Not worth your buck! Not scary, not entertaining.
They have like 3 scarers per 25 cars. We probably had 3 interactions. Was not worth our drive or the money we spent. We assumed we were in waiting rooms half the show, that s how bad it was.

We go every other weekend for the swap meet! People are very friendly! It s a large gathering of everything imaginable just about! The lemonade located behind the info desk in the middle is the best! The food is kind of expensive. It gets a lot of foot traffic so they can bump the price I suppose. It s a great place to get some quality items! Have fun!

Will not return to this Fair after my recent visit...

Will not return to this Fair after my recent visit. I was harassed the whole time I was there because I was using my Segway which was cleared at the front gate! Now entering the fair 5 mins in, some old guy in a yellow shirt sitting down not doing squat getting paid to be a fair attended\helper stopped me to call someone else. Now I'm getting a little upset.

Second guy shows up security supervisor Reggie, tells me I can't use it at the fair! Why is my question. Because this and that BS he comes up with. So I told him I want a refund and I will leave! But after reading the ADA form the paperwork clearly states that anyone with the correct state paperwork is allowed to use these types of mobility devices.

Now I'm completely cleared to go about my way for the day. Night shift comes on later in the day, at this time I'm harassed 5 more times before I'm forced to leave because one person says I can't use it. Didn't think that a county Fair would test disabled people this way. What a shame is all I can say and this matter needs to be addressed by the state in my opinion. I will be filing a complaint about this matter ASAP!

Fun and full of cool vendors but as expected it's kind of over priced. While I expected and accept the fact that the artists won't be cheap as they need to make money, the food was a little over priced. But they didn't cheat you on serving sizes, at least the food I got. Hope they have the butterfly garden exhibit next year, best 2 dollars I've spent in a long time.

Here at the urban legends and is worth every penny! My daughter got a little scared but that is expected. Lines 1-3 are the best to see the ending of the show. A little under an hour from beginning to end of the show. Didn't know what to expect was worth the money! Don't waste your money on food either not worth it, enjoy!!!

The OC Fair (same as the LA Fair just a different fairground) is a lot of fun. There are animals and exhibits and sometimes shows. There's tons of food, most of which will give you a heart attack, but some of which is worth it. The rides are kinda scary... how much do you trust the ride attendants? Overall, it's a fun way to spend a day.

Security was a joke. I couldn't bring my Leatherman Micra but if a girl has a purse and sticks one in her wallet then it could easily get through since they don't ask girls to open their purses. Event was good though, I liked seeing the piglets and food.

Who cares about parking. Bring 5 items of clothes you don't need and get in for free. Excellent place for family. Wrist band worth it. Bring cash because a lot of vendors don't have debit cards acceptance. Expensive but well worth it. Try the ribs and all the snacks you see. Bring plenty of water and a hat and shades ; sunblock cream. We had awesome time

Fun environment, the rides are actually pretty thrilling, the food is good, but the only thing is some staff come off rude and ruin the experience. Might as well come in the morning when everyone starts their day.

First time at the OC Fair and was pleasantly surprised. Parking is $9 and there was plenty of spots available. Bought tickets to the fair in advance through Eventbrite and that made it very easy to just walk up to the front, get a little stamp on the hand and ready to go in. At the entrance there are lots of event photographers aggressively trying to get your photo so you can buy it when you exit. Don't personally recommend those pictures but if you do, then make sure to get them here. There is a huge selection of food so over the fair. From cotton candy, to popcorn, ice cream, hot dogs, BBQ, and much more. There are good stands and a couple of sit down places. In terms on attractions, there are many carnival style rides at the furthest end of the fair. In between, you can enjoy their holiday lights on the left side of the fair. It's quite extensive. There's a little train that you can take instead of walking. In the middle of the fair there is the skating rink. To the right, you can do tubing. There are two small indoor markets where you can buy crafts, clothes, and food or drinks. At the very back, there is the stage where you can enjoy different performers throughout the night. Overall, it's a fun place with lots of things to do with the whole family. Please like this review of you found it helpful :)

