Very popular, very urban, very crowded, very littered -- a worthwhile cultural experience if dark streets, train trestles, tall chain-linked fences, clothes air drying on bannisters of nearby apartments, carloads of people sitting in parked cars along the curbs, men on bikes and men kneeling on sidewalks, street vendors, and discarded bottles, bags, cups, clothes and food don't alarm you

The coliseum wasn't great when it was new, but by today's standards it's outright awful for a ballpark. Seats are way too far from the field, scoreboards are small, seats too small and uncomfortable. Food selection is rather good though and prices are better than other parks. Head across the bay door a much better baseball experience.

The Coliseum's getting long on tooth, but the A's rededication to the coliseum is winning my heart. Cheapest Beer in the MLB and the opportunity to see world class baseball at a discount price leaves me satisfied.

I enjoy going to the Oakland Raiders events and home games there, and other events they host here. Handicap sitting & parking is available. Friendly staff, clean, and children are welcome. Children welcome.

We had a fantastically fun evening here! Great entertainment surrounded by fun fans from both teams. More like going to Fulham than Arsenal but a real old school stadium and all the better for it! Cheers Oakland A's!!

This venue has improved over the years. The food vendors have better tasting quality food and drinks are expensive but there are more options now including mixed drinks and craft beers. Took Fremont BART into the stadium which is faster and cheaper than driving and paying for parking.. Bonus yhe A's won in the bottom of the 9th inning!

Went to an A's/Giants game. Being a spoiled AT&T brat, I found the Oakland stadium quite enjoyable. I would go back. I like that you can still tailgate there. What was really cool they let us on the field to watch the fireworks after the game.

Went here for a Raiders game. Parked in a lot across the freeway and it was super easy to get in and out. Crowds moved fast. Food options in the club section weren't too great. Overall facilities were just okay but the Raider Nation vibe was terrific.

They had an area between the coliseum and Oracle Arena with food trucks, a small bar, and games. It was really nice.
The A's are a fun team to watch and the fireworks after the game (7/29) were good. Overall the coliseum is an eyesore as it is all just concrete. New video boards are an improvement, but more needs to be done to make this a nicer place to see games.

Biased, yes. The Oakland Coliseum has been part of my life for 50 years. It has come a long way in half a century. Improvements to food and drink options are great. Clean, but rowdy. After all, it is still the home to the Raiders. The security detail provides safety that I hadn't seen 10 years ago. Loud, but I consider it a safe place to enjoy a ball game.

I want to love this place because of the history and the Beautiful architecture I love being inside of a building that has a story to tell however prices are too high for baseball game especially for a team that hasn't won the World Series in 30 years $10 for a beer $10 for a frozen personal Pizza $30 for parking honestly I couldn't really enjoy myself

Yes it s old but you can t beat the baseball atmosphere. There s plenty of new seating areas and lots of good food including food trucks and a few awesome bar areas for groups to hang out and watch a game. I m a bleacher fan myself but there is truly an option for everyone here and best of all its affordable!

I really enjoy going to A's game. This summer was the first time going with my kids (10 months, and 3 yr). The kids zone was excellent. Game day was very hot and this was a great place to cool off, have some fun and eat our lunch. They had a little playground, fun statues and other picture opportunities. There was also a breastfeeding/pumping room, picnic tables, and was near concessions and bathrooms. Plus several TVs to watch the game.
The Coliseum is definitely old, but they are doing a great job to make sure A fans have a great experience.

Home of the Oakland Athletics and the soon to be gone (good riddance) Oakland Raiders. This is actually a good place to watch a ball game, despite yo changes made to lure So Davis and his thieving organization back to Oakland. BART is a short walk away.

In our quest to see all the Major League Baseball parks in America we recently went to Oakland. The stadium is out of yesteryear. In fact it s the only dual purpose stadium left in baseball. The Oakland Raiders play there for at least 2 more years. The stadium reminded me of the movie Major Leagues complete w fans that band drums in the outfield

We sat in seats very close to the field at some of the best prices in America. It was Tuesday night so that makes sense. The announced attendance was 11,467, but there were likely fewer actual attendees.

We left a bit early and took the Bay Area Rapid Transit for the way home. It was fine; however, be warned the ride over can be jam-packed. We travelled over from San Francisco so we did run into commuting traffic at 5:30pm. If I could I d leave a little earlier next time or just be prepared and I ve been on NY, London and Chicago subways this is just a bit tighter experience. The people on the subways and at the stadium are all very friendly and helpful to out-of towners.
