Total disappointment! Ordered a simple bean cheese burrito without rice, to go. When I got home it was full of rice and vegetables. Never again!

The food was a great find. It's awesome that they serve till 1am and the margaritas get a 10 . The jalapeno hickory burgers made my boyfriend cry. Lol. But overall I loved to place good atmosphere great service and satisfying menu. Plus it's easy on your pocket book. I recommend it over any other later night Mexican food place.

Terrible food. The meat was nothing but gristle. The mahi was chewy and flavorless. The taco salad was served in a large tortilla lined bowl instead of a deep fried bowl as described.

Great Mexican food at bargain prices, especially for N Scottsdale! Only 3 choices taco / burrito / plate & salads. Pick one and pick a meat filling. The fish and shrimp are great. Try the Mexican shrimp cocktail, awesome! Open late every night and happy hour until 8! Great tequila selection. Lots of families there, even though it looks like a bar. A local favorite.
We had multiple items, tacos/nachos/burritos/cheese crisp.. all fantastic!! Couldn't believe the chicken on one of our plates.. big pieces, very moist and tasted great. Would highly recommend this place!!

Quaint local bar, without the pretentious vibe, even though it is in North Scottsdale. Brendon is an amazing bartender! Tip him well. This is one of the few places to grab food until 1am. In addition, the crowd is usually laid back, and welcoming.
The menu was fairly simple. Not too much to choose from among meals. It was okay. Not impressed.
If you are looking for authentic mexican don't come here. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews because I'm not a negative person and that also means I didn't have the best experience. Service was great, can't take away praise there but it lacked atmosphere. Very very americanized setting and food. My gf took one bite of the tacos trio plate and we had to send it back. Again I hate having to do that, I didnt even like my burrito but theres no in He** I would send both plates back. I just feel bad, ended up paying for the burrito I took 2 bites out of just too throw it away when we got home. Not worth giving a second chance either in my opinion.
Nice atmosphere for casual date night. Chips were delicious and salsa bar was quite clever, with spicy options for me. Beef and steak tacos were delicious. Only disappointment was retried beans which tasted like flour. Check it out.

dinner tonight was Great! Chicken Kabobs were the best-very tender. Hummas was really good, not so much garlic like most places. Hubby had the lamb chops, very tender and good. Order and pay at the counter, they bring it to you. Bakery and Bar there too. The wraps looked good, next time. Looks like enough to share! Will go back for sure!!!

This place is awesome but they need more servers on. There is usually only 2 servers and the place is PACKED. It takes fooooorever to get served. It's ridiculous when you're on a lunch break. The servers are great but they have no time. It's frustrating.

Best Margarita in the area. Cozy little place, with really good food, tasty house made salsas, and friendly service. In a way, I'm glad it's 15 miles from my home, otherwise I'd be indulging on the delishious Margs way too often.

Very nice, comfortable restaurant with really good food and excellent service. The margaritas were right on. The steak and shrimp tacos were excellent. If you're into salsa, they have a salsa bar where you can try mild to hot, as much as you want.
The bar area was friendly and spanned both inside and out. Martin, the bartender, was top-notch. Friendly clientele too. I'll go back.
I ordered here plenty of times but today is the last straw : 2 burritos and a bag of chips took more than 2 hours to be delivered, food is cold as usual, some things are missing from what I ordered. No apologies from the restaurant or the delivery guy. I strongly advise you not to order here. I won't order here anymore. Simply disrespectful for the customer.

Went with friends tonight. Sara couldn't have been kinder, she patiently worked to help me with food choices. Having a longer list of things I can't eat due to Alpha Gal (lone star tick bite), is not always taken seriously. Sara, checked with the kitchen, and rechecked, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great dining experience tonight.... We'll be back!!

This place has a great happy hour and their salsa bar has a ton of choices. Staff is usually friendly (everyone has an off day from time to time) and super responsive. It can get a little busy during happy hour, which makes it hard to find a table some times, but they do have a patio which is nice when it's not 120 degrees outside.
My wife and have been coming here for 3yrs. Best Margaritas in town!!! The food is good. You can create certain dish provided they have ingredients. Service is top notch!!! Will be going to JJ's for years to come!
