Class venue that'd I love to play one day

Seen pixies here and was amazing for sound, lighting and spacing

Bars everywhere too which is always good for it

I would like a real person to answer the phone my daughter is coming next week to see neck deep. As she is disabled need to make sure there is somewhere for her to be able to sit down. All I get is a machine

They didn't provide enough seats for disabled/older guests at a gig I went to last year, after shutting the entire seated area without warning.

I've tried to contact management about it but got no response - was really disappointed as my mum has had surgery and can't stand for long periods of time, so couldn't enjoy the gig we'd been looking forward to for months.

Cool

Myself and my husband have mobility problems but there was no need for us to be nervous about where we would sit, as I sent the venue an email about our conditions and when we got to O2 Academy in Glasgow we were permitted to gain access to reserved seating area of our choice, staff are professional, Curtis and could not do enough to make our night enjoyable, 5* are minimal for help we got, I would give them 10* if I could, no brainer, we will use this venue again and recommend to family and friends

Customer service was appealing, treated like a piece of sh**. VIP or not. Lost my coat number (that I paid for) and tried to claim I was a liar, don't think I'll be going there again. It was a troye sivan concert so maybe the staff were slight homophobic, it is Scotland after all

First time at this venue which in its previous life was a cinema. My gig was The Travelling Wilburys Experience so myself and most of the audience required lots of seats!!! Interesting venue with a very period feel about it.

Quite like the 02 Academy as a music venue - saw Snoop Dogg, Pharrell & Chicane here.

Plenty of bars, no big queues for drinks, plenty of toilets. Plus the staff are always very helpful.

We went to the academy for Dropkick Murphy's. We bought the tickets on O2 priority not realising we didn't have the opportunity doing this to purchase balcony. My partner has MS so standing for three hours can be a real problem as such. We got in touch with academy staff ahead of the show and they kept us a seat at the edge of the floor that was raised enough to see the stage perfectly. Staff could not have been more helpful with us. Honestly this is how all venues should be re disabilities. Couldn't praise them enough.

I personally find this venue a bit awkward to get to unless you drive. The venue itself is dated and in need of an upgrade with little or no seated area's and the toilets we're poor. On a plus the gig was excellent (king king) and the sound was great.

Looking really tired. Its also unacceptable having two or three ladies toilets on the ground floor in the main gig venue when there are hundreds of people there. Wish that there would be a little investment in this amazing venue.

Wheelchair client care for my son was good. He had a blast and after the show a lovely steward cleared the way through right to the road so he could get out of the crowds. Will definitely go back.

Not the biggest venue I've been to, but good. Straight, easy entrance for those who want to be in the first row. From the outside it doesn't look very nice, but it's not really that important.

Terrific intimate gig atmosphere. Terrific acoustics.
I don't know if it's a house P. A. system but it was the best audio quality I have heard at any gig I've ever been at. My first was in 1970!
I'll be back for future gigs.

Good to have a bar serving throughout the event and many people enjoyed this too judging by the amount of tumblers left on the floor. Stage not too high so the relationship between performer and audience was good.
Cleaners worked hard to keep the toilets clean and fresh throughout the show.
