Hi,
Hi,
Thursday the 5th of March we called 111 about 3 30 in the morning;
Our baby, Michael Bjorn Buliga , nearly 1 year old, was coughing and was breeding fast, struggling to breed.
An ambulance came 15 min later to check him, they were very lovely and communicative;
They advised we should come to A&E in order for Michael to get checked by a specialist;
As we got here things went on very smooth, checked Michael, giving him some treatment, also, decided to keep him a bit longer for observation.( Michael was having a very fast pulse and was short of oxygen when sleeping);
Shift has changed about 8 in the morning, when 2 doctors came to see him;
Later on one of the doctors told they will take a sample from my baby's nose " to make sure nothing is growing there";
A few nurses came to take the sample, together with Senior Nurse;
When they got out senior Nurse said " once the test for flu comes back, we will know where he will go, either to ward or home, it's a shame to waste and here.";
About 11 am another doctor came in, she tried 2 inhaler treatment on baby, none worked;
About 1 pm I heard them saying Michael's test came back as negative, nobody told me anything..;
Until 3 pm nurse Diya came and checked on temperature and oxygen level;
I would now like to mention that we are a family of migrants, from Romania. Been here for over 5 years, working and paying taxes.
My husband's English is not perfect, and I haven't been talking much with them present, the am shift I mean.
But I am sure that is not the right way to treat us.
Our baby is unwell, we saw that and decided to get help. We came here because we want help, but they are keeping us here, without knowing what is happening to our baby, insinuating we would abandon our child in hospital, running tests without letting us know what they actually are- us Michael's parent's we had the right to know, rather that telling us "something growing in his nose"-what is that????
I will post this on your website, and everywhere on social media, I don't want this to ever happen to anyone who, unlike us, might understand less.
I hope you will get back to me and at least apologise. As for us, 4 pm, in same room, nothing changes. I hope God will look after our child, because your staff won't even look at us.
Regards,
Adriana Buliga
