Horrible we spent $200 bucks for ticket to tube twice! They pack you in to wait to get on the lift to go up to line up to tube. They created TWO lines?????? then you wait another 5 minutes to go down. I do t know why the changed they way they Used to do it ???? Before we really enjoyed spending our hard earned cash to do this with our family members. You would line up and at least tube 15 times before your hour is up! To crowded too many people now during your hour and the belt can t hold the amount of people they are Trying to shove on at once I guess we are all paying for the new cover they placed over the belt! Don t waste your money!!

A must visit when in the area. Beautiful views, great skiing in the winter. Fun place to take the the family or a date.
Highly recommend taking the ride up to see all it has to offer inside & out.
Motorcycles park for free as an added bonus.

First visit in more than 30 years. With my wife and two small children. Took the sky tram and had an absolute blast.

Even in the Covid era the staff was very safe and friendly. Price was not bad at all for the spectacular views.

Will be coming back sooner rather than later!

This is a great place to have fun with family and friends. You get to do a lot of things and fun activities. Booking things like tubing would be a good idea because the place is very busy. They have ice skating and a coaster as well. Because you get to go there on a tram, you get to have fun riding and you get to take beautiful pictures. The only downside is that they place is very packed and you will have to wait a long time in lines.

Great place and location definitely worth the tram ride up I was in Gatlinburg once before and never knew that was up the mountain you can also drive your self up the mountain make sure you go with a lower percentage of rain if possible they will shut the rides down weather permitting.

Ok

Just did the snow tubing and wildlife encounter. Went at end of February in off-season. Wasn't more than 50 people snow tubing with us so we got to go probably 20 times in an hour and a half. Had a blast, but really appreciated the conveyor belt to drag my tired self back up the hill each time. Wildlife encounter I could have passed on. Bears were out sleeping in the sun (67 degrees in Feb). Otters were walking around but water level was very low and underground viewing area was roped off. ***Make sure you take the tram if possible*** Did not love the trip up the mountain and the drive down was worse.

A must do! so much to do and if you get the wristband it's a really really good deal. We spent probably 6 or so hours here and could of easily spent more. A decent amount of food options (although overpriced) staff was friendly and most were helpful with questions or to get around. The ice skates need some updating but we enjoyed ourselves. The coaster slide and coaster are a must. Activities change based on the season, so we're looking forward to going back in a few months. The facility is clean and you constantly see staff cleaning and picking up

Staff and service were pretty good. The instructor on snowboarding, Josh was definitely on point for us. He went over the basics and safety very thoroughly. Other staff members I had trouble understanding, what to do and where to go do to there accents and poor English. All in all great trip loads of fun

This place has gone down hill. The wait was 2+ hours to get down on the tram. Drive your car there and don t spend the $20 per person for the tram. As much money as they make they should have bus service as well versus the tram only. The bartenders in the lounge were hands down the worst bartenders I ve ever seen. I will never be going back.

We arrived not knowing much about Ober. Our family road the aerial tram up the mountain simply looking for a restaurant to eat at. We found an assortment of shops, ice skating and rides. We road the ski lift up the rest of the mountain for a stunning view of Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.

We apparently went at a weird time in the season. Some attractions were open, some closed, some delayed. There were issues finding where they were selling attraction tickets. It was still fun; we enjoyed going.

If you are a military veteran you will feel at home here.
1-2 hour lines for everything!
There's a 1 hr line for parking
1 hr line for tickets
A 1 hr line for equipment (jacket, bib, helmet) rental
ANOTHER equipment (boots, skis, board) line
A line for lockers
A 2hr line at every (2) snack bar they have open
A 1 hr line to enter the incredibly over packed and undersized snow school area
2-3 hr line for the tram up/down the mountain.

We were in the parking line at 8:30. We got our skis on snow at 12:50. By then our girl scouts troop were starving and cranky from waiting so long in endless lines.. so we had to stand in line for another hour to eat before skiing.. We will not be bringing my family here again as this seems to be the normal operating procedure and I cannot see this ever being enjoyable to a family. My daughters were so thrilled leading up to this trip and it was such a bust we didn't come back for day 2 of our tickets because the hassle of the first day was so overwhelming. We hung out in pigeon forge where we can avoid Ober Chaos

Waited two hours to get up there and then they said parking full. Ridiculous. They need to be more organized and put signs from the bottom letting
people know. Let s also mention the rude employees. Don t waste your time!

Very reasonable prices ($40 per person for a 4 hour lift ticket and skis) and fun place to go. If you have skied other places before and are pretty decent you might get bored skiing here all day because there aren't a lot of trails but we went for the night (6-10 pm) and had a great time! This would be a fun place to bring your family and I would definitely recommend you stop by while in Gatlinburg.

Fun spot for the family, a bit outdated. Staff was friendly and everything was mostly clean. Huge money grab, as everything cost money per event. Food at snack stands is below average, kids had cheeseburgers and brats, soft pretzels might have been the worst I've had anywhere. Fudge shop was fun to watch, but fudge was also below average. Views and rides were good and fun but be ready to spend some money.
