tournament ran out of food.
(Update 12/3/19)
Course representative reached out regarding running out of food during tourney. Apologized and offered to make it right.
Review updated from 2/5 to 4/5 based on followup service.
Course isn't bad. Not the best shape, but it is August. Heard the starter tell someone to "go back to where you came from." Obviously racist. Tried speaking to the manager, he brushed me off. Conlee, the cart girl was mortified by the starter's comments. First and last time I'll golf there. Plenty of courses in that area that are cheaper and better maintained without the racism.
Beautiful course and an amazing choldren's golf coach!!!!!
Played today almost all holes were roped off no big deal but I think Phil would be appalled at the condition of his bunkers they were absolutely unplayable very disappointed.
