Lots of goodies to eat when you're doing a training there. Small cupcakes, macarons, croissants in the morning and coffee! Never ending coffee, thank God!

Hotel ok except they didn't have a room for the first night and they sent me to Ibiza.

Great location, nice facilities, and great big rooms--it is a business hotel, but at least the family room we stayed I was more like a small house rental and quite nice with a view over the back street.

Novotel never disappoints. Comfortable and silent room. Excellent location in the center of Ghent.

Only been in the bar and had bad experience. No table service and expensive. More than 4 for an alcohol-free beer can count. Messy bar, three old dried-up Christmas trees with heaps of needles on the floor .... not a pleasant experience.

Pleasant atmosphere in Gourmet Bar and restaurant. Rel limited menu but well-adapted dishes according to season and quality. Lunch menu from Monday to Monday. so is varied, beautiful portions, always very tastefully and very well presented. Friendly service.

Great hotel and breakfast in a beautiful city. Everything wonderful in the heart of the city and within walking distance. In terms of cosiness and hospitality, it could be a little more atmospheric, but that is also great in the many bars in the area. Overall nice visit!

Would love to stay back in hotel very nice place to be. Wished could have been upgraded as being a gold member but nevertheless nice place.

The car park is very very very narrow to get in and out we booked room with car park so was easier. Outside hotel is directly the city center and it is very comfortable to walk across to anything actually.

Hsk need to improve when I ask for additional bath gel and shampoo they give 1 set each. We are four people two adults and two kids!!!

Nice hotel rooms with good service. Right in the center, good location near the Christmas market. Nice bar where you can get a good beer. Sunday 12 o'clock check out

My wife and I and a friend came to consume a drink, and maybe take a dip in the pool.we were informed by the hotel manager that we couldn t take a swim unless we were guest at the hotel! That wasn t a issue, then we wanted to consume a drink, and the barmaid came and reminded us we couldn t take a swim, while we were having a conversation, this barmaid of Novotel gent had the audacity to touch my hair, in a degrading way , while we saw other people who weren t guest from the hotel, taking a swim in their pool! I personally didn t like their approach and I felt like I was a victim of discrimination! In 2018 this is impossible! I will never ever want to be a guest at a Novotel, even if it means I have to pay more for an other hotel! I hope this barmaid gets a training how to treat people in a normal way, especially if they re not from the same ethnicity! It s a form of discrimination, and the worse is if you re working in a hotel...

Nice rooms with good beds, bathroom has been renovated and looks very neat. The breakfast is very extensive and the bar has a good food and drink menu. The location is great! Right in the center.
We have stayed here for three days with our 14 month old daughter. Staff was very helpful, speaks good Dutch, French and English.

cold plates when you get hot food. waited so long got our dinner, reception was unfriendly, very disappointing

A very outdated hotel with much needed to be renovated. The only plus side is the location that is close to everything a tourist wants. Other than that the hotel is def not in the condition of 4 star and not feeling like the usual quality of Novotel.

Very nice hotel in the center of Ghent. I stayed there one night (Sunday to Monday) with my three children and we payed around 130 EUR for one night incl. breakfast and parking in the garage. Very reasonable. Room was nice and spacious. Should I pick one thing that could be improved then it would be that the toilet and the bath room was separated so that you had to go to the bath room to wash your hands after using the toilet.

Ghent is a very nice and cozy little town. Well worth a visit.

The positive part of the hotel is 10-15 min walk to the center the negative has no parking park is very impossible mission and if you do it either in the parking that is just below the hotel or in the blue zone is expensive! The hotel is fine although a refurbishment in the rooms could not hurt, clean bathroom, restaurant very well! Great staff very friendly and speak Spanish.

Great Bar. Family too. Is ok. Food selection in bar good but could do with pasta or pizza options for the children. I'd stay again as location us fantastic

Good hotel, but ask for a poolside room otherwise the street is a little noisy, especially in the morning (cleaning truck, garbage cans etc.)

We loved it, it is a hotel as corporate, its spacious rooms with armchairs, you have coffee machine, all A1. So far my best hotel to be 3 stars. 100% recommendable.

Hotel is fresh and good bedroom...
breakfast was ok, but change a lot during the days.
Monday was fresh orange juice and fresh fruits
Tuesday and wed was bottle juice and the fruit was so green yet that I couldn t eat. Better not had Slice them.

But if you think about geography was good, plenty of good restaurants around

Nice hotel, in city centre. Breakfast costs an arm and a leg, as does parking! When we stayed, avoided breakfast and ate as Hema, 6 items for 7 euros or before 11:00 coffeee for 1 euro at Exki!

Not really nice at the reception where despite seeing that we are Italians speak very fast English ... Good rooms and breakfast

This very in the center of the old town of Gsnte, is mininalista, ecological and attention is good.
Recommendable.

We stayed in 3 hotels of the chain (Brussels, Ghent and Bruges): here is the smallest room. For a family of 4, the room is outrageously small. In fact, one large bed with narrow aisles. A view of a blank wall 2 meters away (that is, the room is also dark), there is not enough lighting.
The service is great.
Breakfasts are expensive, 20 per adult (did not take)

The hotel is right in the centre, but getting there by car is a pain. You really need to know where you are going.
Lots of cafes and restaurants are close by so there was no need to have breakfast and dinner hotel. If you need to park a car have look at the google maps.

Ewn net hotel in the center of Ghent. Located with the front door on the Christmas market route. The rooms are neat and spacious. Because the hotel is outdated, it is a bit noisy. At the on-site Gourmet bar you can have a nice drink or eat a three-course dinner.

Its location is superb. Straight within the center. Hotel is ok. I think the rooms have a good size but feel outdated. No sphere within the room. Breakfast is good. Enough choice.

I didn't stay at the hotel but I stopped here for drinks. It was a very beautiful bar for one in a hotel. The prices were very decent and the bartenders extremely friendly. There were options on the menu for burgers although I didn't partake. It was convenient to many other restaurants, bars, and shopping. Based on the style, design and cleanliness of the bar and lobby I would imagine the rooms too are worth staying in.

Hotel very well located in the heart of the city whose center is prohibited to vehicles and this will allow you to access all the streets and places to visit without constraint. I highly recommend.
