It's always a joy to see the A's play in the facility it slowly gets better over the years as improvements are made but this still is an ancient Stadium with poor bathrooms and the seats are too far from the field. This is the only baseball team that has to share a stadium with a football team in major league baseball. Oakland please construct a downtown Stadium.

Under the bright Californian sun, it's a concrete, bare-footed, deadly structure. "HOME of CHAMPION" is now too long now. The stand is also rattle. MLB / NFL's only stadium where you can feel the "wabi-sabi" which is an aesthetic sense unique to Japanese people.

On the other hand, MLB Athletics (aka A's: AIDS), which is home to this site, is the first team to incorporate various data into baseball in earnest, and it is modernistic. It also became a movie. (Blapi starring "Moneyball")

If it is a night game on weekdays, the first floor of the back of the net may be around $ 30, which is cheap. If you want to see it, the third floor (UPPER RESERVED) is recommended. About $ 15-20. Seats are designated but practically free. "VALUE DECK" with a $ 6 coupon is even more valuable. By the way, the hot dog is just $ 6.

It's in a place where security is not good, but it's OK if you take a train called BART with the crowd. More than that, the problem is that a large group of gulls fly over to drop in the evening. I have raised two bird-shaped eagles, but they seem to have little effect.

It is a stadium that can be recommended to the Mariners, Angels and Yankees fans for Japanese players. 20 minutes from San Francisco by BART. It is safe to wear an away team uniform. When baseball is held, it is peaceful, but the Raiders match is killed.
The Raiders will also move to Las Vegas from 2020, unfortunately.

Massive dump, no drainage for when it rains; our seats were surrounded by water 3" deep to where we couldn't put our feet down; it had rained a few hours before our event. Section 215 Row 1 is an absolute joke due to the amount of foot traffic that walks in front of your seats, the bathrooms need updating big time and the staff were very unknowledgeable in terms of where to go around the stadium (we asked three event staff members and got 3 different answers that were all wrong). Not the place you want to be after dark; stick within crowds and watch your valuables.

The only positive is the BART access and the selection of beer / food is much better then some other ball parks.

I always love baseball stadiums! And this one is very cool, but it is a little run down. There are parts that are just abandoned. I would definitely go again, but Oakland can use an upgrade.

This place may be considered a dump by most, but I think it has tons of charm. The A's are putting in a lot of work on improvements too, like the new Treehouse. It's great to have a beer on the balcony while watching a few innings during a day game. Food options have been improving too, like the loaded dogs by the first baseline, or the food truck patio between Oracle arena and the Coliseum.

Best of all, $15 gets you a seat anywhere in the top deck. Just walk up to the day-of-game window and you won't even have to pay any additional ticket fees!

Nice

Great seats but definitely outdated construction.....

Great seats but definitely outdated construction...not enough exits/Gates and concession lines are way too long. Alcohol sales stop at halftime so be prepared for that disappointment

The Oakland Coliseum is a fun place to catch an Oakland Athletics game. They have recently upgraded their facility and made some cool (and family friendly) improvements. They have upgraded some of their food choices as well. You can choose from a variety of chicken sandwich, hot dogs, sausages, burgers, nachos, as well as dine restaurant style in the upper deck. I love the changes they made to the East wing and how it is more family oriented. There are games for kids and a little play and sitting area for toddlers!

I want to complain about a problem that happened today, Wednesday, May 29, 2019. I bought 2 hotdogs and I never got them. Supposedly, on of the workers said that he gave my 2 hotdogs to one of my friends. My friend bought 4 hotdogs, and I knew that, but when I went to tell the worker, he said that he only bought 2, and the other 2 were mine, which it wasn t true because my friend bought the 4 I never got my food, and I was starving. However, I had a great experience for my first time in a baseball game. It was fun, people were nice and cool. I m an 8th grade student. Thanks for reading.

Coliseum is old and consist of many funny smells. With the exception of the food trucks, the food in the stadium always taste stale. Basically the coliseum is a S$!T hole, but it's ours and I have many memories of baseball and football tailgating. Therefore I love the coliseum and always will.
