ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
On March 12, 2021 I ordered a meal online from Chuck's Road house. The cost of the meal was $24.89 (all in). I had authorized a 10% tip. When I picked up my order I noticed that the amount charged was $51.92. I showed the charge to the onsite employee who was also shocked at the charge and went on to advise that although they couldn't refund the fee there - head office could. They also advised that they don't actually receive those tips and that I could ask for a refund of $27.03. I contacted the organization the next day and left a voice message. The company never returned any of my calls - although I knew they were received as the receptionist advised that she personally forwarded them to the individual that was to resolve the issue (" Sarah"). Sarah did not return my calls until I called back to advise that I would be escalating my complaint. Only then did she call. I explained the situation to her and sent a screen shot of the transaction. She advised it was probably a problem with the site/app'n and that she would take care of it. Today she has still not responded to calls nor emails.

Got a note when I left a review for the chucks aurora to email social media at obsidian to discuss my concern. I did do that and so did another friend of mine and we both never got a reply to our email. I believe it is important to follow through on what you commit and this company has failed to reply to either of us after a week which is a failed commitment and just blowing smoke

Had the worst experience dealing with the brothers...

Had the worst experience dealing with the brothers to purchase a franchise. We ended up walking away and I'm so grateful. There is no support from the franchise owners, they will try to take as much as they can from you and leave you with nothing. Definitely avoid, just some kids with no experience trying to run a company to the ground.

I'm not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from. I've dealt with Obsidian for years. They are a very good franchisor in my opinion. I think sometimes franchisees have an unrealistic idea of what owning an Obsidian franchise means. It's not a "put your feet up and count the money" proposition. You have to work. But if you do, and if you follow their rules and their model, they will support you all the way. Chris Sideris from their head office in particular, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Five stars from me.

We have worked for them on multiple projects back ...

We have worked for them on multiple projects back in January, 2020. Now it's September, 2020 and they are still not paying. Apparently they are known NOT to pay their sub-contractors. If you consider doing any sub-contracting trade work for Obsidian Group or Chuck's Roadhouse, think again (!) as you may never see any money out of the Obsidian Group or Chuck's Roadhouse. The Obsidian Group has owed us about $5,000 for the last 8+ months. Chuck's Roadhouse is under Obsidian Group - it's best not to do any work for them - unless you are doing a charity work for them, i.e. for free. Be cautious when you consider doing any work for Obsidian Group or Chuck's Roadhouse.

Sent a complaint NO RESPONSE!!!! about a negative experience at the chucks roadhouse in Ajax. My mother and my sons bday dinner was spoiled by a rude and arrogant manager and the food was not satisfactory, the manager refused to fix the over cooked steak brought out and was arrogant in his response and ignorant to food service standards.
The fact that my complaint is not taken seriously or addressed tells me they do not care about there customers or franchises.
