Disgraceful! Rang about 7 times now and they still can't be bothered to answer the phone, not impressed!!!

Care too much about the feelings of minorities to actually crack down on crime

Just want to say a massive thank you to PC Dave Clark and his colleagues (apologies I did not get your names.) for coming to our house in the early hours of Saturday morning driving from South Shields to Washington

very helpful and kept us up to date with everything. explained in detail and answered questions. very professional and empathetic.

The police do a very difficult job with a very cut back force now. The public expect too much of the very little manpower left. I know what it was like when my husband was made redundant and until he worked with them I didn't realize what a difficult job all at the police stations do, even to answering calls, working radios etc. Due to the ill treatment they get from the public too many police end up with nervous breakdowns and thats a fact. The public should put themselves in the police force's shoes before picking on the police. Please give them all the credit they deserve as they work for it. Too many people choose to ignore the fact the police also have rules and regulations to follow.

TOTAL WASTE SPACE Neighbour had a party at 4 o'clock in the morning so phoned the police the police turned around said his garden and he can do what he wants in his own garden Disgraceful then started to shine a lazer pen in windows still police did nothing

Been trying to call all morning. No answer . Very annoying even called 101 to try get through. It said cannot connect call. Not good enough

The police are so good at what they do. I feel very safe when our boys & girls in blue are near. They do look after you & are very kind. In order for our country & the world to be safe, we should all do our very best to be compliant & especially in these current & forboding times. God bless you & keep safe always.

I find the fact that the website does not acknowledge our address so we can't fill in the online form. We have lived here for 22 years. The estate was built in 1978, yet we cannot get into a form because the computer does not recognise the postcode.
This needs rectifying urgently.

So Many reviews full of negative comments. I'm only 13 and I want to become a Police Officer. They do so much for us, yet people treat them like trash. They have to fight crime on a budget and yet they still protect us when we're in danger. So please, try to show a little respect for the Men and Women of Northumbria Police. Thanks.

Exceptional advice. I've just had the most shocking experience of harassment and nuisance phone calls but phoned 101 (Mark) and was called by a Police Constable (David Knibbs 655) and his patience and advice were brilliant. Thanks to both.

Provided a shuttle service from my door, appropriately restrained whilst in transit, polite checking in desk, hot beverages were mediocre, the room was minimalist but fantastic acoustics for my night terror screams, check out service could have been quicker.

Always away playing golf on Saturdays. Spent 1hr trying to phone

Top cop shop. Newly built and easily accessible by car or bus.

Staff were very polite while arresting me.
Car was very clean and quite comfortable.

The room was very basic, not much decoration going on. But still had a great sleep on those comfy mattresses.

Checking out in the morning was exceedingly pleasant would highly recommend and will be back for sure!

the WORST station ever. no one knows what is going on. no one communicates with one another. customer service team is nice but still, very lost and very useless.

Made 2 reports of theft and the police didn t bother to attend or patrol the area. Lodged 2 complaints and did nothing about that either. Couldn t even be bothered to call me back. But then they have the audacity to tweet that they don t More

Pc Hunter 1422 assisted me when my elderly Dad went missing.
They attended quickly, were totally compassionate and professional.
I can't thank them enough.
The old boy was found, phew!
I don't understand people being negative about our police and other emergency services.
They do a fab job under dangerous, arduous and relentless circumstances.
Let's all work their long hours, leave our loved ones at home and see how mouthy you can be.
To me the emergency, military and the NHS personnel are all heroes.

Police + CPS council and the mainstream media are a disgrace they have worked together to hush this and other cases up! Dozens of officers, 20 vehicles, a helicopter and six marksmen...To gun down one harmless cow! But they haven't got the resources for anything else.

This Police service are excellent and its rare to none that anyone doesn't follow the codes of conduct, rules and regulations set out for them. They have an excellent new facility in Middle engine lane built only three years ago and they deserve it. Keep up the good work.

Have been really helpful in the past, but thanks to government cutbacks they are so under rescourced. Car was was broken into, don't know why I bothered reporting it, as nothing was done and the promised phone calls were never returned

bad place if your baddy, great place for the good guys. They will serve you three meals a day, you get your own ensuite and wake up calls every 30 minutes.

Answered the phone straight away (via 101)... even on a Sunday evening. Very calm, professional and helpful. Thank you.

So I thought I was a good idea to walk home from Sunderland town at quarter to two in the morning , being a young vulnerable girl on two different occasion 2 police cars stopped to ask if I needed taking home made sure i had enough battery on my phone, I can't thank these officers enough for making sure I was okay they truely are an asset to this country