It's nice but really expensive
The ferris wheel was 20 tickets which is about equivalent to $20. I can go to the spectrum and enjoy a ride for $5

Most important thing for me was that you could, bring in your own water. My son in law did without a problem. I had to pay $2.75 for a small water.
Went early and had a nice time. Food was festive and good. Exhibits interesting. Games and rides fun to play and to watch.
Very clean and organized venue. Will go again with my purse full of waters.

i don t give one star reviews lightly but i m bothered by what happened yesterday. my wife has a TSA approved Leatherman Squirt Es4 on her keychain and the security guard refused to let her in without confiscating the item. when i protested that it was tsa compliant his response was you re not getting in while one of his other goon friends chimed in as backup. he stated i would have to stash it or take it to my vehicle. when i mentioned i had taken a shuttle he said stash it somewhere or take it back to your car.

there was a line starting to build behind me and to be courteous i took the item back to my vehicle losing 25-45 minutes of family time. here s the kicker. i let it go figuring it s best for all parties inside the fair to be safe and if they were enforcing this policy even on TSA compliant items then it was all good.

while going through the vendors i found the following items being sold inside the oc county fair. please review pictures.

how are you going to refuse TSA compliant multi tool items through security check while selling 6 -18 blades inside the fair? how is this in line with security policy of not allowing compliant tools inside the fair?

ban sales of dangerous blades within the fair or allow tsa compliant tools entry into the fair.

It's kind of hard to leave a single review for the entire center. The OC Fair is a lot of fun, and there's something for almost everyone. As a former OCC student, I also parked here for school. There also several other events on the ground. It's good fun.

Visited the Japan Fair, and the Centennial Farm. Started out at the Pumpkin Patch but pumpkin prices were too expensive and only a few things for small children. Petting zoo was $3.00 to get in.

We used to enjoy coming here instead of the crowded malls at Christmas to find unique gifts, however the past 2 years a lot of the venders have disappeared and the shopping adventures have proven very disappointing.
May have to start a new tradition next year.

We had an incredible time at OC Winter Fest tt1his year! The entry line moved quickly and we suddenly found ourselves greeted by a lovely, cheery photographer who didn't mind taking a few extra shots. As we skipped into this county fair winter setting, I talked to a gentleman about a free vacation as my boys went to play in the side of snow. When I was done, I joined them in a few toboggan rides down a 15ish foot slope.
Once they had their fill of throwing snowballs, as though they were re enacting the scene from"Elf", we wandered along to a snowboard simulation ride. My little one played on a pint-sized bounce house as the two older ones moshed alongside a slightly older bunch in a maze. We then heard music, not too far. The boys enjoyed hot cocoa as they watched Santa and his brigade of elves, a marylin looking songstress, and dancing presents say farewell to Christmas. A snowmachine gently flew snowflakes on the crowd as we walked around the corner to a typical, American carnival game area. We went in a very tame fun house and played a couple games..
It was a fun way to spend Christmas evening. Definately going to go again next year!

It has changed a lot to more commercialized eateries with the same food locations throughout the fair. No unusual foods that would shock you but still very expensive. Drinks of all kinds average 13 dollars. Meals cost 22 dollars for the good food choices. Average rides are up tp 10 tickets or more. With 100 tickets you will get about ten rides. Gaming cost the same as the rides. There were more farm animals this year and l love the animal stamping trails for free kid prizes. The fun walking dinosaur Trail cost $5 and so do other walk-through locations within the park. I spent $250 easily with just myself and my son. Not including parking, gas, and Waters. We had an AWESOME TIME. Concerts average $65 which I did not attend. I wanted to see Babyface and Boyz II Men they sounded great Monday the 5th of September. There were no long lines that day. Had the weather been hotter they would have definitely needed more water spraying locations to help cool you down. Please come prepared with hats and sunscreen because there are not a lot of shade locations.
